The atmosphere in here is like stepping back in time to an idealized version of 1968. Hippies being helpful eating good-for-you-food and.. feeding the masses . Thing is, the food is great, delicious, the smoothies are rich and thick, and all of it is healthy, vegetarian food. I wish we had one in New Orleans. I love it here. Thank you for staying forever young.

Delicious and healthy. A hidden gem in the heart of Lowell. A cozy spot with an attentive and friendly staff. Fresh quality ingredients with a varied enough menu that everyone should find something they'll enjoy.

Delicious, healthy vegan meal while on the road for work. For my Buddha Bowl, I added the five spice tofu, a separate order of Steamed Edamame and hot sauce so the extra kick and protein made it just right. The Cauliflower Cashew soup was oh-so luscious next to the Heart Beet juice.

Looking forward to my next meal at their various locations!

My favorite warm bowl is their Swami… 💯it’s so flavor rich! Can’t go wrong with their dishes and they seem to have something for everyone.

Life Alive in Lowell, Massachusetts has been a favorite for a long time. Has a great time recently with a friend and my baby who is under a year old.

Food: Ordered the Swami Bowl with the addition of avocado and whipped sweet potato. This is my favorite bowl at Life Alive and I have no complaints. Consistent every time I go. I also ordered a ginger shot because I was feeling a bit sniffly and it did exactly what I wanted it to, I almost jumped out of my seat from the potency.

Kid Friendlyness: First time visiting with my baby. They didnt have a ramp, so I couldnt bring my stroller (or at least not easily). I carried the baby in. They do have highchairs which was helpful because baby was eying the avocado in my Swami Bowl so easy to feed him. No changing table in the bathroom though there was a dresser type furniture piece that I could of used if I needed to.

Not quite as cozy as their Central Square location, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as expected.

Green Goddess is my fav! So goooood! (Don’t forget the hot sauce) 🙂

The Blue Magic has just the right little sweetness with lots of taste. They offer an excellent and hard to find avocado chocolate mousse and their seasonal Buddha Bowl was superb. Very kind staff and colorful space. I’ll be back when visiting the town again 100%!

I have been going to life alive for years now. The staff is fantastic. The food is fantastic. What a great atmosphere try it out you’ll love it.

I love life alive ! The original acai bowl is amazing, the love child smoothie, and the green goddess bowl, are all great choices. But don’t get the quesadilla. There wasn’t really anything in it, I’ve order this twice now and same thing both times.

What a fabulous find! We loved the fun and casual environment, but even more we loved the food! Such fresh and flavorful dishes available here. So refreshing to find healthy alternatives.

I just want to say: that this little place changed my whole world. I got diagnosed with Celiac disease a month ago and since then, I haven’t eaten out because I’ve been so, scared of cross contamination. As, soon As I, walked through the door, all my Fear went away. The employees were all very well informed and very attentive to every word and worried I had. I spilled my drink and they gave me another one no extra charge. I was so, nervous. they were all so, nice to me! They told me that it was ok that everyone always spilled something and that wasn’t something to be nervous or worried about. I definitely recommend this little place .

I love this place. Food is always amazing.

A long time favorite. Easy to find vegan gluten free meals. Second time now that I’ve ordered the Rainbow Harvest bowl and found it to be overwhelmingly garlicky. I’m sensitive to garlic so had a hard (and uncomfortable) time digesting. Nowhere in the menu description is “garlic” mentioned, so I’m mentioning this as a reminder to myself and heads up to others.
We also got the Thai Peanut Sutra and vegan chili which were delicious.
Everyone is super friendly and bubbly, and I will always love the plant friendly bathroom.

It’s hard to explain - this place is a bit weird but it feels like home. It’s comfy and funny. I ordered butternut bisque and was afraid they may put too much cinnamon and nutmeg in it, - welp they didn’t, it was just right!

Great spot to eat and meet with friends because the vibe, art, and overall atmosphere. Free parking! Great gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Got the "Lover" bowl and avocado chocolate mousse. Delicious!

The food was quick and delicious, the staff was friendly, and this place will definitely be my go-to when visiting the city again!

I have loved this place since it opened in little, downtown lowell! While it had changed since the original owner sold it, i appreciate that the food is still healthy AND delicious. I hope the corporate owners keep in mind that food and service are great, however the staff is more important than even the guests. The original owner made the hours worker friendly. I always admire and appreciate that. Now it's standard hours, which can lead to staff burnout. Food service is hard enough.

The real deal! Fresh, delicious food served with love and true welcome. Great staff, great customers. This is a wonderful place to get together and eat with friends.

June 2020. Life Alive in downtown Lowell (194 Middle St) is ALIVE again! Great recovery from a Sunday May 31st electrical issue (and smoke) which brought in Lowell's Fire Department to the rescue. A special shout-out to Justin and team of Life Alive Lowell for restoring our food oasis quickly. And thanks also for rapid and smart adaptions to ways to feed us deliciously during this ongoing pandemic. I will add photos.
