Quality Inn & Suites Decorah

I have stayed here multiple times over several years and have never been disappointed. Great location to restaurants, downtown and shopping. Priced reasonably. Indoor pool. Decent breakfast.

The front desk associate, Morgan. Is an absolute asset to this company. I travel often. I’m home for only 2 months of the year. My work has me travel through the area often and this will always be my top choice for a night in. She’s extremely efficient, quick, and knowledgeable. I have never been greeted with anything other than kindness and a warm smile from Morgan. It’s nice to have a friendly familiar face when you’re away from loved ones and home. I appreciate you Morgan for all you do. Thank you for making Quality Inn & Suites feel more like my home away from home with your kindness.

We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We were pleased with the current rates. They serve a wonderful breakfast. We will return. We had a great stay.

Typically I don't do hotel chain reviews, but I will for this location. The lady that runs the lobby and breakfast is awesome. I couldn't believe how nice was breakfast! The staff was super helpful and nice.

A couple turns and you'll find a very nice stay. Should do a better job at listing all the ' pet friendly' rules that aren't listed on their website, think it's a hustle to get more money.

Great place to stay 5 min from downtown Decorah. On Hwy 9, but didn't notice noise on backside of hotel. Loved the small clean pool. Waffles, scrambled eggs, & sausage, along with usual free bkfst items. Dogs $25/ night & lots of grass to walk them. No elevator for 2nd floor & 15 steps with handrails. Liked the handrail & low step in for tub. Very comfortable beds.

Great rooms for the price. Staff there is awesome. I travel all year. Probably the best folks I’ve ran into at a hotel. Honestly better than upscale places. Only criticism is most Quality Inns breakfasts are just average. I recommend this place for sure

We will definitely stay here again when we come back into the area. Great value! The hotel and room were clean. Our bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Very nice place to stay in decorah. We were there biking and the biking trail was only about two blocks away. The hotels pool was very nice. The staff was great and they're continental breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Love staying there!

Hidden gem!!
Excellent stay. Quiet, clean rooms and the hottest shower I've ever had a hotel. Was there during a Thursday night, so not too busy. The girl working was quick and efficient to get me into my room and gave knowledgeable information on where to get dinner. I wish I remembered her name, she was very nice.

Slept in past breakfast so I cannot comment on it, but there was a moderately sized area for guests.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool, and very affordable! Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The woman running breakfast (Audrey) was absolutely wonderful and kept things running smoothly. Highly recommend if you’re traveling in the Decorah area!

My absolute favorite hotel!! I stay here probably twice a month for business! The attendants are amazing and they always go above and beyond!! Clean rooms, excellent service, and some of the nicest people you will ever encounter!! Much love and appreciation!!🥰🥰

Quality Inn had great customer service letting us check in early, the room was clean, the pool was warm and clean, and the continental breakfast had lots of choices. We will stay here again the next time we need to stay overnight in Decorah.

Fast and friendly checking in and out, I'd prefer updated showers for someone over 6 ft and more/better breakfast options but that's at every hotel. Felt very safe in the area & neighborhood behind the hotel.

I highly recommend the Quality Inn & Suites in Decorah. My wife and I stayed for two nights in May 2021, and had an excellent experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager was especially attentive and made sure to address any question or concern we had. The location is very accessible by car, and to the rest of town. My wife and I biked around the city and were able to access the trails very easily from the hotel. We also walked the 1.7 miles into town. Consider this location for a clean, affordable, well-placed stay in Decorah.

As I said in my Google review, great staff, clean rooms and evening snacks. The location is good for anybody new to the area. Easy access to all attractions.
The breakfast attendant is the best we've encountered in our travels. She even refilled our coffees. I wish I had half her energy!

Stayed at this hotel while working in the area. We are always concerned when we have few hotels to choose from in a town - however, from the first minute in the lobby until we left for another town, we couldn't have asked for anything better. The room was comfy and suitably appointed, the staff warm and welcoming, and the neighborhood appeared very safe. Great job of taking care of guests!! We'll definitely return when we get back in the area!

Great hotel. Went for a TG release and they helped us get transportation around town that was cheaper than the local cabs. Also let us host a bottle share in the dining room that was amazing. The staff was all around great and the rooms were clean and quiet despite the numerous intoxicated patrons. The breakfast was fantastic and hit the spot for this hungover guy.

My husband was on a motorcycle trip and had been staying at Quality Inns as often as possible. They (5 total) had already checked out and left when it started raining heavily. They returned to the hotel. The manager told them they were welcome to stay until the rain stopped. She made fresh coffee and turned the dining area TV back on. They were there for another 4 hours, They left very grateful for the hospitality of the manager and the Quality Inn.
