I just had the best experience at the jewelry counter today. The lady working there was so nice. She really has a gift for talking and I definitely think she deserves her own tv show or shopping channel segment. She was so positive and just full of sweetness. I walked to the counter a little wary because I came there a few weeks ago and the lady kind of brushed me off, made me wait, and went to working with others. But when I didn't see her, I eased on over and this lady was busy working and looking down but still acknowledged me and carried on a conversation with me. I ended up spending a lot of money but it was as if I was shopping with my girlfriends. I really had a fun pleasant time today. That lady is awesome! Give her a raise--and a tv show!

Love this Belk and they were busy! Ladies at fragrance counter need a raise. Public being nasty but they handled it like seasoned veterans.

I always love shopping at Belk. I've never purchased something that I couldn't return. Great quality in the clothing.

The associate who assisted us from the men's department was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to help us put together an outfit and then ordered what we needed. I wish I had remembered her name. Thank you so much!

Needed a winter whie dress...and this was the closest location to drive and pick within a couple of hours. Great curb side pickup

The variety of clothing in the store was very impressive! But tge service Marina provided made the experience so great. We spent very little time looking because she knew just how to be of service to us. Top notch!

A surprisingly wonderful department store inside what, from the outside looks like a dilapidated shopping mall! Cosmetics amazingly well-stocked. Great selection of handbags, clothing, and shoes!

This is a shout out to Evan, who works at Belk in Charlottesville. Wow, I watched you help an older woman searching for blue shoes today and you were so patient and helpful to her and to everyone who asked for help.
I’d have told you in person how great you were but you were gone by the time I got to the register. I recommend this Belk for customer service and I’ll be shopping in store from now on. The last place in America with customer service. Thanks Evan!

Customer service is always top notch. Never have to track down an associate. If they see you looking around they ask if you need help but in no way bug you! I was there Feb 11 & the women in the kids department was soooo helpful.

Love shopping here. Great selection and pricing. Everyone is super friendly. Was surprised to see they also have purses by Gucci. Louis Vuitton and more. Clothes are super cute and sales are phenomenal. Received excellent service from Patsy. Great deals in every department

Just glad Belk is still in Charlottesville, VA! More stock than I remember seeing during other visits. Sales were amazing. Dressing rooms too far from parts of women's department. Quickly found what I was shopping for.

I hadn't been in awhile. We needed new bed linens for our new larger bed on order. I was looking for a quilt or comforter online and had been looking at them at all the sites like Amazon and Wayfair. I remembered our Belk was still open and saw some possibilities online and good deals with sales and mother's day sale. Decided to go to the store for a moms day treat and found a beautiful Waverly set that ended up being a third of full cost. The salesman was very helpful in getting us the best deal! I am very very happy!!

Belk is always an overwhelming (LOL) delight! There's so much & so many designers to choose from that I get myself into trouble. I just want 1 of EVERYTHING! Half of my present wardrobe is from Belk! I've been a faithful customer since the old Leggetts experience in downtown Charlottesville, VA as a child. My mom use to do alterations for the customers!! I remember the original Bargain Center on the 2nd floor! Now the bargains are throughout the store. They've always been mindful of the community as a whole; ensuring that EVERYONE is able to take advantage of quality merchandise! I'm so glad that it's a continuous staple in our community! YAY, BELK!! My niece put on her little cape on Christmas day & wouldn't take it off in spite of the fact that I'd bought her a bag chuck full of clothing!! WTG, BELK!!

This review is an effort to bring specific attention to a manager, Herb. My wife and I needed to buy suits for my wedding and my wedding party. Herb was extremely helpful. He coordinated a large order, including sizes and shipping addresses for over 15 different people. He made it a really great experience and we left very thankful. He also made himself available personally in case there were any issues between our purchase and wedding date. Overall, he was fantastic.

I had never been in Belk before and I was thrilled to see a huge selection of stylish, well-made plus-size clothing (plenty of regular sizes too). The staff is friendly, the store is well organized and clean. I got 2 tops, sweater, jacket, and wallet. I will definately be back.

This is a great department store. It has a variation of prices, brands and quality of goods to suite everyone.It's atmosphere is that of a mid-level department store. Don't miss an opportunity to shop there. My wife and I shop there when traveling to an area where they are located. Without fail.
