I had a great experience here. Not only was the store organized and filled with quality brands, the customer service was fantastic. Check out was delightful with the gentleman who helped me and when I realized (over an hour later) that I left my purse they, he already had it safely stored for my return.
My trip to Blue Ridge could’ve gone south very quickly, but he saved it for me. Thank you!

Pleasantly surprised at how well stocked this store is with high quality brands. I really enjoyed browsing the store and picking up a few items off the 50% off rack which were excellent deals. The salesman was very friendly. I am from Ellijay and will visit frequently!

Great customer service experience here with Bryan. Explained to me the features of my new jacket I was purchasing and even helped to patch my other Patagonia jacket I was wearing that I recently put a small hole in. The store was also very well organized and clean!

Despite the negative reviews, my wife and I from Middle GA went on a weekend trip to Murphy, NC while there I wanted to surprise her with some shoes and since Blue Ridge wasn’t far we went there. When she decided on the shoes she wanted I asked for some her size to try on, the lady behind the counter was VERY friendly (I think her name was Linda) she acted like we were best friends, laughing and joking when I walked up wanting a pair also. The atmosphere there was so nice that on our way home we stopped again to look around more because we were on a time crush the first time. I highly recommend coming here!

Lots and lots of nice gear here. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Many name brands and choices within to choose from. Prices were a little up there but in line for the area main drag location for which it sits. Great ambiance. If your walking the town, it’s a nice store to stop and shop.

From fl and have not had much luck catching trout on fly in the past. The guy at the counter spent time to tell us some spots and even look up on tva when the flows would be ideal in different parts of the river. Ended up catching quite a few browns and a couple rainbows. The extra time he spent really made a big impact on out trip. Will shop again next time we're in blueridge!

Went to the Mccaysville store on Sunday and the owner was there and let us in even though it was supposed to the closed. She was very kind and helpful. Then went to Blue Ridge store the next day and saw her again. She remembered us and was kind to my kid and asked where my other kid was. Really made us feel special. Great little store that had a nice selection. Love supporting places like this.

I stopped in for a visit while on a hiking trip in the area recently. I have hiked all over the country and I love to visit outdoor outfitters. This store has an excllent selection of quality gear and the employee and I had a great conversation that was only cut short because I needed to get going. The App Trail is not too far away from Blue Ridge and you can definitely find what you need for a day hike or a longer hike here. Great store and friendly staff! I will be back in Blue Ridge soon and I will stop in for a visit!

My Fiancé and I shopped this location and really enjoyed it! We overheard the manager of the store trying to truly lead an associate in such a nice and caring way. The selection is great on all their products and we will likely go back before we leave this weekend.

This store is great! The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. I was there on a Saturday and they were super busy. One of the male staff members was super personable and offered to help us. I was looking for a pair of shoes, but they were out of my size. We ended up buying 2 hats. They are handicapped accessible and have a 2 sided stoew with 2 wnteances. One sidenis gor the guude swrbicea the other is moe rerial.

I was shocked at the former reviews! Our experience on Sunday and Monday ~ so great we went two days in a row ~ couldn’t have been better. Young guy on Sunday (Joe?) SUPER friendly, fun and very helpful. Bought a shirt for my husband that day. Went back on Monday to purchase a fleece for myself. Linda, the owner, I’m told, was extremely friendly, so very nice, as she was talking to another customer and me. This store carries high quality merchandise and the staff is great. I had to call today because somewhere along the way my husband lost his sunglasses so we were retracing all our steps. Didn’t find them but when I called this store the girl who answered was great, too. Wish I would have gotten her name so I could have mentioned her by name also. Love this store. Thanks to all!

BRMO has the best selection of high end hiking and lounge wear. We did a ton of Christmas shopping for our teen age kids here. The staff were smiling and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Blue Ridge Mountain Outfitters is my favorite stop before any hiking trip I take. They have an extensive selection of quality brands; I have never had any trouble finding what I am looking for. The staff is super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I always feel welcomed and taken care of when I am here. I can’t thank BRMO enough for all their help getting me geared up to get out through the pandemic!! I will be back soon.

I have lived in Blue Rodge since 2003 and have enjoyed watching this business grow year to year. Always great inventory of high quality outfitter gear and they always seem to have my size in stock. Most recently, they have brought in new staff that is taking the biz to new heights. Great store. Great staff. Great asset to downtown Blue Ridge.

We have been visiting Blue Ridge for many years and Blue Ridge Mountain Outfitter is always one of our first stops. They have a great selection of quality apparel and gear. The staff is so friendly and they always make us feel right at home.

Great shopping experience. We not only found what we wanted but also got some friendly advice on "easy hikes " for our family. The product assortment was on point, although a little pricey but warranted based on the quality. The shop's owner or manager fit the mold for someone who has actually experienced many of the adventures folks shop here for.

Note :Many of the negative reviews here seem to be contributed by people above never worked in retail and can't appreciate the nuances that privately owned shops can offer. It's not REI, but it's not supposed to be .

I recently ordered a Patagonia pullover. Lindy confirmed it was in stock for me & she made sure it was inspected before it was promptly shipped out next day! I can’t speak for in store experience, but I’d gladly order from them online. My pullover is wonderful! I received great service too!

From the first second we walked in, The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. We noticed there was a no food or drink sign on the front door, so we asked our son to wait outside with his drink.

The selection was great for a small store (smaller than REI:). We found exactly what we were looking for and the gentleman working answered all of our questions.

We came back and purchased another Patagonia wind breaker, because we were so happy with the first one!

Good shop with nice/friendly service.

Stopped in to look at some new hiking shoes. Was trying on some and a staff member stoped to assist. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but she had short hair and was also working the desk. She obviously spends a lot of time on the local trails because she was a wealth of knowledge. She not only knew the trails but everything about the shoes. She knew brands and the benefits and fit of each. This did not come off as a sales pitch but as one hiker talking to another. At the end she said above all the fit must be good, if you are not sure do not buy it!!!! She wasn’t trying to make a sale, she was making a customer. We come back four to five times a year and will always stop in. Not the cheapest but great service. Thinking of relocating and this will be our outfitter shop!!!!

I came to Blue Ridge for a little vacation but got cold so I bought the most adorable beanie that my husband and I now share because we are both so obsessed with it. Bryan the manager was so helpful in explaining to me all the jackets, and reasons why one jacket is for one weather etc. Great vibes in the store and good prices.
