Harbor Freight Tools

I really like the atmosphere here, they always have a very well tain staff plus always are very nice.they have Amy selection for every home improvement project you may be working on and ever will. I would also like to bring up their fantastic snack option at the checkout area, no matter when you go they always have an amazing selection to choose from. Lastly their toilet and refrigerator sections are always amazing. Plus I'm very avid toward the ambiance there.

Cheap tools at a cheap price. If you don't use them as a commercial business alot of the cheaper tools will last you awhile. They have more stuff in the catalog that is not talked about to much. As a homeowner of a rental property it's great.

Harbor Freight. What's not to love. Great prices and lots of hardware items! The people are nice and store is clean.

Although I'll admit their tools were cheap and not of the best quality way back.
The first major tool I ever purchased through H.F. was a Band Saw in 1988.
It STILL works to this very day and it has been through Hell and High Water !!
They've done nothing but get better, ever since. It was a somewhat slow evolution but that's how it goes.
I OWN all the Big Boy, brand name tools too. That being said, the current line up of Harbor Freights HIGHER END tools,
Will hold up to almost any big brand tool nowadays !
Yup, they still sell some cheaper stuff and if you're going for the cheaper stuff, you might break it after a while but for the price. Use em, Abuse em, then buy another one. You'll still come out on top compared to buying a single brand name for 4 X the price.
Not only that but H.F. is slowly taking over the US. market.
As others Fall,,, H.F. is building a new store every few weeks.
With a little work in their Warranty dept.
I suspect they'll be Numero Uno in the US, in under 5-7 years.
Clean inside and staff has always been helpful.
Pictured below, a 1,500 lb. Bike Jack & 3 Ton, Low Profile Floor Jack with Extension Arms which were both bought roughly 6 years ago. Also a US General 5 Draw tool chest which easily holds up to my old Snap On chest which is basically unsellable for what I paid originally..
No issues with the Harbor Freight stuff either..

I cannot believe I've never been in before. I could do some serious damage to my credit card. Found out after they have their own credit card which is even better. They have everything!!! And things I didn't even know I wanted.

Associate was there to help check stock. Found what I wanted, used Coupons and gone. In and out.

The only crummy thing about this place is that it’s sitting in the rt 28 dead zone don’t know why the cell service is so bad around there. The entire strip of RT28 from Lowe’s down to Home Depot horrible cell reception.

Harbor Freight in Salem is what you would expect, inexpensive tools and accessories. You have to watch what you buy to see if it's good enough for your application. The store is clean, well organized and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and really helpful. I had a few questions and the folks i talked to were great to work with. They keep things flowing at the registers so checkout moves right along. If you want to pay less for everything from air tools to metal and wood working to moving blankets and tarps, Harbor Freight has it all. Just check reviews first if what your looking for is for heavy duty applications. Some of the air tools for example are actually excellent, the compressors not so much.

Great store Great prices on tools and cool accessories. The only thing I've experienced is sometimes you get what you pay for. This being said with power tools spend the extra few dollars and purchase there middle or higher quality power tools.

The people who work at Harbor Freight are great. The products, many of them, which seem to originate from overseas, are cheaply made and not worth removing from the shelves. When I bought a set of Countersink Bits and they couldn't even bore into softwood...I had to return them and purchase a set of USA made bits. And they weren't much more expensive. Harbor Freight is great at reminding me to buy American made products.

This place is awesome. Lots of great deals n easy to find what you're looking for n also the stuff u didn't know u needed lol. Great staff and helpful informing you of upcoming sales n deals. Highly recommend the yearly membership for even more deals n savings. 👌

Quantity over quantity… they have the staples and also some of the most random tools you will ever need…

My husband loves this place! Their prices can't be beat. The store has a good selection but online the options are endless! We actually stopped at the store to check out the quality of a few items. We thought with prices as low as they are then maybe the quality wouldn't be that great. We were definitely unexpectedly surprised. The quality is just as good if not better on some things then any other store you would buy it in. The only difference is here you won't have to spend and arm and a leg to get it!

Great place with great finds. Especially if you don't want to have to go into a huge warehouse-type store like Lowe's/Home Depot.

Great products, great prices, and great service. Have been a customer here for years and have never left disappointed. Quality tools and the warranty process is painless. Recently had an issue with a prebuy item and the manager bent over backwards to resolve the situation and make things more than right. I could buy tools from countless places but keep coming back because I am always treated fairly and provided excellent bang for the buck. Big thanks to the team at Salem HF!
