Flooring by Design

We had a great experience with Flooring By Design! We just purchased our new home and wanted to replace some carpet before moving in. Carolyn was fantastic - she was available to meet quickly, was able to advise on carpets that worked for the space and our needs, and the selection was really tremendous. She also worked with us to find something that fit our budget. Once we settled on a carpet, we were able to get it installed within about 2 weeks - with plenty of time left before we moved in. The installation team did a great job and the carpet looks fantastic. Would highly recommend!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Carolyn for my kitchen renovation and I am ecstatic with the results! Her expertise in combining modern aesthetics with a warm inviting ambiance as well as practicality truly shines in the transformation of my kitchen. It was previously a tiny, claustrophobic, dim space and is now an expansive room that combines grays and blues complimented by black fixtures and flooring with a touch of white in the countertops and tile. Flooring By Design was an overall great company to work with. Jayson, our sales rep, was very patient with us in our decision making process. He took multiple trips to our office space to drop off samples, go over questions we had, and to get a good grasp on our office layout. Heath, our project manager, did a great job with communicating with us, scheduling the labor when it was most convenient for our busy medical office, addressing any concerns we may have had, and making sure everything was done in a timely manner and to our likings. The floors look great, the work was done quickly, and everyone was very professional. We would highly recommend this company!

We were very pleased with the process, starting with Kaylan. She was very professional and knowledgeable with picking out the hardwood floors and so easy to work with. The floors are beautiful just like we had imagined them. The crew that installed the floors was excellent, very professional and efficient. Overall a very positive experience. Kaylan Oakley at Flooring by Design saved the day! I was doubting both the flooring and backsplash tiles I had chosen for a downstairs remodel. My husband got on the internet and found Flooring by Design, and suggested we go check it out. Best decision EVER! Kaylan helped us find the perfect floor, which was an upgrade from what we had originally chosen, yet, after installation, it was no more expensive than the less durable original choice. As we were walking out, I noticed their tiles, so she then helped me find a backsplash option that I was very happy with. She provided way more assistance than the store I was panning to order from by showing us examples of what it would look like in various installation designs. the day before she was coming to the house with the samples, a new shipment arrived that she thought I might like. She nailed it! And while at the house, she also had extremely helpful advice on paint colors. This company has great installers as well! They were not only great at what they do, but were respectful and friendly, and cleaned up at the end of the job. Our contractor was particularly impressed by the quality of the tile installation! I truly wish I had gone to Flooring by Design at the start of my remodel project. It would have saved me a lot of time and headaches!! We definitely plan to use this company and Kaylan when we're ready to upgrade the upstairs of our house.

He met us in our home and at the showroom to show us their vast selection of options and offer his professional advice on which ones would work best for us. The installers were professional, efficient and friendly and they managed to install the carpet in our entire home in just 2 days. We love our new carpeting - it's so soft and comfortable, and it's completely transformed the look and feel of our home!

From carpet selection to installation, Flooring by Design did a wonderful job. Kaylan was so easy to work with. She listened to what I wanted and then suggested carpets that met my criteria. I was on a tight schedule as I wanted to get the carpets installed prior to moving into our new house, and Kaylan was able to get the carpets installed on my timetable. Carolyn worked with me on several projects and I was happy to have "one stop shopping". I was also pleased with the work of each team of installers. We were referred to Flooring by Design via Reddit and a coworker who had personal experience with them. Heath was professional and helpful from the start. The estimate he provided was far more detailed and thorough than any of the others we got. He explained what we could expect from day one through completion of the project, which made it really easy to manage our expectations about when we would be able to use our (only!) shower again. We went to their showroom and Heath guided us through the tile picking process, which initially seemed overwhelming but he made enjoyable. He coordinated with our plumber, and handled the painting crew. We are thrilled that the process was so smooth! We would hire Flooring by Design again in a heartbeat.

We’ve completed a considerable project with Flooring By Design and had a very good experience. We added a lot of new hardwood flooring to our existing hardwood flooring as well as some new carpet on our main staircase.

It started out with our sales design associate, Carolyn. We wanted to see every possible alternative and that was not too much to ask from Carolyn. She was patient, positive, and tireless and continuously available for questions. She provided sample after sample. If she didn’t know the answer to a question she quickly found it out. She was a great listener and offered insightful design tips when asked. We really appreciated her always helpful attitude and personal pizazz and appreciated her no pressure style.

At the end of all the shopping over several stores, Flooring By Design had the best deal. The VP Heath Cotton managed the project going forward and kept close track of everything. He is a serious knowledgeable professional and nothing slips past him. He scheduled and monitored the entire installation process which included several teams of workers over many weeks. It turns out there are many variables and considerations with this kind of project and it really calls for someone who knows what they are doing to keep it all running smoothly. Heath was that guy for us and he did it right. No project of this size is free of problems and Heath made sure every issue we had was correctly taken care of.

At the end of it all, we have a new hardwood floor with the old wood and the new wood seamlessly matched in a beautiful result. It’s made our house feel new again and we consider it all a very good investment that will contribute to the value of the house down the road.

We recently used Flooring by Design to install carpet in our dining room. I got a few quotes and Flooring by Design ways by far the most affordable. Kaylan was really great to work with and went out of her way to help us find the right carpet. The installation was quick and it looks great! Some of the quarter round molding was damaged on installation, but some of it was damaged already so I don't think it was their fault. We are very happy with our experience and would use them again!

After looking into several flooring/carpet places I decided to go with Flooring by Design. Carolyn was very helpful with my design choices and I love how the floors came out. She was also professional and easy to work with. There are always going to be things that come up and Carolyn followed up and ensured things got done right. I would use Flooring by Design again.

Wonderful experience! They did every floor in my condo - tile, carpet, and refinished wood/put in new wood, as well as the stairs! Workers are courteous and do an amazing job!
