Wonderful campground; clean, well maintained bathrooms with hot showers; great hospitality and coffee in the morning (we brought our own breakfast but they offer freshly cooked one). Can recommend!

Great facility and great people. Very friendly and take great care of there customers. Stayed in tents so can’t speak for rooms but everything I experienced was great. Free Showers and bathrooms with breakfast and coffee and firewood provided. Had an amazing time and will definitely return highly suggested.

After getting yelled by the wife’s owner at the Smitty’s lodge. We drove down Cherohala campground and was immediately greeted with happy folks. We paid 12$ to tent camp with free firewood and showers as well as pastries and coffee for breakfast.

These folks have wonderful facilities and really know how to run a proper friendly campground un like the money hungry owners of the Smitty’s lodge. Plus you will sleep peacefully under stars and won’t get woken up by the pack of dogs at Smitty’s or the wife.

I can’t say enough good about this place. We camped here while riding the Smoky Mountain 500 and it was great. The owners are helpful in every way. They have a great breakfast.

Loved this place felt like home away from home. We have now made this a permanent stop when in town. Super friendly owner. Can't say enough good about. Maybe more fire rings and tables and munchies so we wouldn't have to leave.....lol

I stayed at CMTC this past April while taking part in a motorcycle rally. I have been here once before and tent camped but this time I stayed in a cabin. The cabins are small but I never felt cramped. The cabin had two twin beds, a chest of drawers, and a small bench. There was an window style air conditioner and a small electric heater and ceiling fan as well. The bed was fine and the air conditioning worked great. The heater was small but quickly warmed the space one morning when it was in the upper 40s. There was only one electrical outlet but it had a 4 way splitter on it and that was plenty for me. Also there was a boot dryer that came in handy after getting my boots wet on Witt Rd.
There are four bathrooms with showers attached to the office. The bathrooms were always clean and the showers worked properly.
The office has some basic supplies for sale including some drinks, snacks and camping supplies. Breakfast was available and was quite good the morning I age there. Wayne was making breakfast the my eggs were perfectly cooked to order.
The Campground itself was in good condition, recently mowed and fire wood was available.
All in all I had a good time during both of my visits and will be back I'm sure.

Wayne and his wife were absolutely amazing! When I tell you these folks went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special it’s no kidding. They checked us in, showed the facilities, and then drove firewood to us.

The have free pastries and coffee in the morning and made to order breakfast. The facilities are clean and well kept without any funny smells or critters.

We weren’t sure if we were going to do one night or two because of the weather. Wayne offered us a place to keep our gear securely kept while we rode the skyway and dragon. These folks felt like family. I’m at a loss for words how absolutely amazing they treated us.

Thank you both! We will tell all we can to check you guys out. Blessings!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The owners were amazing and are avid trail riding motorcyclists themselves. Extremely affordable, fire wood and morning coffee provided. They will cook breakfast from a limited menu if there is enough interest. Stellar place to camp.

Awesome campground! A hidden gem for sure. $12/night for a tent site-and there are plenty available: pretty much an empty field and u can camp anywhere. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Free WiFi. Potable water. Wayne is very accommodating and pleasant. Price and service makes this a 5 star stop.

Great campground. Nice flat sites by a creek. Clean bathrooms. Only 25 minutes to the Ocoee.

Friendly staff, knew how to accommodate our large group of motorbike enthusiasts. Morning coffee was a great perk. Hammock stands were available to rent. Close to town but not too close. They do have cabins with heat and AC, but we tent. They don't have specific sites which we like because we do have such a large group.

This hidden gem is popular among motorcyclists. Perfect for motorcycle camping. Very reasonable price for tent camping. The cabins have two twin beds. The campground has four bathrooms with hot water shower and flush toilets. Located very conveniently at the entrance of Cherohala Skyway. The only downside is tent space is so closed together that you hear the guy next to you talking, snoring, farting, etc.

Great place to camp! I had one of the RV spots because I wanted shore power, and it was great. The management was nice, the other campers were nice, the bathrooms/showers were clean. It was very affordable and I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful owners. Small but fantastic campground. Great rates. Huge gazebo with heaters and fans and a large has grill you are welcome to use. Free firewood when available (there was a lot of firewood when we were there). The little cabins are great. The 4 bathrooms/showers were immaculate which is very rare. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

This is a biker’s paradise. We had one of two RV spots. The cabins looked great and there was plenty of tent camp space. The individual shower/bathrooms were very clean. Owner Wayne was fantastic. So welcoming. He even acknowledged my birthday! I know they offer coffee and breakfast options. We did not try as we had what we wanted in our RV, but there were guys there every morning. The gazebo is amazing. Free firewood as available. Great location for Cherahola Skyway and apparently lots of off-roading. Totally recommend.

Wonderful place. The seven 12x12 cabins are solid wood with AC/heaters, fan and overhead light. There are only 2 plugins but who needs more in such a wondrous place!
We rented a cabin, but there is also lots of space for tents. Wayne, the owner, is friendly and a great conversationalist. We had a great 3 days there and will be returning.

This is one of those unique places that totally gets it! They have thought of everything an adventure tourer needs. They are warm and friendly and treated us like family. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and air conditioned when the office is open.

Stayed one night here this weekend and had a great time. Owners are really nice, bathroom/showers were clean, price is great and they have a kitchen where they offer dinner and breakfast. They weren’t serving dinner since it was a really quiet night but had a delicious breakfast sandwich the next morning.

Wayne and Kelly were wonderful hosts. They made sure we were pointed in the right direction and gave us priceless tips to navigate our trip better. Campground was exactly what we needed. Left our vehicle for 3 days while we rode the SM500. We will definitely return.
