JUST SAW THE "DEL RIOS" PART..DUNNO IF PAT CHANGED THE NAME- I ONLY KNOW IT AS LA CASITA- ON EAST 4TH STREET! The late Rachel Perez originally owned this restaurant. I believe pat now owns it (hi pat). My mother,(SANDY TORRES) sister CINDY(LINDENMUTH )and even I (KIP)a time or two found myself washing dishes. This food is what I compare EVERY SINGLE RESTRAINT/MEXICAN FOOD BY! I was a traveling seasonal sous chef for cool works and along with military service I've traveled and lived in over 18 states(several cities in some of those states) as well as three different countries (Mexico, rota spain,Okinawa japan,siganella italy)..so ive been around and had the opportunity to visit MANY mexican/Latin restaurants.
Without question the best! I've only found one other restaurant that offered DEEP FRIED FLOUR TACOS here in medford Oregon....(they no longer do). Nor have I ever found another that makes their mole' like rachels..it took me over 30 yrs to reverse engineer it. I'm an early retired sous chef..so I know what I'm talking about. IF YOU EVER GET TO NORTH PLATTE OR PASS THROUGH ON I-80 YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO DETOUR/VISIT THE LA CASITA. BEST ON THE PLANET! THATS A BIG STATEMENT AND I STAND BY IT! KIP TORRES

Really good place to eat my husband took me on multiple dates here. And they even have good choices for kids. Definitely recommended.

The food was very good. We had the all you can eat tacos on Thursday. It was reasonably priced. There were not enough servers.

Great food, service is top notch and you can always know you'll be full when you're done eating. I know I'll be back time and time again, thanks for being there for North Platte to enjoy.

Great service! Our server Sara remembers us from prior visits, is friendly and patient with our children, and always gets our orders correct. Portions are HUGE and drink specials are always available. Great food! Be sure to try the chips with gravy. Yum!

I had combo dinner # 2 with a pork enchilada smothered in green sauce and a beef and bean tostada. I ate my fill and had a to go box full when I left . I highly recommend asking for their hot salsa if you can stand the heat.

Good was good, servers were pretty busy keeping up with all the orders. Could of used another person for that particular time.

Absolutely awesome food! Portions are decent, flavor is great. Nothing but amazing. This is our new Mexican food fix in North Platte.

Always good. We come here at least once a month from over an hour away. The chips and gravy(yes I said gravy)are worth the trip alone!

The absolute best Mexican restaurant. I have never received bad service and my food is always perfect. Their always accommodating when I have team dinners there also!

The salsa was really unique, the chips were warm, and the burritos were solid. The rice was unique--it tasted like bacon grease.

Delicious, every time. I have been eating this food since I was a small child, and I am 56 yrs old. Good people, good food. You can't beat it!!

The original place to get authentic Mexican food in North Platte!! Accept no substitutes. This is not your normal mexican/american place. This is real. It is authentic, and if you are on here looking for where to go for Mexican food, look no farther. This is what you came for.
