Impact Coffee

I'm from Linn county but occasionally come to Decorah. First time being here and I was impressed. Really open floor with an upper balcony area. There is a sign outside with posted events they do throughout the week/month, stuff like wine nights.

The coffee was great! They do offer a limited food menu with bagel sandwiches that are either breakfast or lunch themed.

I got the Slammin Salmon on whole wheat and it was really good. That and a medium coffee cost me about $9 so definitely worth the price. I will make sure to come back to this spot whenever I'm in town!

Have had coffee & food at Impact many times. Delicious coffee & great baked goods. Love the atmosphere & the way they have embraced the original architecture of the building. Always check out the featured artists & enjoy Bingo nights! If in Decorah, stop in for a sip!

The Slammin’ Salmon waffle sandwich was “one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had” according to my travel partner. The lattes were fabulous! Unfortunately there were no gluten free food options.

Simple menu to read and make a selection. Lots of space and seating areas. Great place to get some work done while getting your caffeine

Enjoyed a vanilla latte with oat milk! Perfectly located downtown, large space with plenty of seating options. The staff was very friendly and quick to help. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Impact Coffee since they were located in the smaller location on Washington. The new location preserves the history of the building while helping to liven up Water Street.

Impact has the smoothest coffee and they have very unique seasonal drinks as well. They offer cocktails, beer, and wine in the evening as well. Their Norwegian Waffles make a great snack and their rotating offer of baked goods always hits the right spot (especially the scones). In their current rotation of seasonal drinks, I would highly recommend the Matcha in Missoula, with oat milk, a silky smooth, wonderfully flavored matcha is the perfect way to start your day. Or if coffee is more your speed, they make a mean pour over.

If you are looking for a nighttime activity to do on a weekend trip to Decorah, there's a good chance you may end up here - from live music to bingo (and trivia on Thursday's), Impact will keep you entertained.

Best coffee I’ve had, maybe ever in my life. They have decaf nitro cold brew, which I have never seen, and it was phenomenal! The store is really cute and cozy and it’s a great place to work solo or with friends. No WiFi, but it’s great for working without distraction :)

Really enjoyed the lingonberry cold brew on a hot Nordic Fest weekend! Tons of seating inside. Dairy alternatives and gluten free drinks. Mmmmm!

We didn't order any food so I can't rate that at this time. The coffee drinks, wine, and cocktails were wonderful.

Roomy. Old midwestern hard wood and brick building. Plenty of seating in the middle of the old world charm town of Decorah Iowa. They even have yoga upstairs. The coffee selection is first rate and so are the moening food selections. Starbucks....eat your heart out.

Coffee was amazing, not too many food options, place is accessible.

Love Impact- an absolute must stop for us when we come to town- both for morning coffee and the live music and tea or drinks at night. Great staff. Asher this weekend was wonderful, great recommendations. Awesome cafe miel and maple syrup latte.

Excellent food and drinks, wonderful service, and trendy atmosphere. It’s the type of coffee shop I could stay for hours. It’s my favorite coffee shop in Decorah.

We were visiting from out of town and we decided to check this place out. Wonderful place to go whether you're getting a cup of coffee or enjoying the music at night.

Most amazing coffee shop we have ever been to. Large main floor, a loft, and another loft above that! Cozy atmosphere, rustic, comfortable.

Very trendy atmosphere. Stopped here with my family. Chai tea was excellent. Snickers iced latte was delicious. Refuel smoothie didn’t look appetizing (green) but it was also delicious. Fast and friendly service.

I love how they have events in the evening and cocktails. They had a good variety of drinks and the space is super comfy for live music.
