Kids love it and we love the piece of mind that being fenced in gives us. Plenty to keep kids busy and they are never ready to leave.

Favorite park in Temple! Long walking trail, so great for dogs. Dog park, multiple playgrounds, and disc golf. Floods easily so I recommend waiting a few days after a big rain to visit. Lots of wildlife to photograph. Dog waste stations and benches throughout the park.
Be careful of snakes as some areas are overgrown.

We drove 14 hours to watch the eclipse here. A beautiful little oasis in the heart of Temple.

Great place to take the kids. Lots of things for them to do and plenty of benches for grown ups to sit and watch them play. Some of the things are not made for little ones so you still have to watch them carefully but it is fenced so you have less worry about them getting to far away or running from you.

Great place to take kids during good weather. Sun shades over equipment are really a plus during the summer. There’s a second park a minute or so walk down the drive.

We had a fancy picnic right snuggled in one section of the play equipment , wrapped it up right as a few more kids showed up to play , and I think they all enjoyed the fun outdoors in a safe fun place. Also for MooCow our pup, across the street is a dog park with water fountains.

Great outta the way park for the whole family to enjoy. Plenty of room to run n it even has a dog park n a pool.
I come here when passing thru so I can rest my eyes before I venture southbound to home as I call it.
Restrooms are kept clean and it seems this is common in Temple.
Kudos to the parks staff.
Lots of Frisbee golfers are coming outta the woodwork with spring just around the corner.

Two ponds and Bird Creek runs around the entire lower area.
Many small covered tables with small charcoal grills and two large covered patios with multiple tables and benches.

Playgrounds here are great for kids!! There is an older playground by the softball fields, not shaded but still functional and has a bench to sit at.
The red playground is not fenced but large, with lots of different slides to explore. Plenty of shade from trees and visible from the walking path. Near the large covered picnic area.
The busiest playground is fenced and shaded one. Toddler and kids friendly. Lots of benches for parents.

Lions Park is a beautiful park. Spend time, walk your dogs or play in the fence in areas for them. Great place for a party, Easter egg hunt etc. It has bathrooms, very clean. It was my first time there. Loved it!!

Love the shade this park provides. However we can only really use it from fall to spring due to the mosquitoes
