The food was good, but it wasn't hot and they weren't very busy so I didn't understandthat. The drinks were mixed well But other than that it was a good experience. Wonderful and friendly waitstaff, great atmosphere and a very beautiful view. The only thing that was missing was the sunset 🌇. I'd rate it a 9/10

I went there with my mom and my dog for lunch. It was not crowded and seems a bit slow. So, there were enough empty tables available on the balcony. The restaurant is dog friendly. We got a caesar salad, rainbow trout, and mahi mahi. All tasted perfect. I would say Mahi mahi was the best one. Our server was Cody who was really nice and took care of us and my dog. Immediately after we sat down he brought a cold water bowl for my dog and greeted us with cold drinks. He was very helpful in selecting our meals.
I highly recommend the place specifically with its perfect view.

I grew up in the area and have ate and drank here through out the years. I came back for a day trip to visit my mom and was so amazed how delicious this place was! Her friend said a new chef had been hired and the food is better than ever. So true; the food has been the absolute best. The drinks were delicious and refreshing! Give it a try!

Haven't been here in ages and have I been missing out! The food still tastes great and the staff is vibrant as they are helpful with the seats nearest the windows being the best you could have!

Lasting memories that will be timelessly captured as we sought the perfect place to get married. The event exceeded any expectation that could have been imagined. The staff complete with their very own planner, walked us through options that were offered. Very helpful and extremely patient as this day needed to be perfect. We were afforded an area to have the wedding outdoors in a beautiful courtyard overlooking the lake. We were then given an area to seat our guests to enjoy our meal together. The wait staff was attentive to our every need, we were left with no unfulfilled wants or desires. I would recommend anyone considering a venue for any event to allow the Dead Fish Grill to be the selection. 17 February 2023

Great food! We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. The food was full of flavor, came out to the table pretty quick and it was still HOT when it got to the table so we knew it was fresh. The food wasn’t overly expensive. & We even had a few drinks. Only thing is we sat outside for the water view but of course it was too dark to see. Will definitely be going back (but a bit earlier so we can actually see the water or watch the sun set).

We went here looking for quality southern comfort food. We found it, catfish was crispy, salty with great breading. We asked for fries well done, they were done well. Desserts left nothing to ne desired We at pecan pie and pudding. The waitress was kind. Food came quickly. One of the best views in this area on the lake.

Great food and great service!

It was really loud in the restaurant tonight. Had trouble talking to each other. Maybe because it was a Friday night and they had a DJ.

2 Fried Catfish and Shrimp Plate!
Very good.

Blackened Catfish and Shrimp with a side of salad! Good.

Ribeye Steak with Crab cakes! They were really good!

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries!
Very tasty.

1 lb. Shrimp Boil in Buttered Garlic.

Really good atmosphere, beautiful view indoor and out. I would recommend this place to anyone. if it's just a late lunch or a date it's a perfect spot for any outing. Fantastic food lots of flavor cooked to perfection. We only order a few small dishes but they did not disappoint. Will be going again to test more items.

Nice clean family place, kool country and contemporary music and the lake view is outstanding. The staff are friendly and good to talk too. A place to come and relax and enjoy a good time and good food 👍🏼

Went to Dead Fish Grill in Belton Texas with family and it was delicious. The view was spectacular over the lake. We had shrimp with grits and shrimp taco and both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered dessert which heaven. We would recommend to friends.

We had not been there in many years and made a great decision to visit. Our waitress was so friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her. Sat outside overlooking the nice lake. My hamburger was one of the best ever. We will be back soon .

Dead Fish is a wonderful establishment. There were able to accommodate us for a party of 10 while hosting several large parties and an event.

The waitress was magnificent, she was very friendly and accurate with food. They offer a wide variety of seafood and comfort food.

This place is awesome! Can be a little on the expensive side but good food? AND a beautiful view of the Belton Lake? Whats not to like?

Staff are warm and welcoming, and food is sent out fairly quickly. Overall great place to stop by if youre in the area!

The name through me off. I partly expected some Dive bar off the lake. This place was amazing. Food atmosphere service all awesome, well the free dessert for my wife's birthday was lack luster... but it was free. Definitely going back next time I am in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RESERVATIONS.

Came after church and brunch menu was being served. I’m not too big into brunch but my ribeye and eggs were very delicious and my wife enjoyed her crab cakes Benedict. I really enjoyed the live guitarist, really added to a great atmosphere. Dessert was also amazing!!😋

Absolutely loved it! Service was awesome. Our waiter Cody was fantastic, the food was amazing and I definitely recommend going if you're in the mood for some good seafood 😋

Brunch!!! Truly something for everybody on the menu, the food/drink selection is impressive. You CAN’T beat the Belton Lake views and it’s gorgeous inside. The space is bigger than it looks…explore the outdoor wing/patios.

Eating on the deck is always a great experience. The view is amazing. The food was hot and a nice portion. The creamed corn is a must. I took a friend there and she really liked it. Both of us will definitely go back.

Absolutely beautiful view on the lake while eating. My friends and I came here for Sunday brunch. The tables were spaced out nicely for social distancing. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The mimosas were some of the best I had and the food was just as good. We tried 4 different brunch meals and all of them were amazing, but the chicken and waffles was the best I've had anywhere. No wait and not too busy. Definitely recommend
