I can’t say enough about how sweet this place is. First the rooms are bigger than expected and very clean. They have a fantastic cleaning crew and I noticed that they go as far as moving all furniture off the floor to clean the floors. The beds are so soft and they use quality linens.
The lobby feels like a mountain lodge and they offer complimentary wines or beer in the evening. I think the best part was the grounds and pool. As our family walked around and noticed other hotels none compare to the pool area Station House has! The location could not be better as you are in walking distance to the lake and the shops. Don’t forget to ask for your discount voucher and pool towels. It was so refreshing not to have a commercial feel with this hotel, it felt warm and friendly!

We came here for a team get together bringing a remote work team together. We all had such a great experience at the hotel. The staff was so accommodating and easy to work with to do the booking.

The rooms were nice with comfy beds. The property its self is in a great spot, close to everything, but not next to the major road to get traffic noise. There are great out door seating arrangements to enjoy the nice weather.

Myself and all the team members loved our stay and I would absolutely come back and stay with the station house again.

5-Stars across the board!

This is not a high rise 5 star hotel. Understand that you don’t get the best view, you don’t get daily housekeeping, you don’t get laundry services, and the room doesn’t come with personal needs. Make sure you bring your own hygiene stuff which I always do so I can’t complain at all.

Regardless, this place is really nice. Jessica and Tito are very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The lobby is such a vibe. There’s a pool, a hot tub, fire pits, a lot of places to chill around the property. The room is simple and rustic. Bed is very comfortable. This place is pet friendly. It also has a lot of parking spaces.

Only thing I could wish for is that the lobby stays open until 1 or 2 am so people could chill and stay longer inside.

Overall, if you just want a home away from home and you don’t need anyone to come to your door and serve you, this is the place. This place is better than the big hotels in the area. That of course is subjective. I don’t need anything fancy and loud so this place is perfect for me.

Excellent value! This hotel has a super cool vibe, a central location, and clean rooms - what more could you ask for? We enjoyed the fire pit, the happy hour and the other cool outdoor areas. The restaurant was good too!

This hotel has a nice restaurant on site where we enjoyed a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and a couple hors d'oeuvre.

The hotel has a wine/beer reception in the evening for its guests. The lobby is cozy and cute. They provide games if that is something you enjoy. Also, complimentary coffee and tea.

Our room was decorated super cute, and was comfortable.

This is a pet friendly hotel which is located in a nice area to walk the dog.

I set up a room block and hosted a 40th birthday party at Station House Inn and it was by far the best experience I have had in South Lake Tahoe thanks to Marci Elizondo and the other wonderful staff. Marci went above and beyond in helping me plan and coordinate a welcome reception in the beautiful courtyard. The property was clean, cute, and in the best location (5 minute walk to the beach, casinos, hikes, and heavenly village). All 23 guests could not stop complimenting the accommodations and service provided by Station House Inn - we didn't want to leave! Will absolutely be back.

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel because we love it. Great location, right next to stores, restaurants and the main avenue. As for the people at reception, they're relatively friendly, depending on who you run into ahah. The rooms are well decorated, rather spacious and very cosy. The bedding is incredible, without exaggerating, it's the best bed I've ever slept in, it's so soft! There's a very pleasant outdoor area with a heated pool and Jacuzzi, as well as sunbeds, fires, a really cosy space.
The only negative point is that they don't offer room service. For a 1 or 2-night stay, I wouldn't mind, but I think it would be interesting if they offered room service for longer stays (we stayed 5 nights and it's a bit of a shame not to have new towels, for example, or a little clean).

This is my third time staying at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hot tub has reopened which is fantastic, and the restaurant next door is my favorite in the Tahoe basin. The rooms/decor throughout the property are SO cute - the design is truly top notch and make the stay so enjoyable. The location can’t be beat, you can walk to shows, the beach, breweries, etc - highly recommend!

Great place. The service is exceptional! The restaurant Touloose had incredible food with a staff that mirrored it! Location perfect. Walk ti the lake and walk to Harvey's or any brewery. Highly recommend!

Perfect place! Nice revamped Inn in inspired Ace hotel style. Quality decoration and lighting! Nice beds and quiet location. 8 minutes walk to the Gondola. Cool and cozy lobby with fireplace, comfortable sofas, board games, movie night and free coffee/tea, snacks. Easy free parking and nice staff. Toulouse restaurant just beside the hotel adds to it too. Warm and well designed hotel/Inn. Just pool is not heated and closed in winter, hot tub is way too small to accomodate 4 pers… Great for family. We will return.

We absolutely love our time at the Station House Inn whenever we are in Tahoe!! The location is great, the staff are always so friendly, and the facilities are clean and well kept. This is absolutely the best bang for your buck in South Lake. We literally refuse to stay anywhere else.

My stay at Station House Inn was nothing short of amazing. This was my second time at the property and it is now my go-to place to stay. It is VERY close to Heavenly Village, comfortable, and the staff is kind.
The hotel itself boasts comfort, coziness, and even has movie nights on Fridays with popcorn!

I cannot wait to return!

Please stay at this lovely Hotel! The Station house Inn is a great place! I warn you NOT TO BOOK YOUR STAY AT 3 PEAKS HOTEL!!!! The female manager at 3 Peaks hotel will not care for your family or take care of your needs! She is cruel and vile and unprofessional. The 3 Peaks Hotel has cockroaches and Bed bugs too! They are rude and will charge you and kick you out for needing to shower! They are Heartless people at 3 Peaks Hotel they only want your money! They don’t care for the public! Steer clear of 3 Peaks spread the word!

I loved my stay at this hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and very well decorated, in addition to having everything we could need, the beauty products available are great.
The lobby is one of the most beautiful and inviting to enjoy, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn always available.
The staff are super friendly and helpful.
I made a reservation for two nights, but ended up extending one more!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a little small but that is not necessarily a bad thing. We fit in all snug as a bug, it was cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed all the wood, especially on the ceiling, it felt like you are in a cabin in the woods. I like that! They have a restaurant that is currently being renovated so we didn't get to try it but look forward to next time!! Loved the lobby area so cozy and inviting.

This is a great hotel - rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The location is very convenient, central SLT is a quick 5 min walk away.

The evening staff were excellent - courteous and friendly. The lady at the reception went out of her way to make sure we had a good time at the fire pit, cleaning the chairs and providing towels for us.

Great location, really kind staff, and cute little rooms. Perfect size for 2 people wanting a getaway. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Equal distance from the beach and from the shops. Especially loved the hot tub. Would absolutely come back!

Funky, redone motel with comfortable rooms, amazing grounds that include a pool, indoor lounge, and onsite restaurant. Access to the local, private beach is a few blocks away.

As long as you know this is not a 5 star hotel your experience will be terrific. The rooms are quaint and clean, amenities include a heated pool, corn hole, movies on Friday night, oversized jenga along with many other board games, free happy hour from 4-6 Monday-Thursday, multiple fire pits, free coffee, tea and soft drinks and more. The staff is friendly and accommodating and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach at the lake. The restaurant next store is great too. I high recommend trying this place out.
