New Light Animal Hospital

Always a great experience with New Light Animal Hospital since my Corso and Boerboel pup have been going here. Everyone is so nice, and willingly to help, and answers any questions you have and most importantly they all love on your pets which is always a plus in my book. You can definitely tell the staff cares about your pets health when you go. I’ve been to quite a few vets & in my 10yrs I am so happy and relieved I came across them. Whenever someone ask about finding a vet,I always recommend New Light Animal Hospital

My puppy and I had our first visit yesterday and I would highly recommend this veterinarian office to anyone with pets. The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly, and my puppy loved to be able to sit on a sofa while waiting to go back. He was very comfortable and was not nervous at all! I feel like I was NOT pressured in paying for things that I thought I did not need. I feel like my dog had the best care he could find anywhere.

If you have a new pet and are looking for a veterinary practice you won’t go wrong by choosing New Light. I love taking my dog to Dr Brooke. She is very personable and kind and takes ample time with my pet. The staff are friendly and she has just expanded her office area which is beautiful. I have not personally seen the other vet in the practice but highly recommend Dr. Brooke.

We have been taking our 1 year old goldendoodle Mia to this practice for about 8 months now. We couldn't be happier with the quality of care, knowledge and affection shown by the doctors (Dr. Brooke especially). Dr. Brooke performed Mia's spay surgery from which Mia recovered within a matter of 2 days. They are very thorough with the explanations and information which is provided. We have also reached out to them on phone a few times and have gotten great advice and care. Overall, visiting the hospital is a very pleasant and reassuring experience.

My daughter brought her dog (brownie) here for a very loose tooth. Brownie’s condition was explained to Dr.Brook and we didn’t want to put him dog under anesthesia and even though brownie was being the biggest pain in the neck, Dr.Brook was very patient and kept her professionalism and sweetness together all at the same time. She ended up giving brownie a sedative to calm him down to gently pull out that tooth and once he was calm enough Dr.Brook managed to pull out his tooth with her fingers. We were so impressed with Dr.Brook, she was so Persistent and didn’t want to give up on brownie even though our appointment went well beyond 30 minutes. Her vet tech was just as impressive. This wasn’t our first experience with new light animal hospital , we had a very good experience with Dr. Matt as well. This practice has it together, they have hired very knowledgeable and compassionate staff and we will definitely continue to bring our pets here. Special thanks to Dr. Brook for keeping brownie’s best interest at Heart.

Dr. Brooke, Dr. Matt, and the New Light team always deliver exceptional customer service and dedicated work to every client and patient! We had to make the difficult decision of putting our heart dog down 2 months ago. Dr. Brooke, Mia, Sarah, and Quinn made my experience less painful. They had plenty of tissues in the room, and didn’t rush us to check out when we needed just a little extra time even though they were closing for the night. They have also helped with the many other pets that we have. I would recommend both doctors if your pet needs to be seen. You can’t go wrong.

After 20 years with other clinics, New Light is excellent and our # 1 choice.Very friendly , very professional and great care.

Dr. Brooke and the team at New Light Animal Hospital are phenomenal. Our 8.5yo Greater Swiss Mountain Dog was very sick and we needed to find the cause and see if it wa a manageable without surgery. Dr. Brooke listened to all of our concerns and was so very empathetic. She calmed our nerves and took excellent care of our Addison. When we got the sad news of liver cancer, she did a thorough job of explaining the images and what the next steps would be. Her presence was very calming. She and Heather came to our home an hour later to help our family say goodbye to Addison and then end her suffering so we could see her again one day.
One day if we should add another dog to our family, I will definitely be bringing him/her to Dr. Brooke at New Light Animal Hospital.

Though we left with said news, Dr. Daniel was so kind and gentle. We are so grateful to have found her. Thank you for being so wonderful ❤

Last week, I rushed my dog to New Light Animal Hospital. We were walking with several dogs when suddenly my lab hitched up his rear leg and started to stumble and nearly collapse on his front legs. We got him in a car and I ran in asking for help. Dr M was still in and he checked my dog. He had recovered from the occurrence by the time we arrived. I do not usually panic having been a nurse for years, but I had never seen anything like this. He came home and was ravenous for water, so we limited his quantity to small amounts. He has been fine since and went for a swim today. I want to thank Dr M for seeing my dog even though the office was ready to close.

This was our first time to New Light. We have definitely found our new Vet Home for our fur babes. My dog Harriet is an extremely anxious little terrier mix. She does have to have a anti anxiety med before vet appts. But the beautiful, kind way that the vet tech approached Harriet really helped to build Harriet's trust right from the start. The tech just seemed to know that sudden movements would be a problem for Harriet so she was very careful to move in a way that was thoughtful of my pup first. I was really impressed. Then when the Dr. came in he really seemed interested in getting to the heart of Harriet's problem and finding a true solution. They honestly seem to put my dog's best interest first, I really believe that. I've been to other vets where I felt like they were trying to get as much money out of me, helping my dog was just an inconvenience. But not at New Light. I'm so thankful that we found them.

Today was my first visit at New Light Animal Hospital! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating and seemed eager to help. They came out to meet me and my dog (Samson) and brought treats for him and took their time to get to know him and make him feel comfortable as he gets quite anxious in new places. By the time we were halfway through our appointment my pup was getting super comfortable with them and didn’t scare away from them like he usually does around new people! It is extremely nice to have such a great place full of wonderful people to help me with my fur babies and keep them as healthy as possible. I would absolutely recommend New Light to anyone who is looking for a vet to help take care of their pets!!!!

Such a great place! I have taken my cat and dog there and both times I’ve received excellent customer service and my pets were happy campers after. I cannot praise the techs enough for being extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating and I was impressed at the lengths they went to ensure the trip to the vet was a pleasant and easy one.
Also, the televet feature they use is LOVELY!! So convenient and easy to use, and did I mention responsive!! They are just the best.

We highly recommend New Light, both Dr. Brooke and Dr. Matt are the best. We have been going to them for about 5 years.

Doctor Brooke is AMAZING...kind, gentle, patient, honest, knowledgeable and the only veterinarian I trust in the RDU area. No matter the situation, she is there, making sure my cat gets the best care consistently. The communication is great, pricing is very fair, and Kevin the receptionist is a great way to start and end every visit. Plus the office is clean, beautifully decorated and mood is less stressful at New Light Animal Hospital than other places we have visited. To see my cat interact with the doctor and staff so calmly is confirmation we’re at the right place. Oh and the cherry on top is they take the time to follow up too. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Brooke Daniel and her team have been amazing! We highly recommend this practice! They have treated our dogs with such love and care and Dr. Daniel is extremely patient and explains all the treatment options. I could give them 10 stars

I would highly recommend this vet to anyone. They did an excellent job with my older dog, especially with helping us with his pain management after he was diagnosed with cancer. When he had to cross over the rainbow bridge, the people here showed so much care and attention to detail during such a delicate moment that they will always have a special place in our hearts when we think about that difficult day. We are very grateful for the care and respect they treated our good boy with.
