West Regional Library

Went there during the day. Spacious and comfortable environment with plenty of sunlight. Easy self-checkout for books. Students also do homeworks there (can be nice), but I am glad I do not have to do that any more.

Great library filled with all types of design features that make a big difference. This is an 'U' shaped building with one wing focused on children up to teens and then the other wing mainly focused on adults. This is a great thing because it creates two zones but they're still connected through lobby/waiting/checkout area. There are multiple circular information desks where you have librarians ready to assist you. There are also many companies available to use and study areas, work stations, rooms and of course books. The children's area is really interactive and they're always activities going on for them. If you're in the area, check this library out.

Love the spacious modern design! Great place to read a book and enjoy your afternoon with your little ones.

This library is fantastic. Tons of books for kids of all reading levels, clean space, helpful staff, easy book reserve program, and a great technology forward/upgraded checkout experience.

Very good library and staff also very helpful. recommends going with family to spend some time by reading and encourage kid's to find their own books to read.

Our favorite library with an amazing children's program! We love Story time and the events. Clean, tidy and organized. Keep up the great work!

Excellent library! Very clean and books are well kept. It has lot of place to read books. The Adult and youth sections are separate, that really helps. Also it was good to see people respecting the mask mandate inside the library.

Probably one of the best libraries in existence. Thoughtfully designed, well-lit, clean, full of great books and resources, and staffed with knowledgeable librarians. Coming here is an absolute treat.

Simply the best! We moved a little away from west regional, and we miss it so much! What a great collection of books. And the facilities always staffed by really courteous, knowledgeable and lovely people.

Great library and been coming here since mid 2011. Removed one star since some of the internet computers are down frequently, but there are still plenty more available. Come here to surf the web, do email, read a good book, or do some research on various topics. This is a great library but I recommend the reclining chairs like the NCSU Libraries. I know they are expensive but that is just my suggestion. It would be awesome. ;) Thanks.

Update (3/16/24)—still an awesome amazing library and staff are really nice and helpful unlike some other libraries I have been to. Upgrading my review to 5 stars ⭐ . Just recommend they have reclining lounging chairs 🪑.

Great selection of children’s books. Kids area appeals to kids. Clean. Lots of places to sit and read, work or study. Great check out area. It’s quick and easy to use.

Love this library. Well organized and clean . My kids love to go here anytime. Books placed on hold are always made available for pickup quickly. Keep up the good work team!

Clean, spacious, with plenty of desks and places to work. Wifi signal is strong and free. Quiet and well maintained, overall a good place to catch up on work or study.

I took a masters class online this past summer and I studied there every day. It’s great because there’s a great quiet room with tons of natural light or little alcoves with desks all along the adult section. There are plenty of desks for kids working on group projects who tend to be pretty respectful and keep the noise to a minimum. I love seeing people from all walks of life when I’ll spend a day there, from kids and parents to teenagers working on projects to adults doing everything from planning trips to studying for the BAR exams on the computers. There are always people there to assist you, it’s clean, there’s any type of workspace you can think of. 100% would recommend!

My 9yo and I love West Regional branch. It's very spacious. Even with Covid distancing it has enough room to study. Lil kids corner is very cozy. Stuff is very nice, friendly and helpful.

West Regional is the best! Their staff plan so many wonderful and fun activities for the community, and include all ages and interests. Staff is always helpful and kind. The library is clean and well-organized. Someone is always willing and able to help you find anything you need or give a book suggestion. We are very blessed to live close to such an amazing library! If you have kids you simply must check out Mr. Keith’s storytime and/ or school age program!
