The Sunflower Cafe

Such a cute cafe 🌻 stopped to get lunch on our way home to Mississippi. My baby girl enjoyed her first kids meal. Vegan chz pizza. We don’t have vegan restaurants in ms so I’m glad she got to try it, she loved it! All the food was delicious!

Absolutely wonderful cafe and lunch spot in Fairhope! So excited that they had so many vegan options EVERYTHING we had was wonderful. From the price, presentation to taste this place has everything nailed perfectly.

The flavors were incredible and just popped in your mouth. We had Thai Peanut Salad with the Vegan Apple Spice Cake, Turkey Melt with avocado, Falafel Wrap (so yummy) and teas. Check out the photos below.

Set in the middle of this mall it’s so unassuming and is so nice and welcoming.Staff were COVIDSAFE, people were #maskup and tables appropriate distance. They also had takeout available and from the phone ringing off the hook, I’m pretty sure the locals know how special this place is too.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband got the vegetarian Ruben and he said it was the best he’s ever had. We will definitely be back.

This place was absolutely delicious!! I ordered the tofu jerk wrap with tabouli and baba gaboush. My fiance got an open faced turkey and mozzarella melt with coleslaw and baba gaboush. I am eating a plant based diet and this place was perfect. If you haven’t tried them and whether you’re vegan or not, the food is AMAZING! We will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem this place is. We are vegan and loved all the vegan options available, the service was great, calming atmosphere. They really know what they are doing with vegan cooking. We had burritos, the sides (tabbouleh, mac and cheese and hummus were all excellent) were wonderful and the dessert was so good you'd never guess it was vegan. The store was cute too. Highly recommend this place. I'd love the mac and cheese recipe if you are willing to share? Thank you!

The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Turkey avocado melt (I asked for the tofu turkey but you can get it either way) with a side salad along with humus with pita. It tasted amazing and the service was so nice. I also tried their black cherry iced herbal tea which was delicious. The food is healthy, filling, and will not disappoint.

Were visiting Fairhope and so glad we had somewhere with such good vegan food to eat! Everything was delicious and the waitress was so nice. Can’t wait to come back and try more food!

Sunflower Cafe is my daughter and mines favorite lunch Cafe. We love, love, love the food but today we were very disappointed in our server, Abby. People that came in after us were served before our order was even taken. We tried to get her attention several times and she seemed to ignore us completely. It seems she knew one of the tables customers. Our tip reflected our disappointment. We will be back, but hopefully she will learn how to be fair in her services.

Great atmosphere, good food! Lots of vegan options. The staff was super kind. Clean area. We sat outside and I ate a vegan turkey sandwich and it was delicious!

Sunday brunch has a different menu than the rest of the week, and that surprised us at first. However what we got was delicious, and well executed. The best eggs Benedict I've has in years. The portions are smaller than average but the flavor and execution is superb. I'd stop by again if in town.

Great service, the waitress and cook were friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious and they had a lot of vegan options as well as non-vegan options.

It was so refreshing to find somewhere that served fresh organic, vegetarian/vegan friendly options! I really enjoyed my falafel wrap, with tabuleh side, and baba ganuesh!

One of the hidden gems of Fairhope...I've eaten here many times, every time I visit from Toronto. Same owners for years. Homemade foods always and their hummus and Baba ganoush is to die for, literally the best I've ever eaten. Portion sizes are good for the money you spend. 5 stars for sure!! (And I'll be back as soon as I visit the South again, can't wait!!)😁

The food and plating was excellent! The atmosphere was great. The menu was well defined and I didn't feel I needed to ask staff ingredients since everything was so well listed.

I will say staff seemed a bit short for the amount of people there, but it may have just been an irregularly busy moment. I'd also state the amount of pita you get on the triple appetizer feels lacking for the serving of Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Quinoa you do receive. Other than that everything was delightful.

Recently ate lunch here and everything was delicious! Very fresh food! Friendly, prompt service! Loved how they offered great gluten free options for someone in our party that has celiac disease! We all want to go back soon!

Got the turkey avocado sandwich and it was delicious! I thought the menu seemed overpriced at first until I tasted the food. Service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

The food is amazing! It is very well reviewed because it is really worth it. Healthy food with a very good taste. Their Black cherry tea was great.

Got takeout from Sunflower cafe. Abbie helped me order my items when I didn’t know what I wanted but wanted to try something new. :D Everyone was super friendly and food was tasty but the Chocolate Gateau was divine. Absolutely the star of the show . 10/10 recommend.

My son and I inhaled our food. He had a vegan pizza and I had pita bread and the black bean burrito. It was amazing! So glad to have a vegan spot in Fairhope.

The food and service are always excellent. I have tried the sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizza and can’t decide on a favorite because they are all delicious and substantial servings. I love this cafe and never tire of eating here.
