What a place!! We love it here, first timers and we will be back!! Had some trouble with my toolbox and Brian, the host, was most helpful, he had every tool. Fixed me up and send me on my way.
Scenery was beautiful
Bathrooms clean!!!
Easy to find and get too.

We had a wonderful day digging and splashing around! We had our 6 year old with us and it is def a kid friendly place! The gentleman host was exceptionally informative and nice. He was a wealth of knowledge. The property is beautiful and well kept. Clean restrooms were a bonus! We would love to come back next time we're in Tennessee!

We had a great time! My husband just recently got interested in gold prospecting, so we definitely had no idea how to get started. Brian showed us some tips and tricks and even helped us gather some gold. He had a great sense of humor and kept everyone laughing and having a good time! He even found a babydoll head in the creek and had us all laughing! Denise showed amazing hospitality. Willow, the sweet husky, was such a lover and very friendly! It was an overall positive experience, and we can’t wait to go back! Maybe with more planning next time, haha! Oh and because I know this is a big deal as well… the bathroom was INCREDIBLY clean and nice!

Very good experience. It was our first time panning for gold and of course we had the wrong everything lol. The Host at the campground took my grandson under his wing and showed him how to do everything correctly. We will definitely return for kids day in June! Thanks for such a great experience!

This is a fantastic place to learn how to pan. Bryon is the best teacher and clearly knows what he's doing. Also, the creek and surrounding area are gorgeous and full of interesting history. Would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to try something new and unique.

It's been a good 2 yrs since I've been back here, I have to say the improvements are absolutely fantastic. 13 full hookup camps spots withe water, electric and sewage. Primitive camp sites and soon to have electric and water for tent camping as well. This property has historical value and the Owners "The Millers" will be more than happy to share some of that knowledge with you, especially during the evening next to the fire pit.

This place is such a gem! We stopped through on our spring break trip for 2 nights and Brian, the camp host was wonderful. He showed my son and I some tips for panning and told us some of the history of the area. We are definitely planning to return!

Great spot to come gold panning and learn how to find gold. Costs $25 to pan for the day. They also rent and sell some equipment onsite. Campground has water/ electric hookup and nice showers/restrooms. Great spot to spend a quiet weekend playing in the river. It's good to know they're cash only.

Very friendly staff and members, they are willing to help provide all your needs to enjoy your experience here.

Never panned for gold before? That is okay, they will teach you everything that you need to know, including how to season your panning plates and more. Gold here varies in size so be mindful that it takes plenty of patience to find your perfect nugget. A bit of gold goes a long way and if you are suffering from the infamous gold fever, then you are in the right place for it.

The place is under construction, it is trying to get the place updated with more things to do for all ages, and hopefully be ready for spring 2024.

Look for the 1500-1800s wagon at the entrance, if the gate is open you are welcome to come and enjoy the place with the owner and his family members.
