Tellico Grains Bakery

Charming little place. I had the Free Bird sandwich. It was wonderful and flavorful. I also purchased scones, a turnover and a few of the huge cinnamon rolls. Staff was friendly. Great place to stop and enjoy. Love the rustic atmosphere.

Fantastic bakery, very picturesque. The variety of baked goods is amazing. Lots of options for everyone. Different breads are made on different days, which is the perfect excuse to go back a couple times! Breakfast sandwiches were delicious.

Staffed by friendly people! They keep it clean. You feel more like a guest than a customer! The food is really good! I always stop here when I'm in the area. Limited hours, so plan your visit ahead of time. Also Limited seating. 4 tables and 3 seats at a bar (no alcohol.)

Four of us stopped in today. It was my first time here. I had the "Free Bird" sandwich. An excellent chicken sandwich. It's pretty big, too. $10.99
A very good 👍 sandwich for the money. All of us were very pleased with our choices. And we will be stopping by again.

I Love how this place stays the same and has such a diverse menu! The people here are always so sweet and the food is amazing. If you visit Tellico it's a must!!

Amazing bread! Amazing food! This place is classic southern at its finest. They refurbished an old bank from the early 1900's. The atmosphere is worth a visit alone. Their pastries are some of the best I've ever had. You won't even care if you're developing diabetes! Everything they make is top-notch artisan perfection.

The mountain scenery in Tellico Plains is gorgeous! And if you're visiting the area, you absolutely must stop at the Tellico Grains Bakery!! They variety and flavors of the many breads are amazing! I have never tasted such unique breads, and the flavor blew me away! We got the BLT sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! We topped it off with a very tasty cinnamon roll! The staff are friendly, and so are most of the other visitors. We spent an hour at the bakery, sharing a table and pleasant conversation with a local couple who we didn't know. You have to stop here! You'll be amazed at the flavors!

This is our third visit and we were not disappointed. The line was out the door but we placed our order within 20 minutes or so. Worth the wait! The pizza, sandwiches, and dessert are all equally tasty. The Club is my fave so far. Visiting from Texas. Can’t wait to come back!

It is the best home baked goods I've had since my grandmother's best homemade breads, bread's pastries, and most of all, they're bacon egg and cheese sandwich
But let's not forget all the rest of the goodness hiding in this place. You really, really need to go and look for yourself you will not be disappointed

A true gem! Great wood fired pizzas and delicious carrot cake muffins. The “Free Bird” was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The toffee coffee chocolate ganache cupcakes are amazing! Can’t wait to come through here again and try more baked goods. Reasonably priced!

Always worth the drive!! Excellent everything, food, desserts, breads and more. Great atmosphere, historic location, plenty of parking. We can never leave with out a bag full of goodies!

The food speaks for itself. It’s absolutely the best sandwich I’ve ever had and I really like their cheesecake. They bake their bread fresh every morning! I vacation around that area at least once a year and always make time to get all my goodies before leaving back home. They also have delicious baked treats as well. Everything sells fast so if you have something particular in mind I’d go when they first open.

This is, hands down, the best bakery within driving distance from Chattanooga. All of their breads and pastries are expertly crafted. Their wood fire pizza is delightful. I’ve tried several of their sandwiches and my favorite is the Portobello one. I have started buying extra pastries to bring home to share with friends and family. A definite must visit if you are ever nearby.

I was told this was a place that I must go to if I'm in Tellico, and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, great service! I had a coffee and strawberry scone which were amazing! And I got some bread to take home which I have not tried yet!

What a find!! Local bakery...all items baked fresh on-site daily!! Can't believe the # of available bakery items!! Delicious danish variety!!...Great food and even better service!!!

My wife and I ate there twice in a couple of days. Once after eating at a cafe that was mediocre, we went there for desert and I got the peach turnover. It was great. We then realized they served pizza and sandwiches. We went back to eat a couple of days later. We ordered a pizza and I had a Rueben. The pizza was very good and so was the Reuben. The pizza was thin crust, my favorite. The pastries that we tried, besides the peach turnover, were all good also. The ambiance was very nice. Wish it were closer to my home in Louisiana. We had shopped around for a place to eat in that town and no place had any real crowd at noon, but that bakery did. My guess it is the best place to eat in town, though the menu is limited to pizza and sandwiches that I know. Would gladly go back there again. It was great.

You will make this hometown eatery a must visit when in the area. The food items as well as retail items are made with local ingredients, flava, and love. I recommend the blueberry cream cheese pastry, the spinach and ricotta croissant, and the free bird sandwich. I promise that as long as you truly love food you will be overjoyed to munch on anything in this establishment. Especially so close to the Cherokee National Forest it doesn't get much better than this. *Sips coffee with satisfaction*

Amazing atmosphere and food. Not the cheapest, but worth every penny! Super nice staff.
