It's never easy to plan a funeral or lose someone. I lost my mom and I have to say that Honquest is very patient and efficient. They helped me with everything! They are tactful in dealing with any issues that may arise. Very classy and I am glad I chose this funeral home because my mom deserved the best!

Honquest took great care of all three of my family members. Two of the services were at the Loves Park location and one was at Roscoe; both places were well kept and peaceful. The staff members were kind and gentle throughout the whole process. Thank you to everyone that took care of us.

Our family wants to thank Honquest Family Funeral Home, especially the Director Dana Potter for the gentleness you showed to our mother when you came to our home to take her into your care. Honquest made it very easy, yet meaningful. They really listen and understood every need and want. There was never a moment of worry for our family. From start to finish, Mr. Tim Honquest was the most professional, respectful, and compassionate funeral home director that I have ever met in my life. His style is exactly what my family and I needed during the absolute worst days for our family. I had just unexpectedly lost my partner, and I don't think I could have got through planning the arrangements if not for the knowledge and expertise of Mr. Honquest. I won't name names, but I have experienced terrible, tactless, and greedy service from other local funeral homes in the past. I saw the complete opposite of this at Honquest Funeral Home, where when possible they offered suggestions on how to make things more affordable, versus more expensive. The bill was extremely reasonable for the caliber that was delivered the day of the funeral. It is hard to say that a funeral service was "beautiful", but really that is what my partner's service was with how exceptional everything was arranged, to how smoothly everything went, to the aesthetics of the room where the funeral took place. I would 100% recommend this funeral home by far compared to others in the area that I have used. Not only was Mr. Honquest a pleasure to work with, but the officer workers and other employees at the funeral home had the best attitudes, superior knowledge, and were able to make just about any request a reality. She really took the time to answer all of our questions and ease some of the pain of planning a funeral. Dana made what was a very difficult time a little less difficult. Couldn’t have done this without her.

Was there for wake and the staff was so welcoming and kind. Honestly made the night very comfortable. It’s important when someone takes the time to give a genuine hello, especially on a tough day. Ashia Kolodziej took good care of me when my father died back in May of 2022. She was patient, kind, attentive, and understanding. All of my questions and needs were met in a timely manner. Everyone else who I either spoke with on the phone or in-person were very kind as well. I would recommend using their services.

We chose Honquest for our sons funeral because it had all services in one place. We had never had to do anything like this before so had no idea what to expect. From our first initial meeting with Melissa to the ending of the service and after they showed nothing but compassion and caring. We had a huge turnout and they handled everything amazingly well..standing room only. We thank Melissa and Harold for that. Much appreciation for everything! It was beautiful.
