My recent stay at The Chattanoogan Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's excellent service, convenient location, and well-designed layout.

The staff at The Chattanoogan was incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs. From the front desk staff who greeted me with a smile to the housekeeping team who kept my room spotless, everyone I encountered went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel's location in the heart of downtown Chattanooga was perfect for exploring the city. I was within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it easy to experience all that Chattanooga has to offer.

The layout of the hotel was also impressive. The spacious lobby provided a welcoming atmosphere, while the well-maintained grounds and beautiful rooftop bar offered stunning views of the city. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay - complete with great views of the mountains.

I normally book the lower tier, well-known hotels from brands, but for this short trip, I splurged a bit and said, "Why not get a nicer hotel at the government rate?". Overall, I was not disappointed as the location as it was a walkable distance to most well ranked dining places. There were some issues with the key system being down, which required an escort to let you in your room. However, I didn't find this to be too big of an inconvenience as it is a security issue. The room had a few minor things I largely overlooked and accepted, like some very small stains on the bedspread, small holes in the sheet/mattress cover, and flickering light in the closet.

Fantastic place to have meetings, or stay the night. I got to view some on the rooms at the function I was at. They are really nice! We went up to the rooftop bar and it was great! Lots of room for outside seating and inside seating. The inside also has couches and chairs you can sit in. If you have friends or family coming in check this place out. Another great feature is having fireplaces outside to cozy up to. 😊

The rooms are exceptional, very clean, and the bed makes you wanna stay another night!! As soon as you walk through the door there's all kinds of eye catching material. The lobby is so comfy, and the service from the employees are very welcoming. Not to mention THE SPA has a very relaxing feel to get plenty of Me Time! There's a full bar and the restaurant downstairs THE FORGE has a succulent menu. Plus the dining area is spacious with an open kitchen where you can enjoy watching the chefs prepare your meal. Cooked to perfection enjoyed til the very last bite!! If you are expecting to be in the downtown area THE CHATTANOOGAN is the place to be!!

This was our 1st. time staying at this hotel and overall the experience was nice. We were saddened a bit because according to google there was a swimming pool but after checking we were informed that the pool was no longer available. We could’ve researched that on our part. Once we arrived the television wasn’t working due to it needing to be plugged up but we had no idea. The maintenance came twice because there was an issue with the volume as well. Both problem’s were fixed. Second, there was no shampoo in the shower so housekeeping was called to fix that issue. Third, I dropped a top to a drink behind the refrigerator and housekeeping was already in our room bring new shampoo so he pulled out the refrigerator for me. Once he did that we discovered that it was filthy behind there. He took pictures and submitted them to the housekeeping supervisor. He did kindly clean it and wiped it out for us. I also found a hair inside the refrigerator as if housekeeping didn’t take the time to wipe it clean. Our stay wasn’t bad and we would stay again but for the price, I did expect for even those small and commonly used items to available.

Very nice rooms and had a great massage in the spa. Several eating options were available. Miss the pool and steam and saunas. Elevators were extremely slow.

Nice peaceful 20th Anniversary getaway with the wife. We'll be back. Room needed a few minor repairs but was very nice and clean. I like the dining on site. Brunch should be on Sunday not Saturday.

Full disclosure, my family ultimately did not stay here so I cannot speak to that experience but I wanted to leave a review based on the service we received. I initially booked this hotel for a family vacation including 3 kids between 3 and 8 because of the pictures of the pool. However, quickly upon arriving we realized the pictures are from old reviews and the hotel in fact no longer has a pool. We approached the front desk who explained this has happened several time before. They were then quickly on the phone with another Hilton Property and in short order we were checked in to the new hotel with 3 happy kids in the pool. Thank you.

This was my partner and I’s first time staying here and we started second guessing booking the hotel due to some negative reviews, but our stay ended up being great! The lobby was probably the cutest, comfiest hotel lobby i’ve ever walked into, and the staff was also nice and knowledgeable with the area. Rooms were pretty standard, nothing crazy, but the bathrooms seemed newly renovated which was different and modern. However, we really booked it because we were coming into town late and we saw it had a rooftop bar and lounge area so we figured even if we get to town late we could have casual activities to do at the hotel….they are closed sunday and monday—which were the days we went there. That might be our bad not checking its hours, but we still had access to the top and it was pretty nonetheless. One more thing was that was really neat about this hotel was that they had electric scooters charging outside the lobby!! You still have to rent/pay for them like every other city electric scoot but it was probably the best ways to make a vast coverage of downtown quick and easily, but also super fun!!

I didn’t stay in this hotel because it was sold out. I attended a conference here. The place is beautiful and comfortable with at least one restaurant/bar and a Starbucks. It’s in a very walkable area with a lot to do and see close by.

This was our first time visiting Chattanoogan and the city is so beautiful. We stayed right on the riverfront. The hotel location was a bit hard to find due to road construction so we had to call and ask the front desk where they were located exactly. There were lots of road closures so we had to loop around to get inside the hotel. The front desk clerk was very polite and professional. The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay a lot. If you park in the garage, using your room key will prevent you from having to pay for parking fees.

An awesome experience at this hotel. On site restaurant, rooftop bar, and a Starbucks. Room and service 5 stars. We look forward to visiting them again.

You must go see Patrick at the spa! He can brighten up anyone’s day. We ❤ you Patrick! We were really bummed they no longer have a pool or hot tub but we still had a blast. Their breakfast/brunch buffet on Sundays is also gone but the food to order was still amazing! THE BEST WAFFLES I’ve ever had and I normally don’t like waffles. The steak and eggs with those little potatoes alongside the waffles are the best! You must try!

Have stayed here twice and both visits did not disappoint. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The grounds are very well kept. The Forge restaurant is awesome place to have dinner. The food and service are wonderful.
The bar is one of the better hotel bars around. Its very well stocked with quality whiskeys.
If they are serving breakfast, go for it. If it's the breakfast buffet i would skip the $19 mushy eggs, damp toast and (meh) coffee.

This was out first time visiting Chattanooga. This city is nice with lots of things to enjoy. The Chattanoogan is in a great location to restaurants and bars. And 5 minutes away from the Tennessee river. This hotel has a roof top bar that serves food; as well as an indoor restaurant. Rooms are nice but I was expecting better for the price. It's a normal hotel room nothing fancy at.

Our room was great, definitely worth the money. The staff was super responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I would describe them as ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen. The location is amazing as there are tons of things to do within walking distance. Just remember the parking garage is pay-to-park, so if you drive, plan on paying extra (though having secure parking in the city is worth paying for). This will be my go-to hotel when I visit Chattanooga.

I have been staying at the Chattanoogan Hotel for a few years now. This is my preferred hotel in Chattanooga, TN because the location is very centrally located and easy to access. The front desk staff is always welcoming. BIG shout out to Corbin and Randy who always make me feel like I am home at my neighborhood restaurant and provide excellent service.

This has been 1 of the best experiences that we have had with a hotel. Everyone was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. The food was wonderful. They made life easy for my family. The spa was amazing for my wife. The manager and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty for her. They helped make her birthday, the best 1 she has ever had. I am extremely impressed and grateful for their professionalism and hospitality.
