River Forest Park

It's a nice and relaxing place to sit during the day and through the week the feild is free to use for anything including sports and golfing and archery but usually on Saturday or Sunday a group plays cricket out there from 10am to 4pm usually

Nice play ground to play cricket and other sports. It is right next to the river and a has a nice picnic shed as well.

Nice location to have a drop-off to section the MST.

Plenty of free parking. I was greeting by a doe that stared me back and ran across the field. A well maintained shelter is at a few minutes walk. It is also the beginning of the River forest trail, lush and aromatic in fall.

Like pretty much all of Durham's public parks it is welcoming clean and well maintained. There is handicap parking and a paved path to the covered dining tables.

Great trials, I go to River forest cricket ground quite often to play my sports and i always make sure to visit the trial near by. It is so calm and they have couple of narrow bridges in the trial which is super awesome.

We took the Mountain to Sea Trail here and went on to Penny's Branch. Round trip took us about 2.5 hours. The trail system around the Eno River Rock!

Great little park tucked away between the much bigger West Point on the Eno and Old Farm park. Has a recently marked access point to get to the MST as well as a soccer field, pavilion and small playground.

Nothing too special. Nice small park to visit, not as much space as Old farm park across the river. However, great for keeping an eye on small children.

Cricket! There was a cricket match going on when I last visited! Who knew?! I didn't. Don't understand a single bit of it, but it was delightfully not boring!
