Great coffee and a great atmosphere. People were really nice! And best of all, the coffee has some power to it, so the rest of your day will go perfectly.

We were hosting a reception for twenty-five people and wanted to have an assortment of desserts to add to the menu. Ordering bars and cookies was the absolutely right choice. Our guests loved the treats and it was the perfect pairing with our menu. If you need desserts for your gathering, I highly recommend Java John's!

The chicken salad salad (ie not the sandwich:) was superb with lots of good toppings. Their bacon asparagus quiche was also very good as were their lattes. They have a porch which is fine if you have your furry friend, but the the indoor restaurant was very inviting.

Fast service and they even sell muffin tops. Great coffee. Beautiful artwork on the walls

Our first visit to Java John's, Labor Day weekend. Nice setting inside, very reasonable pricing. Cinnamon roll, milk, bottled water, Norwegian waffle plus three bacon strips. $15.00 or so. Bottle of water was more expensive than the milk ($1).

I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was one of the best I’ve ever had chuck-full of fresh apples, grapes, loads of meat and great sauce. Also had an absolutely perfect bowl of rommegrot that was delightful. Will be a regular stop from now on.

I went here on a day where it was snowing hard, so I believe I may have been the only customer at the time. I enjoyed the coffee, and the pecan roll was delicious. I liked that they had a section of couches and a selection of games that I imagine would be fun if I was there with someone else or a small group.

Good coffee. Regular coffee house foods, they were good.

Friendly service and great coffee!

Java John's not only serves great coffee, but the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The latte I ordered was one of the best ones I have had in my life (and that is saying a lot because Starbucks and I are quite close). Java John's is a must go to if ever in the area!

I found a wide selection of drinks and bakery treats, spacious seating, a clean layout, friendly workers, free Wi-Fi, and plentiful parking. I ordered a cafe mocha and it was creamy and full of flavor. A perfect place to chat and catch up on some reading!

First time here and it was wonderful. Free WiFi, hot and cold coffee drinks, open late with other beverages for sale, and a decent menu. There's also live music some nights. It has a great coffee house feel.

A wonderful place for a cup of coffee and a scone. If you get that scone in the afternoon it is half price. Life is good if you have time at 2PM for a cup of coffee and a scone, and this is a great place to enjoy them.

I was just passing through town on a quick visit to one of our facilities and stopped in for coffee. Great shop, my latte was awesome and so was the almond biscotti. Highly recommended when you're in Decorah.

3-3-22 Today, shrimp tacos! Delicious and totally unexpected!

Perfectly lovely coffedrinks, breakfast sandwiches and scones in a clean restful space. My sausage link breakfast burrito was delicious and the quiche scores an A+ from the Mrs.

Tasty and healthy food while enjoying either a refreshing iced mocha or a palate pleasing glass of wine is my definition of happiness. The friendly staff and comfortable environment is the frosting on the cake.

We just had the honey bbq chicken wings with coleslaw and toasted potatoes. It was delicious-a great combination! I think all they bake and cook is yummy!

I got the chicken salad on a croissant, which was fresh and delicious! The peach, pear, and apricot smoothie was very refreshing.
