We recently purchased a bed at Mattress Barn in Cocoa, FL. We visited the store 3 times and each time were greeted by their friendly staff who helped us find just what we were looking for. Each issue regarding our bed delivery has been met with kindness, professionalism, and wonderful customer care. We would highly recommend this location.

EDIT: Reduced to 1 star, terrible post-sale experience.

After a week with our new mattress, we did not like it at all. We needed this new mattress to alleviate some back issues, and this new mattress was making things worse. It felt nothing like the floor model that we loved. One of the selling points was a year long return policy, so we decided to take them up on that.

We went back to the store and let Joe know. We picked out a new mattress and arranged for it to be delivered and the old picked up and returned. Now, the new mattress we picked out was more expensive than the old one, but Joe told us it would be a wash. We even offered to pay for the difference, but he reassured us it would be worked out. He asked us to send a photo of the old label, which we did. We never received a receipt for the new mattress, even after asking for it via phone calls and texts.

A few days later he dropped the new mattress and box spring off, and told us to get rid of the old mattress ourselves, which we did. He still did not have a receipt for us for the 10-year warranty for the new mattress, but told us it was coming.

The new mattress ended up working great for a while, but we noticed it was sagging in a few spots, which looked like a warranty issue. No big deal, we'll call up the manufacturer and have them handle it, but, they needed the proof of purchase that we were never given.

So, we call the store back and a new person answers and informs us that Joe was no longer an employee, and to come in and talk to them in person regarding this sale.

We went up and were told that Joe had been defrauding the company on multiple sales, and that ours was his last sale. We asked about getting some sort of proof of purchase, but were informed that they would need to speak with the owner, and have since not heard back.

While we understand and empathize with the company that they, in their words, were just as much a victim in this situation as we were, we just needed a proof of purchase to move forward with the warranty claim. It's immaterial to us the inner workings of their business, and frankly shouldn't be a concern for us, but here we are. Joe, before he was let go, was acting as the manager of that store.

This whole situation left us feeling very uncomfortable with this transaction, and given how we've been treated on the back-end, we felt the need to let others know before they plan to do business here.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Mattress Barn at this location. Joe, the manager, fielded a million questions from us while watching patiently as we laid and tossed and turned on basically every mattress in the building, and helped us finally settle on the perfect mattress for us. He even came out personally to our home and picked up and disposed of our old mattress when he didn't have other availability from his usual delivery crew.

5/5, would definitely recommend if you're in the market. Thanks again Joe!
