Carpenter Park

Oh, my! One of the biggest and nicest park I've been to! So much fun going on, hard to decide which one to do first. Lots of cool play equipment, including drums and even a piano! Sandpit, beautiful lake to walk around and a live bush maze/labyrinth. They also have a basketball court and a pickleball court too. Although it was winter and cold, we ended up staying for almost 2 hours. The whole family enjoyed it!

My toddler thoroughly enjoyed herself! She loved the sliding board, the swings and the tunnel. I do wish there were a few more equipment pieces for the smaller kids, but overall we enjoyed it and will be going back!

Very nice and clean park in neighborhood of Cary and Morrisville. They have basketball courts, kids play area, skateboard track, a big walking pathway and a restroom. Would highly recommend for play activities but not enough for parties.

Very well maintained

I recently visited Carpenter Park and was blown away by the beauty and variety of activities available. The park has a large open green space, perfect for picnicking, playing catch, or just lounging in the sun. The playground was well-maintained and provided a fun and safe environment for kids to play.

In addition to the open green space, the park also features walking and hiking trails, a fishing pond, and several picnic areas. The trails offered a peaceful escape from the city, with scenic views of the surrounding nature. I was impressed by the cleanliness and well-maintained facilities throughout the park.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Carpenter Park and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great place to spend a day outdoors. Whether you're looking to relax, exercise, or spend time with family and friends, this park has something to offer.

Wonderful park with lots of beautiful walking paths. New tennis/pickle ball courts and lovely play area for children. Bathrooms were pretty good considering it was a park. Picnic area could be great for having a weekend getaway. The entire park is relatively small but it has everything you could dream of. Parking is a bit cramped but overall, wonderful location.

Nice open space with plenty of parking, open spaces, garden, playground, and walking loop with water views.
It is easy to get in and out. I always enjoy my time at the park.

I have visited here a couple of times. While it is a small park, there are some interesting things here. The large willow structure for instance as well as the "Pump Track". Rather than try to describe them I have included pictures of them as well as the signs that are posted about them.

There are clean restrooms, but no paper towels, so if you want to wash and dry your face off, you will need to figure out a way to use a hot air hand dryer to do that.

There is a small walking trail, but it is very small, so if you are trying to get exercise you will need to do a lot of laps. That is fine if you don't mind that, but if you like the greenways, this will be nothing like that.

There is a playground. I can't say much about it as I did not use it.

It is a different experience than some of the larger parks in the area. Not better, not worse, just different. If you haven't been, try it out at least once.

Beautiful. Free parking. There's a large pond. Bird watching and jogging trail. Conservation area. Trail in a wooded area. There's a large real-life art display of vine imported from Canada that has a maze through it. Very strong and fit for children with parental care. Birds are nesting and rearing above the top.

Breathtakingly beautiful park with lots of seating and open spaces. Walkable and restful. This is a wonderful and well maintained park. Something for everyone. Great for families or by yourself. Open space with tennis courts, a playground, and tracks. Enjoy!

Visited the Stick Art structure yesterday and loved it. Such a unique piece of art!
Carpenter park is a very well rounded park for kids. The shelter is close to the playarea. The structures are well maintained. A small pond to watch the geese and ducks is fun too!

A great park, full of kids, with plenty of space to play. The playground is fun for children of all ages, and the scooter/bike course is really enjoyable. The live art display is always great for a game of hide-and-seek.

Nice community park . It has 2 pickle ball courts, big basketball court, kids playing area, walking trail can be used for bicycling, sand pit. Small park with modern facilities. it’s quite busy at times. Overall good.

A great little park in morrisville area. This park has a little bit of many things, 2 pickle ball courts, enough parking space, kids play area, sand area, a pond with ducks and 0.3mile walkway around the pond, restrooms and a small first come first serve shelter with 2-3 picnic tables. Bonus this year, they have setup a scooter park, a stick tree sculpture made of willow tree. This park is always fun for my kids. Definitely recommend 👍

Great place to hangout for kids and parents both. Kids can play in the park and parents may stroll around the trail by the lake. There are also plots available to rent for plant lovers. Nicely kept and maintained.

It's a beautiful place for a nice evening stroll and for kids. It's got a gardening place as well. I haven't explored it but seems like they have various plants.
Lots of rabbits running around so watch out fir your fur babies chasing them 😀.

Love the all the green area! My little one loves to go there and watch the animals. The playground is ok for kids up to 6yrs or so. There is also a basketball court on site.

Nice place to take kids... they have sand to play , climbers, swings, and small walking trails around a small pond... you can watch ducks and geese..

Very nice park. Nice playground, 2 pickleball courts and basketball court. Well clean and equipped public restrooms.
