We have been with Mashburn for five years now, and would hate to have to look for another accountant. He saved us money right off the bat and was up on the latest tax laws and allowances for our dual-state situation. We keep our household expenses and small business expenses on Excel spreadsheets and he navigates them with perfect ease, even making suggestions as to how we could improve our record-keeping. We were having trouble with a real estate deal and the realtor recommended that we call our accountant. We called Mashburn that evening and he responded to our call, having us to ask ourselves just one question that clarified the problem immediately and kept us from getting skinned. He helps us problem-solve with contractors and vendors so that we know the right questions to ask them and how to get them to give us the information we need to report on our taxes. He helped us plan ahead to pre-pay our taxes so that we didn’t end up with huge lump sums to pay or end up paying too much. He has helped us to reframe our finances in such a way that we can meet our long-term financial and investment goals. We prefer hands-on, face to face meetings and he accommodates us even though he is preternaturally busy. We have been pleased with his work and with our outcomes.

So, glad to have found Chad Mashburn & his team. They have helped with tax questions, explaining it until I understand, communicating, and what info I have needed for FASFA from my taxes. He may not get back to me the same day, but when he does he spends time making sure everything is understood and asking if I have more questions.
