The mushroom burger and onion rings were delicious! The classic rootbeer float was a great treat as well.

Definitely drive on into this classic roadside restaurant to enjoy a taste of the 50s.

I haven't been to a A&W since I was a teenager living in Michigan. The food was really good. They only have double hamburgers in various way.i happened to get the Bacon Double Cheeseburger. It was fresh and hot the bacon a little crisper than I would have liked but they didn't skimp on it like other places do. It good melting cheese on both patties and the lettuce and tomatoes were really fresh as well. It is a bit messy but a good burger is usually. For just the sandwich it was $6.99 which I think wasn't a bad price being it was a double. Also ordered a large fry which came out so fresh and hot and they had just the right amount if crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and they were loaded up with a bunch of salt either. I highly recommend if you are ever in or around Madisonville, TN. Stop by and grab yourself and or your family a burger.

Enjoyed our meal and A&W floats! Definitely worth our 2 1/2 hour trip from the Atlanta area, especially being able to take home a few collector mugs as well! Just a heads up for anyone going soon.. not all the speakers work. We had to pull in and out of quite a few bays just to find a working speaker to order. You can always walk up to the front and order from the outdoor picnic table area.

Love happy hours 2pm -4pm. It was a beautiful day for a drive and we stopped and ordered 2 root beers and a large cheese to curd to split the root beers are so yummy and the cheese curds were great. The price can't be best with a tip it was under 10 dollars we love the place everyone should give it o try, highly recommend

Best bacon double cheeseburger I've eaten in a while and I don't usually eat my fries at most restaurants. But your fries are very tasty. The one who brought us the food was very attentive to our needs. And made it a great time to be there keep up the good work!

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Locally owned they also own the KFC across the street & they also own the car wash right next A&W.

The food is always good! And surprisingly if they are busy, the food always seems to come quickly! Very friendly workers everytime as well.

I love the nostalgia! The A&W Root Beer is a must have. I also got the dip dogs and fries ($4 deal) and that was really good too. When I was a child (40 years ago) we had one of the little A&W mugs and I was pleasantly surprised that they still have them. Of course I now see it as a shot glass vs a drinking cup. 😂

Kinda sad they did away with the Shrimp Basket, Fish Basket and Cole Slaw.
Hamburger still good and of course the frosty mugs.

We actually seen it as I drove by. In unison we agreed on turning around for lunch at A&W. The waitress ( I did not get her name ) was friendly and smiling right off. Food did not disappoint as it was fresh and real. Served hot and flavorful. The whole experience was memorable. A&W is celebrating 💯 years in business, a glass jug of in store made root beer and some high quality mugs for enjoying it were a part of our purchase. We both enjoyed our respective meals with plans to return in the near future. This was a return to a good memory for myself.

This is a really cool location! Very original and more reminiscent of the older style ones I grew up with in Michigan. The food was amazing, not a single let down to this stop! Great service, fast to get our food. All in all, I will make the 35 minute trip to eat here again! I saw the 100 years painted on the building, my friends, there is a reason why they have stayed in business that long. I am not even a root beer drinker, but if it's A&W, I always have one. Cannot tell you guys enough how much my family enjoys your food and atmosphere!

They still offer a "Chuckwagon" sandwich! A memory from a far distant past. Loved every bite. Fries were hot and crispy and the root beer? Delicious!

It's a drive in so the atmosphere is what it is. I love their cheese curds, especially during happy hour. Their car hops are always friendly and talkative.

Good food and great atmosphere!! Haven't had a Root beer in a frosted mug since I was a Kid ( I'm 55 now) !!!

We set at the picnic tables everyone was very friendly!it was nice and clean.

Saw it stopped and was pleasantly surprised how cheap and great the food and drink was
