After 30 years at another dental practice I moved to Dr Tapper's office for location convenience and because my wife is already a patient. I made an excellent choice. An all around professional and cordial/friendly environment. The hygienist Lauren is first class. At 65 yo it's nice to find a younger dentist who will take care of me for many years.

A compassionate, caring and exceptionally capable practice — from Lauren, my hygienist, to Tammy, the person behind the desk, to Dr. Tapper, himself. They are as skilled at putting their patients at ease as they are at dealing with my complex dental issues.

This was my first visit to Croasdaile Smiles! Dr. Tapper and his staff were wonderful! Tammy at the front desk was friendly, and professional. Lauren who cleaned my teeth was so kind, friendly and concerned about my comfort throughout. Dr. Tapper was also friendly, professional and eager to address any concerns I might have. Overall I am very pleased with their service and highly reccommend this practice!

I remember when Dr. Tapper first arrived in Durham and worked with Dr. Walker. When Dr. Walker retired, there was no doubt in my mind that I would stay on with him and his group. I have always been very pleased with his work and how he clearly explains any procedures that I have needed. He is truly professional, always keeps up to date with current techniques, and really cares for his patients. The office is always extremely clean and orderly. He and his staff treats everyone like they are family. I cannot imagine going anywhere else when I have the best of services right here.

Awesome experience at the dentist office yesterday!! I was in town visiting family when severe tooth pain occurred over a couple of days. Upon recommendation from a friend Dr. Tappers office worked me within an hour!! That itself was amazing - thank you my friend Linda. Entire staff were wonderful and so friendly. Sherry the dental assistant definitely made me feel comfortable and she explained everything she would be doing and was very thorough. Then when Dr. Tapper came in - just WOW!! I honestly have never had a dentist spend so much time with me and as an emergency work-in patient. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest, detailed in his exam and explanations and recommendations for addressing my issue. An hour or so later I departed and felt so confident that 1) I would start feeling better with meds prescribed and 2) that the resolution to my issue was appropriate and professionally accurate. I wish Dr. Tapper would move to my home town - LOL!!!! If you aren't absolutely blown away by your dentist and team, then you should really consider checking out Dr. Tapper and his team - I'm sure you'll switch dentists!!!

My Mom and I both see Dr. Tapper and we love him and his entire staff. They make you feel comfortable and they genuinely care about their patients.

A++! We are new to the area and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Tapper was recommended to us and we absolutely love the office and Dr. Tapper. Everyone is extremely friendly, goes out of their way to make you comfortable (especially during this time). Dr. Tapper spends a great deal of time explaining what he sees or what he feels needs to be done etc. Both my husband and I had a terrific experience and will continue to see Dr. Tapper!

The staff and Dr. Tapper are always friendly and courteous. They explain what they are doing and what you can expect. I was there today for my cleaning and, as always, Beverly does an excellent job. My husband and I have been going there for over 30 years and are very pleased with the care we have always received.

Dr. Tapper was recommended to me as the best dentist when I moved to Durham, North Carolina and I have seen him ever since over the last four years. Michael Tapper became my dentist over a decade ago when he joined the practice of my former (now-happily-retired) dentist. He and his team have consistently provided me expert care with thorough explanations of options and procedures. I am pleased to say that I can recommend him without reservation.

Dr.Tapper and his staff are an extremely knowledgeable, and professional group. You will be treated with courtesy and respect, from the front office, and by everyone in the clinic areas.Dr. Tapper and his assistants' demeanor's are very kind, calm, and soothing.His dental techniques are very modern, and the office is extremely clean. He answers all questions, and carefully explains every procedural step as he is working on you. Also another thing that impressed me is that costs are explained before the procedures, and I have never had "surprise" add on fees at check out.This is a warm, and caring office, and I highly recommend it!!!

I started seeing Dr. Tapper in 2012, by chance. I actually called to make an appointment with the dentist my entire husbands family used to see only to find out he had retired. It had been probably 7 years since my last dentist appointment in PA after a terrible experience, and haven't seen anyone since. I was in so much pain the fact that I didn't have dental insurance didn't matter. I love this office! Dr. Tapper was awesome. I love that when I go in and have to have any work done they let me put my headphones in and crank my music to drown out the drills, if they need me, they tap my shoulder. Tammy at the front is always super nice and asks about things other than your teeth and payment. The girls in the back are awesome! Beverly and Heather have both cleaned my teeth... both really nice and personable, also, not a painful cleaning. Sherry and Bethany have both assisted Dr. Tapper in my many appointments to fix things with my teeth and same thing, extremely nice and care how you are feeling during your appointment. I have recommended countless people to this office. The only place I will go!

Tammy, the office manager, was very helpful and pleasant. Beverly did the best cleaning I've ever had. She and Dr. Tapper communicated what they was doing and why. Both were very observant about my comfort level. I recommend their office for your dental care.

Dr. Tapper and his staff were wonderful. I broke my veneer and they quickly got me in and gave me a temporary and then did a beautiful job with the replacement. They filed my insurance and were wonderful about calling to check on me and remind me of my appointment. I even got my replacement done a day early. Really appreciate all they did to make me smile again.

I have been a patient at this dental practice for over 20 years. I hope this alone attests to what a great practice this is.

Dr. Tapper always takes the time to patiently explain what he is about to do which alleviates a lot of stress. He is very mindful about not causing any pain or discomfort. I always feel like I'm his number one priority.

A couple of years back on a Sunday I accidentally bit onto something hard and split a pre-molar. I called the emergency number thinking I'd be speaking with an on-call person but instead Dr. Tapper picked up the phone. He met me at his practice right away and took very good care of me. Later in the evening he called me at home to make sure I was doing okay. Just awesome.

His staff is equally as wonderful. My hygienist Beverly always does a great job and, along with Dr. Tapper's care, is one of the main reasons why I don't suffer with many dental problems. This practice will take very good care of you for a reasonable fee.
