Carmine's N.Y. Pizza Kitchen

Well, this place was great! Just visiting the area for one night, so I popped in for an eggplant parmesan with angel hair. It was fantastic. I'm intrigued when a restaurant can transcend a strip mall exterior with a pleasant dining experience!

The food was great! The pizza slices are a nice size! The service was also great! I would definitely recommend going there for lunch or dinner!!

The best calamari on the shore. No debate. Great service, prices, and the crazy lunch is also a great deal. A consistent experience every time.

Talk about a great little find. Friend of mine brought us here. Pizza was great, it had that perfect light crunch on the crust and the choices were plentiful. Our group got a variety so we could sample different flavors. The garlic knots were awesome also. Next time I go I want to try one of their sandwiches or calzones to see how they compare. And very reasonably priced also. I got two HUGE slices, the knots, and a drink for $15.

Stopped here while dealing with a long trip and traffic. Was pleasantly surprised at this NY style pizza place! And we're from NJ! Ordered a pizza and it was quick and great tasting. Will remember this place if we ever need a meal break in the area again!

I always get take out so I haven't eaten inside but great to deal with and always have your food ready when they say can't say anything bad about them at all.

We went to Carmines in Kent Island on Nov 15th, 2023. They are the epitome of how a restaurant should be. Excellent food very fresh vegetables in salad and pizza is very tasty. Very clean, front and,back, and bathrooms. We were welcomed when we came in and they told us upon leaving to have a nice rest of the day. Prices are very reasonable.
Love this place will return whenever we are here vacationing.

Great food. We stopped in on our way to my parents house. Mom had been craving a Italian sub for weeks, so we got her 1 for Mother's day. Our subs were excellent as well. Since discovered, we have stopped here each trip.
Update on 11/3/23 we stopped as usual, but for the first time, my order was wrong. Since I don't eat meat on Fridays, I'm going without dinner.
The newest stop in was 1/5/24. Everything was excellent. I think our visit before this one only happened because of being extremely busy.

Pizza was HUGE!! Great prices and pizza was delicious-- meals also looked huge but I didn't try any but looked yummy!

The pizza is delicious. Almost forgot to take a picture. Two of us were delighted with everything. My fav pizza stop on way from NC to NJ.

Great place right off the highway, I got a shrimp and scallops with pasta dish for a very reasonable price and it was quick!

We try to stop every time we cross the bridge because they have the best pizza in the area. Great creative selections like BBQ Chicken, Chicken Alfredo, and so many more. The staff is always very friendly as well. The $6.49 lunch special with a huge slice of pizza, Cesar salad and a drink is a great value too!

Great NY style pizza. Clean restroom. Clean restaurant. Salad at next table looked delicious. Little pricey but at the Bay locale. Pizza, 2 sodas, and tip was $26.

Fresh, fantastic, hot food. Pasta dishes and pizza equally great!

Just moved to this side of the Bay Bridge and we stumbled across this wonderful Italian restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. This place had an awesome Italian vibe to it. I had lasagna and a house salad. The portions were large enough that I had plenty left over to take home for dinner for the following night and I can confirm the pasta tasted even better the next night.

Pregnancy cravings have been insane. This place has saved many meal trips for my husband. I regularly get a chicken and vegetables soup, the Greek salmon wrap with fries and it's perfect every single time. Baby is always satisfied. The staff does great taking in-person and online orders. My husband loves the garlic knots.

Seriously!?! What a delightful surprise! Risotto Mignon was oh so good. My companion's steak and provolone? Yep delicious!!
Traveling over the Bay bridge toward our destination. We will stop again. Friday night busy with no delay in service. Everything dish I saw smelled and looked wonderful, while other customers devoured their selection.

Ordered lunch. Took 15 minutes because everything is made fresh. Very good!
