AMAZINGGGGG. I SAT IN THE CHAIR AT 9:35am and was done by 11:30. the staff is fast and very assertive with their work. they want to make sure you’re comfortable and that everything is to YOUR satisfaction 10/10. RECOMMEND!! ❤❤❤🦋🦋

The staff was very friendly, one of the braiders even went to the Beauty Supply store next door to help me pick out my hair. It only about 2 hours to remove my twist style to installing my braids. Beautiful! I have found my place!

I don’t normally write reviews yet I need for everyone who enjoys QUALITY and SUPER FAST SERVICE go here. I called this morning they told me to come in. I got Knotless butt length braids.Arrived @ 11 got out at 2:30. I am indeed very tender headed. The ladies made me wanna get my hair braided more often . I absolutely do not like sitting down for 8hrs or more for any hair styles!! Most importantly they use quality products not that cheap black gel that flakes. First thing I look for honestly. This is now my braiding home. Thank GOD & Google I found them. Very nice & pleasant ladies. The price was reasonable and I also gave a tip. They are worth every single dollar and more.

I brought my mom to get her braided today! Her hair was fabulous! They were so fast, kind and patient. She is tender headed and they made it easy! The style she had would normally take a number of ours and it was done in one! Five stars!

I went to Mariam braiding shop and I love my hair. It was 3 people doing my hair so it didn't take long. The style was beautiful. I worked with me to find the right style. Very nice people. I would come in if you are looking for good quality hairstyle. 👌

I would like to thank these wonderful women; I went in with no appointment ( caught them at a good time😄)and they did some corrections on some previous braids not put in by them. They sympathized with me and took me right in and made the corrections without any hesitation. Most people wouldn’t have done corrections from someone else work but they did and I left looking and feeling fabulous. Thank you so.. so much!!!!

Someone scammed my 16 year old out of 100 dollars claiming they had a shop that didn't exist (MEME african braids), part of her Christmas present was getting her hair done it's short and we were having a hard time finding someone to grip it, I Google hair braiders near me and Mariam's popped up we went in and she got right to work transforming my baby frown to a smile only took 2 hours with 3 people on her head I definitely will be returning!! Very professional and sweet ladies 10/10

I came today to have my hair braided. Great experience! They took me in the seat exactly at my appointment time. They took the time to explain the sizes and lengths since this was my first time getting braids. I was complete in less than two hours! If you are looking for the perfect braid shop, I encourage you to come to them. I’ll be back and next time….I’m bringing my mom as well.

The service was absolutely great! I called at 11:30 was taken at 12:00 and was done by 2pm for Knotless braids. I will be returning!

My stylist canceled last min so I came here. I got here at 1pm and was walking out at 4:50 pm. I would definitely come again

Very fast and professional. This was a last min appt and they fit me right in. I had went to another shop previously and wasn't pleased. Came here and it was no problem. The price was a lil pricey but worth it.

I visited Mariam African Hair Braiding after scheduling an appointment 2 days earlier by phone. She and everyone in the shop was very friendly. I got micro braids and was in the shop for about 2.5 hours which is the fasts I’ve ever gotten my hair braided. I really love my style 😊 definitely will visit again.

I have been coming to Mariam for 6+ years she never disappoints and my hair is always done in a timely manner this is the only place I
go to get my hair done.

Oct 2020: I wanted to get knotless goddess braids done and had a really bad hair experience with Twisted Cvlture salon in Raleigh the night before. I came to Mariam's shop to figure out how to fix it. She not only took me in without an appointment, but took the hair out at a discount, and had one of her stylists re-do my entire head. She walked me to the hair supply store and comforted me throughout. I had such a great experience with these ladies, I 100% will be coming back. They were so lovely and I got the birthday hair I wanted. Thank you Mariam and Rashida!!!

Update: Jan 2021 - Linda also hooked a sis up this time with the knotless braids. Love them!!

I am so very thankful that I came here to get my hair braided. Not only is my hair beautiful, but it is currently very short and she was able to catch it and didn’t make me feel bad. I got here at 9:00 am and now am finished at 1:28 pm with micro braids. I will come here every time for my hair to be braided thank you MARIAM!!
