Lamp Post Restaurant

I had heard this place was awesome from friends who live in the area. They were right! I've been watching my carbs so I went with pulled pork, which was delicious, but next time it will be gravy and biscuits!!! As I was walking through to the register to pay out and noticed everyone had stacks of biscuits and gravy!! I actually went over and asked if I could take a picture of a guy's plate for my review!! If they taste half as good as they look I'm in for a treat!! Just a little hometown place that I love to find!!

Been coming here since I was kid, you won’t find better biscuits and gravy! The burgers are good too and the waitresses are always friendly and stay on top of their service. Only thing I would change is adding onto the building to seat more people! 10/10!

This staple of Madisonville is a local favorite. Great authentic southern cooked meals at a great affordable price! Staff is always pleasant! Food is always good!
Can be a little greasy at times.....but what southern food isn't a little greasy?

I love this restaurant! There can be a bit of a wait for breakfast but there is usually good conversation and the employees are nice and no order has ever been wrong. Can't beat the prices either. Definitely recommend.

Great food, great service, and great owners! There was a line out the door, but we were still seated within 10 minutes and food came out very quickly considering how busy they were. We ordered breakfast and dinner food and all was amazing!

We went for the first time for breakfast and will definitely be back! Prices are great, food was exactly what/how we ordered it, and the staff was great.

Great american cafe style food.service was great, and friendly. It has a small town vibe with friendly locals. I enjoyed it, it reminded me of my home town when i was a child. The prices were great as well. When i come back this way i’ll definitely stop by.

The Lamp Post Restaurant is an amazing place to work. It is also a great place to eat the food is really good we have some amazing cooks and a family environment. Lamppost has became home to me

You can't go wrong here! Everything is great, never a bad meal. Breakfast is served all day & the surfer burger is not for wimpy eaters. The staff is friendly & hard workers.
