Days Inn by Wyndham Durham/Near Duke University

Such a wonderful experience!! Everything was wonderful right from the start!! We had a very quick and friendly check in ( even really late at night) We got a king size bedroom and the moment we walked in you could tell the owners had completely renovated the room. Our refrigerator was so new the instruction manual was still inside! Our bathroom was incredible and the even added new hair dryers and supplied good toiletries! Our mattress was super comfortable!! Definitely will return since visit was in the winter. We are dying to use the well designed pool area with a freshly polished landscape! Really exceeded our expectations!!

The reason for my stay was due to my partner being sent to duke for medical reasons. I stayed in a hotel closer to the hospital the first night and it was so awful I packed my bags and left at 3am in the morning. When I arrived here, Camille was simply amazing. She was extremely helpful with anything I needed as small as getting coffee to making sure I had a breakfast bag and working with me on adding nights day by day due to not knowing how long my stay would be. She truly is an amazing employee. Her customer service skills are very helpful and knowledgeable and her demeanor is very welcoming and endearing. I could'nt of asked for a better place to stay due to her disposition through this hard time.

The sweet lady at the after hours desk was so kind. We had booked through Priceline, and they messed up our reservation. She held our room for us, explained the problem, and even talked with Priceline customer service for us. The room was clean and comfortable- not fancy, but perfectly fine for an overnight stay and with plenty of amenities. Overall we were really impressed and would stay again.

Staff was friendly during all points of our stay. Pool looked very clean. Housekeeping was wonderful(we only asked for TP). Rooms were immaculate. The near walk-in shower was beautiful(slight step). Thank y'all for being accommodating.

We are actually staying here this week. We've been here since Saturday night. The staff is Wonderful. So friendly. It's noticable that They've been updating the rooms. The shower Fixtures and paint in rooms is new. We're enjoying our stay. We are here with our grown daughter and there is enough room to not feel confined. It's pleasant and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are Awsome.

The beds are very comfortable. The room was renovated and had a decent decor. They have coffee machines, microwave, refrigerator, blow dyers, iron etc in the room. The breakfast had some amazing varieties like waffles, gravy, muffins, different kinds of cereals and much more. I strongly recommend this place.

Excellent modestly priced no-frills option for travelers and those looking to get away for some peace and quiet. Wonderful staff, well maintained rooms, and lovely pool area. Very good environment to get work done in.

We had a great stay. Very close to Duke where we travel for the AHC Clinic multiple times a year from AL. Our room had fresh paint and was very clean. There are some renovations done and some in progress. Everyone was super nice.
An added bonus is the taco truck right beside it- phenomenal food in walking distance!

Was looking for a clean affordable stay and got what I wanted. There was no moldy odor in the room and it was clean. The customer service was fast and friendly. The complementary breakfast is par for the course at a usual motel. Would stay here again if visiting Durham in the future. 5 mins drive from downtown.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. I was a bit skeptical after seeing some negative reviews about this hotel online. But they resolved all my doubts completely. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. We had one King room. The room had microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer etc. The bathrooms looked new. They also have free breakfast which was delicious. Please don't fall for the negative reviews, this place is truly amazing.

Hotel is hidden behind another hotel. Its courtyard and grounds were beautiful. Outdoor pool also.

We stayed here two nights and needed a place near Duke. The location was great as the school was easily accessible through Lyft or Uber. Room was clean and everything in it was as expected. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Will definitely stay again if we are in need of a place in Durham!

Convenient location close to I-85,downtown Durham, Duke hospital and Duke University.I enjoyed my stay at this reasonably priced hotel, room was clean,new furniture,great wifi and quiet location.I would return back when I come to Durham for business.

Returned back for business and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights.Both night stay was quiet,house keeping came in the morning and cleaned the room, stayed in for couple of hours to do some online work.
Management and front desk staff are helpful and friendly.

We always stay here when we visit durham to meet our daughter at Duke. We had a great stay this time since they had opened up their pool and the kids had a lot of fun. The staff is very helpful and sweet. We love it here. We came back last week and they have done lots of major renovations. The bathrooms look awesome. Keep it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel in the wake of hurricane Florence. The experience was very positive. The staff was very accomodating and I loved that the hotel was pet-friendly. The breakfast was also really good and the room was clean and inviting and the bed was so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs somewhere nice and accomodating to rest.

I have stayed at this Days Inn twice in the last month. I had a pleasant experience both times. Staff was very friendly and rooms were newly renovated and clean. 50 inch TVS and free high speed internet. Will stay here again whenever I am in Durham.

Had the best experience at this hotel, Starting with the front desk personnel, they were very helpful and polite directed me straight to my room without any issues. The room was remodeled very nicely! with new comfy king bed and a huge flat screen tv that had satellite with hundreds of channels, even HBO and Cinemax. The granite topped furniture and sink along with the pictures on the wall make the room even better. For the price I was not expecting this amazing room at all! And FREE breakfast in the morning with sausage gravy biscuits, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal and all kinds of other stuff. Coffee and juice of course. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to others and stay here again.

We stayed here this last weekend for the homecoming and the staff is awesome. The rooms are newly renovated and the breakfast was much better than other Days inn we have stayed in. Price was very reasonable and what else can we ask for. The is a taco truck and also a gas station on site. Made it very very helpful.

Ok,so if anyone has seen my reviews via hotels lately,they are all honest,im just transitioning into our new home hence the multiple hotels..lol..Days Inn was wonderful to both myself and children. Pool was a nice area for kids of all ages,breakfast was a great on the go for us all,and rooms were clean even though we were in a smoking room,it still didn't have that smell 👍 and pricing was decent,not the lowest in town but certainly not the highest yet I'll give 5 stars for overall outcome.

The rooms are spacious and clean with new bathrooms. They have hot continental breakfast in the morning. The WiFi speed is amazing. We had an amazing stay. Would be staying again.
