Chattanooga Marriott Downtown

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. As a Marriott member this hotel is top notch. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and the staff are absolutely wonderful. You can tell they truly enjoy being at their place of employment and it shows in the services they provide. We really enjoyed the breakfast and our waitress went above and beyond! They even gave us to-go coffees and the attention to detail was superb!

Service was exceptional! We didn’t check in until later in the evening & were promptly greeted by a friendly set of front desk team members. I mentioned we forgot a toothbrush during the check in process and we forgot to grab it,)our fault). By the time, we got to our room they had already had someone up on their way to the room to give us a new one. Above and beyond. The rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. We left fairly early in the am, and same exceptional customer at front desk and the rest of the staff! It’s so refreshing to be around happy employees, it definitely rubs off on the guests attitude in a positive way. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back.

My hope in hospitality has been restored! I visited this hotel for some time away to reflect, breate and write. Upon arrival, I was beyond impressed by Ryan the valet attendant. He was so kind and helpful. My room was not only ready, but a thoughtful treat was waiting for me as a gift from Hannah O. I slept very well and the comfortable bed and was blown away again the next morning by the Barista Pam. She made a perfect caramel latte. I'm so glad I stayed in this hotel for my personal focus retreat and I can't wait to return.

Very friendly staff. Front office manager Dale Daniel went above and beyond. M Club staff were nice and helpful. Coffee machine was broken, and evening snacks were just ok, but those are trivial issues. All and all I would recommend this hotel, and will definitely be back!

Extremely hospitable staff, and very clean rooms. Beds are soft and comfy for a solid night's sleep. Really couldn't hear any activities in the rooms surrounding ours. So it made for a very quiet pleasant stay. Absolutely loved the rooftop saltwater pool. The only thing that makes this hotel a four out of five star establishment was the bathroom door. It's on a sliding track that opens the bathroom while closing the closet. The door was completely broken off track. Its extremely heavy and really took a lot of effort to adjust it into the middle of the track. Just so we could have access to the closet, and bathroom. The mounting piece was completely broke off, and would have been quite obvious to the maintenance, and cleaning staff prior to our stay. Which tells me that they ignored this while being completely aware of the issue prior to our stay. However I still would highly recommend this hotel.

Went to a convention here and everything was amazing. We stayed on the 14th floor and got a great view. The service was excellent and so was the restaurant. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond expectations for our needs.

Extremely high quality. Staff service is superb. Hotel was extremely good to work with in planning the three day weekend event with over 250 attendees and rooms booked.

Rooms have been renovated and they have a great M Club. Good bar and food as well. One of the best Marriotts I've been in.

This location is very special has a boutique luxury feel and let me not forget the service Mgt & very professional bartender ‘Lilly’.

The food is truly amazing had one of the best red snapper meals ever!

I would highly recommend this property if your looking for a nice upscale hotel in Chattanooga.

We visited the Chattanooga area during the July 4th holiday week. We expected a crowd and there was a small one during the weekend. As the week went on the crowd thinned out but the service never diminished.

Every person we interacted with was impeccable and always went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

We originally booked on a 3rd party site that sent the reservation in incorrectly. The hotel staff quickly found the error corrected it and made sure we were comfortable and not inconvenienced as they corrected the error.

The pool was awesome and so was the service at the pool. The fitness center was well-equipped and the hotel was spotless at every turn. We will use this hotel again.

The only reason I’m giving this a four average is the carpet needs replacing really bad. Front desk great. Bar great. A Marriott that actually validates parking, awesome! Restaurant great. Service all around great. Rooms are great. They need to get on the carpet bad!! Stains and wrinkles.

This hotel is super nice and is located in the heart of downtown with access to many restaurants. The hotel was recently renovated and I stayed on one of the renovated floors. There’s a parking garage connected directly to the hotel which is super convenient. The roof top pool and outdoor area is also nice and looks exactly like the pictures. I would definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I’m in Chattanooga.

I loved staying here. I visited Peet's coffee shop quite a bit and was very impressed with Pam. She was super friendly and did not make anyone feel rushed while trying to decide what to order.

This was a regular stop for my family years ago. We were both Federal employees, and parked there for safety. The vehicles were always safe, and we always received great customer service from the parking attendant . The food was delicious 😋, and was a buffet style back then.They have other options, with the same good quality. We were always treated with great respect. The rooms were provided to us at a government discount rate. We didn't ask it was complementary for us providing a regular service. I'm not sure if you can get the same rate today. Please ask ? They do honor certain discounts. They are one of a few Hotels, that will recognize such discounts.
Shout-out 🗣. They are also connected to the Trade Center which hosts several hundreds of religious, musical 🎵, car 🚗 shows, real estate seminars, house 🏠 remodeling, and boat 🚢 shows annually. Last but not least, the Iron Man 💪 participating athletes stay here along with the others. They definitely have to be on top of their game. It's stays busy , so book your room in advance. Stayed her during a convention at the adjoining Chattanooga Convention Center. The hotel was super convenient, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were exactly what you expect from a Marriott, spacious and clean. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. Only negative was inconsistent housekeeping schedules. As we were sometimes in the room during the morning, we missed the service a couple of times, but were able to get towels delivered. The bar was well stocked and the food offerings were very sufficient for our needs. I of course had a club, which was grilled but still good (I am a purist on the bread being toasted). The hotel is right on the free shuttle route so super convenient to all the fun stuff in town. Definitely another reason Chattanooga has become my new favorite mid south city!

I am writing this review to express my gratitude towards several of your employees’ (Jenny, Polo, Chele, Mama Trice). The entire team is extraordinary and extremely knowledgeable regarding the hospitality industry. They took the time to answer all my questions and assisted me in every way possible. Polo updated me on every step of the process(explaining the food choices and making recommendations) and he always ensured that I had everything I needed. The food fresh, tasteful and the presentation was elegant. The room was clean and fresh, bed was comfortable and the room amenities were excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

Their communication and customer service skills are superior and second to none. I truly admire their professionalism, commitment, and the pride that was demonstrated in the performance of their duties. I have resided at several Marriott’s across the country via my travels and by far this is the best experience and service that I have ever received. They set the bar high, and I challenge them personally to continue performing at a level that exhibits greatness and impeccability.
