Holiday Inn Express Williamsburg North, an IHG Hotel

We had a great experience here! The staff is so friendly and kind! It is clean and our room was quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. There was a wide variety of foods. The indoor pool was fun! It's location is great because it's off the busy shops and restaurant areas, but you can be at any of those places in 5 minutes. We will definitely stay here again! Just bring a charging block, our room didn't have any USB charging.

Quiet, nice comfortable place to stay. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Been coming here for a couple weeks for work. I look forward to staying here. The only think I don't like is the breakfast times. I start work at 7am and breakfast starts at 6:30 so I don't have time to eat. Other than that it's a really nice place. I have had zero issues here.

Helpful and nice front desk staff and overall a clean facility. Appropriate pricing and a great location to local attractions. Room was clean but showed its age. Hotel was very well maintained with the amount of visitors during our stay

I decided to stop and rest I called around williamsburg Virginia and was told there was no rooms. I called Holiday Inn express spoke to April and she said "yes" we do. I came check in was easy, The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast was delicious 😋 . Breakfast Attendant was welcoming. I am one well satisfied customer. Thank you for listening April. Angels are forever present.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was awesome... they had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruits, juices, and coffee, and they even had a self making pancake maker. The area was peaceful and beautiful.

Recently reserved 2 rooms for one night and we were very happy with the rooms and service. Checked-in around 8-9pm and the check-in was smooth. Outstanding front desk service; welcomed with a smile and a positive energy. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We would stay here again when returning to this area.

This is a great hotel! The staff is superior! They are so friendly, courteous, and helpful. On Christmas Eve we had trouble finding a place that was open. The clerk gave a flier for an amazing pizza parlor, Olde Town Pizza and Pasta. The food was delicious!

The service here really stands out. Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 1 a.m. We were greeted in the brightly lit, sparkling clean lobby by the smiling night manager, who quickly checked us in. After a long day of travel, her positive attitude was exactly what I needed (and not what you get at many places). Service was again excellent at the free breakfast, where a team of workers kept everything exceptionally well stocked and clean, despite the Saturday morning rush. The room was also very large with comfortable beds and pillows and new furnishings. Highly recommend!

Entire hotel was clean and organized. Breakfast was very good. We had a wonderful stay. I think what puts them above other places we have stayed is the staff. Everyone member of the staff that we came into contact was so friendly. They were happy to help with anything and always had a smile on their faces. They were all friendly and we enjoyed them all.

The staff are nice, greeting always. The room is super clean, any details is made nice. The continental breakfast has many selections but the walnuts are too old to eat. The coffee is good too.
Plenty parking is great for our big RV.

The Wi-Fi is terrible and room phone is not working. Nobody picked up The hotel telephone calls.

The staff were amazing. Always friendly and smiling. They were quick to respond when we had an issue with a lamp.

CLEAN ROOMS.

The hot breakfast was the best I've had a hotel. Eggs (scrambled, boiled or cheese omelet), sausage or bacon (depending on the day), variety of breads (sliced, bagel, English muffin, etc), pancakes, condiments galore (salsa, shredded cheese, cream cheese, jellies multiple flavored syrups, chocolate chips, nuts...to much to list), juices, tea, milks, coffee, pastries, and muffins. You'll definitely get full.

The indoor pool was very well maintained.

The 2nd night there we came back to find they had a hit cocoa bar set up with cookies. The 3rd night cookies and lemonade.

This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel that every guest was pleasant because there was nothing negative to find. We'll be back!

A very great stay. Comfortable rooms and a very helpful front desk staff.

Amazing staff and amazing free hot breakfast!! We had to change our accommodations and luckily ended up here. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and says hello to you. The kids loved the pancake machine each morning. The beds, linens and room were great quality and we slept so well with 2 kids and 2 adults in a double queen room. Updated bathrooms and adequate storage for your things. The room came with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker (which we never used bc there was hot coffee downstairs with breakfast!). In the afternoons they host warm cookies in the lobby. Hands down we’d stay here again. Busch gardens, water park and Jamestown were only 15-20 minutes away and it was so nice not being near all the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. Supercharger for our Tesla was also close by at the Wawa. This was actually cheaper than the deluxe cabin at KOA that we had to evacuate due to the AC not working and we were so relieved and happy with our room at the Holiday Inn!! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, affordable and good location a bit removed from the main drag along 60, so quiet, but still an easy drive to anywhere you'd need to go. Very friendly staff!

I cannot praise enough how wonderful the staff is at this hotel, especially Andrea. This place is clean and follow covid safety. Our room was beautiful and cozy. The hotel has a pool, fitness center and laundry machine and also offer free breakfast. I had to unexpectedly stop and stay at this hotel with my kids and Andrea was incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay, not just because the hotel is comfortable but because of the excellent customer service and friendliness of the staff. I would give them more stars if I could! Wonderful place to stay.

We stayed for 5 days so we got to see a good deal of the hotel staff in action. We were extremely pleased with the response to requests and the general effort with the staff here. We were told on check in that they typically don't service the rooms for those with multiple days stay but if we needed something to feel free to contact the front desk and they would help us. We didn't have to get with the front desk because we were just a few doors down from the laundry and there was typically someone there that we just asked them directly and they always helped. They are standard rooms that have a Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board. WiFi is free and has reasonable speeds, maybe not gaming remote type speed but worked fine and we didn't notice any outages (PSA I would always use a VPN). The pool was a comfortable 81°F while we were there and they had the latest temperature and chemistry reports written on a dry erase board in the pool area. Towels for the pool are provided in the entryway to the pool with a laundry basket for used towels. There is a single multi use bathroom in here as well. The pool deck is clean and has several chairs and a couple of tables. The atmosphere in the pool is humid and warm so be prepared, if you get in and out of the pool it is fine but if you are watching the kids play you WILL be sweaty 🥵. The pool deck is tile that doesn't have much texture so very slippery when wet. The provided breakfast was reasonable and typically on time but one day due to staffing shortages they were a little delayed but the people setting it up were very apologetic which I can appreciate. There were only a few of us waiting and nobody seemed upset. We used the breakfast area for lunch that we brought in one day since we had several people here and that way we could relax and visit. Parking got a bit crowded on the weekend but we never had a problem finding a parking spot. The location is really close to many food, shopping and tourist places so we liked the location. I read some negative reviews but as for our stay we had a really good experience. There is a small gym located next to the pool. The one knock I saw was it appeared that there is only 1 luggage cart which is absolutely too few for the number of rooms. I know we couldn't find it and since we were in the lobby a good deal during our visit we saw many having to struggle with multiple trips due to that shortage. There is a small set of shelves and a cooler at the check-in desk with some food, snacks and drinks.

The manager was so lovely, held a room for us on our way in, she was just so kind and welcoming! The hotel was beautiful, nicely decorated, and most importantly CLEAN! Bathroom was nice! In the morning, the manager served breakfast, everything from cereal and oatmeal to eggs, sausage and gravy, to cinnamon rolls and yogurt. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

This was a very nice hotel. We stayed 6 nights and was very comfortable. We had a king sized bed. They have some fancy bathrooms too! Very up scale feel. The pool is very nice and mostly empty during the day and some nights. In the morning there is always older people. The hotel breakfast is very good. The bacon is always gone. I don’t know what people’s deal is. My wife loves the cinnamon rolls. The oat meal was great! You can add nuts and fruit. Staff was very nice and we just felt at home.

Great price. Very warm welcome from staff at front desk and super contemporary lobby as well as throughout the hotel. Heated Pool and very nice fitness room. Comfy bed and clean and love the room layout overall. Wish we could stay longer. Quiet even though off interstate. Very nice.
