The open fishing pier at Rolling View is such a great place to throw in a line, catch a fish, and pass a few pleasant hours.

Nice relaxing place to fish and enjoy the birds singing, meet new friends, and even enjoy the beauty of a sunset!

The Rangers and staff are so friendly and informative, from the gate to the folks patrolling. My wife and I really enjoy this neat little spot to unwind and kick back a spell!

We stayed in loop b. Beautiful campsites, lots of space between each one. Fire pit and picnic table at each site

Beautiful, newly renovated park.,
Lots of space between sites.

Most sites are full shade except a few in loop B 48 and up are on an open hill near the playground.

Clean facilities and well maintained utilities and services.

My husband and I stayed at B15, which is a nice spacious and shady site. There was ample room for our camper, truck, and bicycles.
The campground is quiet and well maintained. There was a good ranger presence throughout our stay.

1st time camping at this Loop (C) & really liked everything about it. Spacious site, nice view of lake, the grandkids loved the loop so they could scooter around it with ease. Bathroom stalls need door handles fixed please

One of the best locations in Wake County to escape from the city! Come to this location to fish, camp, and have a picnic or grill out. This place also makes a fantastic photo spot! This location has sheltered picnic areas with grills in each one. Generally they are first come, first serve, so if you have an event or large group of people, you can call the park to reserve a spot for a fee.

Wonderful stay at this campground! The sites are spacious and wooded. The bath house was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed two nights and spent time in Durham and it was a close and easy drive. We will definitly be back to camp here again!

I went to Rolling View with a group for a retreat. The Community House is set up well with a good kitchen, clean restrooms, and lots of chairs and tables. It has a large porch for outside activities, even in the rain. The view of the lake is a plus. It is far enough from the beach that it is not a problem except for parking, so arrive early.

Camped at site B50.
Thick pine tree canopy prevents any Starlink reception.
The drive is gravel as are most sites on this side of the main "B" loop.

It is close to the bath house and a couple of trails I haven't hiked yet.

Rented shelter 13 for a birthday party. The shelter was great and clean with working power outlets and everything well maintained. The swim area was wonderful and very child friendly. Fantastic day at falls lake.

The campground and amenities were clean and stocked and we enjoyed our multi level site. The staff were also timely and helpful in responding to emails I sent with questions the week prior to our reservation. The only negative is that at no time during our 3 night stay was there any staff at the guard shack/entrance/camper registration station place. We arrived after hours and followed the posted directions which said to setup camp and return to the entrance next morning to register your site and get your vehicle tag. We went to the station to register and also buy firewood 3 times that day starting at 8am and it was never staffed. Checked several times the following day. Nobody there. On the second day, staff tracked us down at the fishing pier and asked who we were, what site we were in and why we hadn't registered. We told him nobody was ever there and he said something about somebody had come in late. But he gave us our tag and we were left alone the rest of our stay. However, we were in and out of the park several times a day each day and not once did we see it staffed and we never were able to buy firewood.

Camp here every year, several times a year. It's lake side and has plenty of campsites open year-round. Currently in a site and having Thanksgiving in it, so far everything is going great and their playground helps take care of the kids while the adults can enjoy some peace.

Well maintained campground featuring sites with electric and water or water only. Bath/ shower houses scattered throughout. Level campsites with fire pits and some handicap accessible. The bathhouse I visited was clean and warm on a cold March evening. Gate employee was friendly and very helpful.

In the months of March and April it's a great time to visit. The Park is open for free during this time and there's not a whole lot of activity. At the end of The rolling view camp point it's a great place to watch the sunset incredible views on clear days check out the photos. But I do caution you that you need mosquito repellent because the mosquitoes are out in full force. Lots of ducks, geese, seagulls, and deer can be seen while hiking around the area. Check in at the ranger house and pick up a map. Their are 2 fishing piers and 2 boat ramps & 1 Marina. There are 105 campsites, 70 with water & electric and 35 primative. Additional 4 group campsites and 2 of the 70 water & electric sites can hold duplex. Enjoy! It is a great place to go.
