They are caring and thoughtful and our family so appreciates all they did to make this time of our life - be peaceful and without any added stress or frustrations. Dossman Funeral Home is excellent. The entire staff is kind and compassionate and helps make a difficult and sad situation easier to deal with. They are so caring and knowledgeable when helping with arrangements and provide all the information you need both for the funeral service and for the days ahead. Rick and his team saw to it that everything ran smoothly at the funeral and graveside. I was particularly impressed when a couple of weeks after the funeral they checked in to see how we were doing, offering their care and guidance even then, and letting us know they were thinking of us. I would highly recommend them.

Having to make funeral arrangements for a loved one in their last days of hospice care is a difficult task, but the team at Dossman Funeral Home were gracious and loving throughout each step. After the first phone call to inquire about arrangements, I knew everything would be alright. Rick and Janice were caring and compassionate; all their suggestions were suitable and ideal for our wishes and desires. I am thankful for the peace and comfort they provided to us during our time of need.

I can’t say enough great things about the wonderful people at Dossman funeral home. No one wants to ever have to plan a service for their loved one. I had never planned one & had no clue where to begin. My mother had terminal cancer & shortly before she passed away, my husband & I went to plan & pick out everything for her service. Rick was amazing! He really put us at ease with the entire process. He was so witty & even made us laugh throughout this painful time. He even let me have an endless number of pictures for her video. (He will get a kick out of that because I was only supposed to have 35) We take a LOT of pictures & he indulged me. Thank you Rick!!! The very sweet lady that greets you just really made things so special. She made the flyers & brought us different options to choose from. Spending such time & care on the details like we were the only family there. She called me checking on my family & really made us feel more relaxed about the whole situation. My mother passed away on my parents 51st anniversary. Cynthia & Rick took such care of my family with a peacefulness guiding my Dad through each next step. It really was a beautiful thing to witness. Fast forward throughout the next month, we have received texts & phone calls from them. They’ve gone absolutely above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen. They care. They’ve checked on my Dad, sent us different grief groups & have become a part of our family’s memory.
I’ve never reviewed any business, but I wanted to make sure these great people got their 5 stars! If I could give 100 I would.

Dossmans was wondering in handling
Mom’s funeral. They were very thoughtful and helped us stay within our budget. Everything went very smoothly. They also took a picture we had of mom and did a wonderful job enhancing that picture which was on display during the service.

No one is ever really prepared for a death in the family. My Mother purchased a pre-arranged funeral from Dossman. Dossman knew all my Mothers requests down pat. Dossman treated me like family. Everything for the proceeding's was perfect. This was in July so it was very hot but Dossman never broke a sweat. In the after Dossman has guided me through the ins and outs handlining insurance claims. They have checked on me several times for wellness and paperwork that I might have overlooked. 5 star service, actually a 10!

I’m not sure you could ever say it was a pleasure doing business with a Funeral Home, however I can say that from day one of us contacting Dossman Funeral Home, to plan our Grandmothers funeral, all of the staff , from the funeral Director to the financial director were very sympathetic, patience and personal with our feelings and emotions, we never once had to worry about the staff taking care our Grandmothers final wishes, nor did we every have to worry about dealing with the insurance company, as this can be a total nightmare, We want to thank you for everything.
