Such a cozy vibe and it’s got quite a bit of seating really. The coffee is great and the food is delicious. Lots of good options. My son had the French toast and it came with fresh blueberries and granola

Nice little spot! Looks small from the outside, but is huge inside and very decorative.

Magpie has "Coffeehouse" in the name, but it's so much more than just coffee. We skipped the cup o' joe and had one of the best burgers EVER! "Ole Youmans" : A 1/3# angus beef topped with tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion, mayo, & mustard on a toasted pretzel bun. (Pretzel buns are my kryptonite.)

We also enjoyed a cinnamon roll and lemonade… But not just any lemonade. A Lemon Buzz: Lemonade, bianco ESPRESSO, and a shot of lavender. A unique twist on a classic favorite. I encourage you to try it asap!

To top it off we always have excellent customer service. They're friendly, willing to answer your questions and quick to get your order. You can also order in advance and pick up right inside the door as you continue shopping downtown or head on your way to your next destination. They've truly thought of it all!

Always aces - even when it's packed on 'tourist' weekends. And you KNOW it's good when the layer of frosting on the cinnabun is so thick and delicious that you happily 'wear' it...until (spouse) says otherwise.

The coffeehouse is loaded with charm and character from the moment you walk in. I had a delicious breakfast of eggs and bacon. Perfectly cooked food. Worth the trip!

Lovely cafe with breakfast/lunch items to satisfy any taste. Baked goods to go as well. We loved the .75 coffee refill which we took to go. Friendly staff!

Food was very good and just different enough to make it stand out, but nice being a local business and reasonably priced. Locally sourced ingredients as well. Coffee was very good.

Great little coffee shop with all kinds of beverages. They do serve some local beers too. Locally named meals are made with care and taste delicious.

Get the biscuits and gravy, some good comfort food right there

I had the nest, my wife had the water street. I though mine was one of the better turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had. Staff seemed a hit overwhelmed, but it was pretty busy and we didn’t have to wait a long time and nobody was rude or anything. Would come back for sure.

This is our breakfast go to! we have tried everything, and it is all great! Love the coffee and the service us always amazing and super friendly!

Magpie is one of my favorite places to eat in Decorah. We live about 30 minutes from Magpie; and I can't even tell you the number of times I've rushed out the door to make sure I get there in time to order the biscuits & gravy by 10:30! My favorite. I'm only sad they aren't offered all day! My go-to drink is their London Fog; I've never had one better. Friendly staff and such a fun, unique atmosphere.

Delicious coffee and the Baristas were super friendly! I got the almond joy latte iced, which was very good. They offer bianco espresso (espresso concentrate with the caffine but no coffee flavor) which was a unique option to have. I will definitely visit again!

Relaxing environment, delicious breakfast and very pleasant and helpful employees! I came to Decorah to recharge myself and this place was perfect! Sat outside and drank my tasty coffee and ate my fresh made breakfast sandwich. Thank you for having such a nice place!

Magpie is a rare eatery that earns the full 5 stars, and we went both days we were in Decorah. Food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. My husband loved the Uncle's Favorite meal (biscuits and gravy with an egg), I loved the simple yet perfectly cooked blueberry pancake. The staff are genuinely nice and you can tell they enjoy working there. I look forward to returning next time we're in Decorah!
