Amazing food! Perfect place for a party!!! We have had many trips here and the food has always been good- but the new menu is even better! Chef Alec has stepped it up a notch with his new creations! (A le courdon blue trained chef by the way!) The scallops were some of the best I have EVER HAD in my life! Perfectly cooked, delicious. Our steaks were awesome- tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was great- friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is comfy and inviting. You can reserve two different rooms for large gatherings or parties which is nice too. North Platte is so fortunate to have this restaurant- do not hesitate to check it out!!!

Our meals were good. I had fish cakes. Ya'll need some tartar sauce - homemade would be best but the jar is better than nothing. Sister thought pizza was a little weird, could've been better for sure. Overall we liked the place.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Food tasted great. We went for lunch and it was a little cold inside but other than that it was comfy and the decor was interesting. The tortilla soup was different than any we have had in the past, nice and thick, so that was a treat as well!

Switchyard is a must visit place when coming to North Platte. The Trainwreck Pasta with chicken was fantastic, and the staff was friendly.

Had not been to the Switchyard in a while... was NOT disappointed. They changed up their menu and did some reconfiguration of the restaurant. All great changes. I had the New York Strip and was excellent. Quality meat, cooked perfectly, plated well. Will be back!

Unexpectedly excellent! Just passing through Northe Platte heading west looking for a good sit down (non chain) place and happened upon Switchyard. Food was excellent and the kind of excellent you find in the big city. I had a NY strip that was cooked to perfection. I should add that we arrived about 45 mins before close so I was expecting end of shift issues but had none. All was good (including desert)

Heard a lot of negative reviews when this place 1st opened - decided to wait until they got the bugs worked out. Trust me, the issues are gone!! The food was superb, priced right & our waiter knew his stuff & was extremely patient with the table next to us (ridiculously picky eater! 🙄). We are definitely going back & spreading the good word!

Found the Switchyard by accident and decided to try it. Service was very good. Had a whiskey but noticed that they had a small but very, very good quality wine selection. We had the chicken fried steak and the Trainwreck pasta for dinner. Both were above what we expected. We will definitely come.back next time we come thru town. Definitely a good dinner option for the I-80 traveler.

Very very cool place, Its haunted, which I think is so neat! I had 2 things happen to we while I was there both of which were witnessed by others! The ghost hunters went to the wrong building for sure
The food was top of the line! The servers were all so nice and I enjoyed good conversation with them. Its nice to know theres still good quality family resturants out there with good quality employees!

My wife and I really enjoy their prime rib. This time when we were there the special was "Blackened Prime Rib", so we both tried it. My wife is alergic to garlic. The blackened prime was loaded with garlic so badly we could smell it immediately. They happily replaced it with their regular prime rib. However it also had a very strong rub put on it in the blackening process. I am not fond of sage, which I believe was one of the rubs main ingredients. It was okay but I know that we will be sticking with their regular prime rib from now on. I was pleased with how they handled the situation. Good work.

Needed a good meal as I had been on the road a long time. These guys are doing it right. Had a great meal and visited with the owners for a bit. Will definitely be back on the next trip through Nebraska!

This place has great service and quality food. It's a little expensive, but not way out there. The decor is neat and there is plenty of seating even for higher peak times.

Very delicious food and excellent service. We have had a few birthday parties here that have gone over really well. This place is a great addition to North Platte!

Had Valentine's dinner. Service was great and friendly. Salad fresh and crisp. Steaks were correctly cooked as ordered. Great experience for never being there before.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was classic and fitting for a more upscale restaurant in North Platte. The service, employees, and drinks were a highlight. The menu was created well, and the price was right.

They switchyard is amazing. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get! Would rather come here for a nice sit down dinner then a "chain" sit down place. Just do yourself a favor and go here the next time you go out.

Food was delicious and a great verity, something desperately needed in North Platte. service was great, owners so friendly and helpful. What a delightful place to eat!!

OMG have never had a steak that tender. Fabulous flavor & littlerly melts in your mouth. Fantastic!!! Worth every penny. Will be back!!
