Beechnut Family Campground

Loved staying here. Quiet and peaceful. Our stay was pretty rainy, otherwise we would have enjoyed exploring the grounds. It's a beautiful place and so tranquil. Staff very accommodating in helping us reschedule our reservations when our plans changed unexpectedly.

We were so happy to find this nice quiet campground. Loved the atmosphere, clean bathrooms and showers and friendly hosts. They keep it nice by not allowing "party campers" to spoil the family fun. Would love to return when we could stay more than overnight. Thank you for the nice place!!

Quiet, peaceful campground. The owners are so friendly and nice. We camped on the side of the bottom pond and our great granddaughter had a blast fishing! She also loved the bounce pad. We plan on returning if we can get a spot!

Beautiful campground and RV resort! Price is a little steep but the owner (Todd) was more then willing to give us a slight discount since we didn't use sewage. Also some of the fun stuff for the kiddos were closed temporarily. Sad, But my son still enjoyed the ponds and bounce pillow! Our first night here my 9 year old had a bad experience with some mean kids trying to get him into trouble by asking him to spell cuss words (which taught him a valuable lesson not to succumb to peer pressure) and then instantly told on him. Minor issue since he didn't see those kids again the next day and didn't have anymore issues. The second day we were here he said it was the funnest he's had our whole road trip. Tons of other nice kids to play with. Neighbors were super friendly too. Showers and bathrooms weren't bad for the men's but my mom and my wife both said the women's bathroom could use some feminine touches. Overall, would recommend this beautiful spot to anyone who is a Christian looking for a peaceful place to stop. Also we enjoyed the snack bar the Jumping Bean although I would have just called it a coffee shop since they didn't have many snacks. But the ice cream and iced coffee for the wife was a hit. Also FYI they charge extra if your kids want to play on the bounce pillow but it's worth it to see them happy. Again would recommend 10/10
And last, this resort is super close to the town of Mayberry from the Andy Griffith show! Which was a nice surprise we weren't expecting! Also if you like sushi check out kazoku! Amazing all around experience!

We LOVE this place! We came for a weekend and ending up leaving our camper for the entire season and we plan to be back next year too!! So family friendly and peaceful!

I was attending my grandson's graduation party My son, his wife, & kids were camping there also, so I visited w them too. We had a very peaceful day. 👍Great place to relax.

The owners were great! And the people camping there were the nicest people I have met... This was our first time camping, with a camper. The camp ground is quiet clean and very well kept. I could only imagine the work it takes to just now the grass there

Wonderful owner! Very kind easy to talk to and helps when he can! The place is beautiful semi secluded but with 10 minutes of a good sized town. Three lakes, wonderful shade trees, two pools, lots of land, and beautiful scenery.

This was our frist time camping and I have to say. We loved this place. All I wanted to do was go back to the camp. The owner helped us late at night to get into our spot.. it was clean and I felt safe. Very quiet. The owners were wonderful so much so that our cell phone wasnt ready to come home and they mailed it back to us. Get place and we will be back...

Other than the overbearing Christian music perpetually playing it's a great 3 segment pool. $7 for adults over 5 years old, which is a hair steep, today there are 2 lifeguards on duty, beautiful open scenery with a nice breeze, and a beautiful young woman at the snack bar to top it off. But that music...

Love this place! This is a fantastic campground when you need a stopping point to get the kids out of the vehicle to play and get the restless energy out on a long trip. Super nice folks to deal with too! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

From WI driving to SC needing to find a place to stay on a Friday night after 8pm. They answered the phone and we were there right quick. FRIENDLY, CLEAN & VERY QUIET. Thank you sir we will be back!

best place to camp!! Todd and Trisha, the owners, run a quiet, peaceful, clean family camping spot with 3 pools, horseshoes, zip line, basketball, fishing ponds, campfire rings and so much more! Something for the whole family! They even have Sunday morning worship service..... Attend in your shorts n flip flops!

We only been here a day. But this place is so wonderful. The fellow we deal with is a very nice gentlemen. This place is not for the partying crowd.
