Honeycutt Road Park

The new equipment is great. We missed the swings but there's a lot to climb and it was a nice upgrade!

My daughter had fun here! Will come again. I recommend this place of you wanna practice scooter or bike, or play catch in an open field. There's a public restroom near the tennis court and a covered shelter with tables and chairs beside the playground.

Love the tennis/pickleball courts! Also public bathrooms are always a plus. :P

UPDATE: the playground has been torn down. I am hoping that the Town of Fuquay-Varina plans to rebuild and that the new one is more accessible.

Always a family favorite. Three soccer fields, a fantastic playground with rubber mulch (unfortunately not wheelchair friendly), a .25 mile walking loop around one of the soccer fields, two pavilions, two tennis courts, and restrooms.

Mosquitoes can be rough as the park is next to a swamp.

Enjoy walking around marked paved trail of ⚽ field. 4 x around= one mile

Fun little park, definitely geared towards younger kids. Rubber chunks on the ground instead of rocks or woodchips, which my kids loved. There are benches for parents to sit on, and a soccer field right in front, so it's easy to keep an eye on all your kiddos. Just down the sidewalk a bit, two well maintained tennis courts that double nicely as pickle ball courts as well.

Nice park for kids to play. The soft chips in the playground keep the kids from getting hurt if they fall.

It also has a covered patio that provides shade and protection from rain. The over hang contains 4 long tables for get togethers and small parties. We were able to string up balloons for a toddler's birthday party.

No bathrooms in sight. The fitness club next door is nice enough to let people use their's.

Nice playground with plenty of seating for parents/those not playing which is rare these days. As a parent that has gotten confused over many of the more modern additions to public playgrounds(is that a really narrow slide with no cup to protect one from sliding off prematurely? Or is it an uphill tightrope with no supports???), this location contains 100% easily identifiable obstacles/things to do. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice, peaceful quiet, and clean! Wasn't very crowded to my surprise on such a beautiful day! Awesome place to have a picnic on the clean picnic tables under the shelter or even to throw out a blanket in the beautiful well-kept grass! They even have a very nice soccer field if you like to play! We had a great time and plan on going back

Excellent little park in Fuquay-Varina. The playground is clean and has a variety of features and is covered in mulched rubber. There are plenty of grass fields to play in and two (2) well maintained pavilions. My wife and I loved taking our 1 year old to play, and will be certainly going again

Really enjoy playing tennis here. The facilities are always in good condition. The only thing lacking is lights that are kept on for evening enjoyment. The park is sunrise to sunset though so it's not like they are not keeping up their end of the bargain. It would be a nice addition though.

Nice open space, though the fields are very hard and slope a bit. Dogs aren't allowed though people being them all the time.

Great playground next to a soccer field. Restrooms are further off but they are accessible. There is a covered area with tables but otherwise no shade during most of the day.

This is a nice park. It has a playground, covered pavilion with picnic tables, soccer fields, tennis courts, restrooms and access to a Greenway.

One of the larger and nicer public parks in Fuquay Varina.

They’ve got two soccer fields, a modest jogging track, and a pretty nice playground for the kids.

Great clean play area for small children. Some shade as well as some sun.
Swings, slides, rock wall. Picnic pavilion, lots of wide open spaces.

Nice park. Super spongy material under the equipment. Wish there was a wind break seating area for cold days!

I come to this park often for its open spaces, its clean grounds and its safe atmosphere for family or individual activity -- park management deserves commendation.
