Wanted to say how much we enjoyed your campground and our campsite. It was very spacious and everyone was very friendly. We will keep you in mind the next time we are in the area.

We camped here for the first time this week. And already we have talked about going back. The place is pretty. Easy access to the water as well as clean bathrooms. Additionally everyone we encountered was nice and followed the campsite rules regarding quiet hours and not walking through one another's campsites. Great experience.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed. The manager was super friendly and took care of a special need we had. The campground was very well maintained right on the water. Looking forward to future stays.

We stayed in site 19 in a 30’ airstream. We had plenty of room and there was more space than normal between sites for a private campground. One thing that is different is there is a concrete border around the campsite which could make it hard for some people to back into their site. Each site has a concrete picnic table, fire pit with cooking grate and a lantern pole. This is a TVA owned campground and there are very few sites that are not occupied by full timers, I believe only 8 are open for reservations. The campground is right on Tellico lake, which is beautiful. They have a boat dock and ramp. Playground for kids. Two bath houses that we didn’t use but they looked nice and clean. The people who run it live on property and are really nice. They have a cute little store with lots of supplies. Loved that the campground is gated and you can only get in and out with a key fob, which they charge a $10 deposit for that you get back when turned in. If we could get one of the few spots open then we’d go back.

We just returned from a frigid weekend at Notchy Creek. Even though the snow/sleet was unexpected, we had a wonderful time. Campgrounds were clean and very family friendly! We will be returning (in warmer weather)

Very kind and accommodating people. The kids had a good time, the dog had a good time, and the adults had a good time as well. Plenty of nature time, swimming, and fishing. There is a basketball court and very well-kept and clean bathhouses. Will definitely be going again.

The most beautiful, cleanest and friendliest affordable RV campground on the lake! Simply the best campground and close to beautiful Sweetwater and Madisonville, TN, Tanassee Memorial, Sequoyah Museum, Cherohala Skyway, and Bald River Falls. We often reminisce about our stay there!

If you have a large rig with full slideouts on both sides like us make sure to get site 29, so you can fit comfortably. Sandy, the park manager, was absolutely the best help ever and we arrived on the first day of our daughter starting virtual school and even with no internet she let her sit on her porch and use her wifi!! We brought our boat and the marina is the best aminity, and the rest of our stay she could use the internet on the lake. We did not have any problems being without service because we really did not go on vacation to be stuck to our phones and the peacefulness of being on the lake is what we really wanted. There is no sewer hookups but the dump station is conveniently located and with a family of 4 taking showers everyday we only had to dump the grey tank every three days and the black lasted the entire week we were there. If you bring a boat check out Calhoun's in Lenoir City for a good meal and you can go through the Fort Loudon locks after for a cool site. Where some reviews complained about full time campers there we seen no issue, we found it made the environment more friendly, homely, safe and peaceful. I saw where people complained about bathhouse too I found them to be cleaned everyday and yes the shower does conserve water by using a push button but it stays hot with good pressure and had no issues using it. Some others complained about deposit for gate pass and they must not do that anymore because we had our own code with no fee. You do have to be in the gate by 10 pm, but this is not a location near the city with night life so we didn't have any reason to stay out later then that anyway. We also had plenty of room to pull alongside the main entrance when we arrived at 3 am after driving for 12 hours and wait for the site to open and unload our trailer. Sandy also let us stay later in the afternoon so we didn't have to go through Atlanta on the way home during the day since we prefer to travel at night. The landing was for smaller boats but the public landing was literally outside the gate. The overflow parking area was also amazing for our truck and trailers. Everyone was so easy to talk to and this is truly God's country amongst God's people. McDonald's, gas stations and grocery stores were within 5 miles and don't listen to GPS taking you 2 hours on 144, follow I 75 in and GPS to the McDonald's in vonore tn and then to the campground to avoid single lane back roads with an RV cuz Google just don't know!!! Don't forget to check out the Lost Sea adventure too it was a remarkable cave system with underground pond :-o Overall if you are looking for peace and tranquility in the mountains on the river this is the place to stay... If you are looking to stay on your phone or computer and party you may want to go to the city.
