I caused a little chaos in the family by saying Betty’s had the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. I went with scrambled eggs, sausage, and a hash brown to go with my biscuits and gravy. Everything about this place is what I love about local places. Be aware they are cash only. No ATM

Don't really need to review. Even the Mayor Honored her,. Been coming here for years one reason I have never reviewed Betty's. THIS IS AS CLOSE TO SOUTERN GRANMA COOKING AS YOU CAN GET. Without having her do it. period. They serve local farm sausage true Gravy, lunch specials etc.. Little tight knit group as well as seating but really is like sitting in your families kitchen..... This is why I give it a perfect score. I mean they even make their own Jelly and Jams... so if you like em try one..

We had a fantastic lunch at Betty's Cafe this week. It was our first visit. Definitely a unique, one-of-a-kind place for breakfast or lunch. My husband ordered the Fri fish special which was catfish and I had the BBQ sandwich. We enjoyed sitting at their lunch counter. It seats around 23 patrons. The noon hour can be packed. By 12:45, it had slowed down. Check their days and hours before you stop.

Small place with only stools at a counter. Lots of locals and regulars. Our first time visit and we felt welcomed. Friendly, efficient waitress and terrific home cooking! Really good bisquits and gravy and eggs cooked as ordered. Gravy is a darker, sausage gravy, and the bisquits are tender and buttery. Be aware that they are cash only...

Looks like a whole in the wall but the staff is great and food is great. Nice old school diner.

Quaint, no-frills, friendly, great southern food. Had the catfish, fries, hushpuppies, slaw, and banana pudding. Counter seating only. Betty came out and talked to us for a bit and got a picture with us for their FB page. Delightful woman doing what she loves.

Old home country feel. The ladies were very friendly. The food is top-notch. The biscuits and gravy with tenderloin. 😋

Tiny little spot but those are the best places! Best pancake I think I ever had. Huge and so fluffy. Well done! Loved the vibe and I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much 💓

Fantastic..hole in the wall place..homey..perfect menu...look them up even!! So many choices to eat. I was craving the perfect cheeseburger and onion rings and I got it :)

It is becoming more and more difficult to find places that serve real gravy and not some type of packet mixture mess. Don't despair though; Betty's Stockyard Cafe has some of the best gravy and biscuits I have eaten outside of my family's home cooking and undoubtedly reigns supreme above any other breakfast I have tried at various restaurants in the Tri-Cities area. Great food, great portions, great prices. Can't wait to stop by and try something from the lunch menu the next time I am in the area.

Food was outstanding and incredibly fast. Pricing is unbeatable for the quality. Make sure to order extra bacon because one order is never enough once you need to scoop up the extra gravy or eggs.

My Darling husband loved Betty’s I wish he was here to go every morning ! I am so glad he enjoyed himself before God called him home !

OMG!! Best food in Kingsport!! Been eating at Betty's over 20 years and NEVER got anything that wasn't absolutely delicious! Betty is just precious. It is family owned and family operated. Great place to take the kids. Betty always has something special for the little ones.
