Husband and I are back on the road, exploring new places. During our overnight stop, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Harrison Bay State Park, RV Campsite. Despite the slight crowd due to Fall break, the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

If you're looking for a water front site, we highly recommend sites 36 through 47. Alternatively, sites 23-28 are also great options to consider.

If you are looking for a place to camp that feels like you are in your own acreage in the woods, head to campground B at Harrison Bay State Park. We were in B39, which is situated with the woods to the front of your camper and a view of the marina to the right. A perfect spot if you have kids or grandkids that love to play outdoors. The restroom facilities at the campground are super clean, although a bit dated. The hosts do a phenomenal job in keeping everything very spotless. We were there for the big Halloween weekend (the weekend before Halloween) and this is a must see event! Truly spectacular displays by the campers with lots of candy and toys for the kids. Check out the Friends of Harrison Bay on Facebook as they always have great activities for the kids and music for the entire family. This park has several walking trails and a nice boat launch too.

We we camping on loop B, which is very nice kind of secluded, campers are a little spaced out. The sites are a tad small, but well kept up.

WARNING :::

This a a beautiful place, very quiet and respectful people around, yo will love it for the price $$ you will love it much more!

The warning sign is not agains the Animals or raccoons but the maintenance people who work here!
We move from one spot to another because we decide to stay one more night and the spot we were using it was rented food somebody Else, while we were moving our RV and all stuff ! We left the COOLER since was the heaviest one for the end!! When we get back to pick it up, it disappear ! Guess what , Maintenance workers pick it up and never report it to the office, so the office would of call us about it! But not, the decide to keep it and hide it!!
We were lucky that one of the visitors were watching what happens and they told us who took it and were they hide it!

Don’t be afraid of raccoons or any other animals, but if you decide to go out! Make sure you put everything inside your RV,

I also has to mention that one night before I left an empty iPhone 13 box on the picnic table, my daughter told me to pick it up, so I told her that was empty and either way, no body should to approach to our spot in the night!
When we wake up! Fist thing I notice was the iPhone box opened and destroyed like if someone did not like that was empty and throw it on my picnic table…
Don’t leave a value stuff around this humans raccoons” “maintenance worker” “green car” beside that Everything it’s great,
The lake…
4 shower with restrooms
Water conexión
Electrical conexión
Just beautiful !!

Great campground. Did not realize this was first state park for Tennessee. Nice very family oriented campground. The b section is for skilled experienced drivers if you are a big rig with tow. Very very tight. Price very affordable. Nice campground would recommend.

Everytime we have stayed here, it has been very quiet and peaceful. Nice playground area for grandkids and the bathhouse and restrooms are maintained very well.

It's just a beautiful place to be. We had my daughter's 16th birthday party here. I will tell you when that was she might be angry if I tell you how she is.
This pleasure was taken at 1 of the camp sites.

Stay in Campground A. Love space A18 as it is all by itself by the open field and playground. No sewer hookups but has water and electricity 50 amp
