District 3 Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

I hate reading reviews that focus on the negative. There aren't really any negatives to mention. I was dubious about the fantastic rate- bad neighborhood? Bad bed? Dirty? NOPE! Very pleasantly surprised! Comfy, clean and the area was fine. Close to downtown (walking distance) fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Even more, I summoned up the courage to see about the free breakfast, fully expecting a smattering of cereal or some dried up muffins....NOPE! I happily loaded up on sausage, mini cheese omelettes and waffles. I highly recommend! Nice job! Although, may I suggest sliced bread or bagels @ breakfast to put in that impressive toaster?

On April 27, 2024 I visited Chattanooga for a brief vacation focused upon bicycling. The location was ideal for bicycling, and only 10 minutes away from the Arts District. The room was immaculately clean. The mattress was excellent, equal to the Tempurpedic that I have at home on a Prosmart Base. Breakfast was ample, certainly the quality of the Hampton Inns I have stayed for business. The parking was free and ample. The neighbor is safe. The hotel was quiet. I intended to visit Chattanooga frequently for brief bicycling vacations, and I intend to stay here in the future. William Conway MD

We have stayed here twice now and both times the premises and room was clean and acceptable. The staff is helpful and polite. The location is awesome. It’s literally right off I24 and close to everything.

I am an HOA property manager. Tonight I reserved a conference room at this hotel for an HOA election meeting. This location was the closest to the homeowners, hence the choice. The owner/manager was as gracious and kind as I have seen. He printed things I needed, helped me get set up, helped us figure out the big screen for the Zoom option, and more. I couldn't have been more pleased. If you are in need of a conference room and don't want to pay insane downtown Chattanooga conference room prices, this is your place.

Price was great, hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. I have to say a special thank you to Kayla and her mother that do the breakfast. I have Parkinson and Kayla went out of her way to help me when I needed it. Those women work hard and aren't recognized as much as they deserve.

Can tell that it's been updated. Did not see any bugs. Staff was real helpful and pleasant. Morning continental breakfast was eggs,waffles,sausage, bagels,muffins,apples,cereal, yogurt, coffee and variety of juice. Variety of Condiments to go with everything. Room was comfortable and clean. Parking lot was well lit.

This hotel is very well kept & extremely clean!! I have been here 3 nights so far and it’s in an amazing location with many things to see & do. Wonderful places to eat nearby as well. Everyone on this hotel staff are top notch folks and it truly feels like a home away from home. I appreciate you all so much!!! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Chattanooga!!! I stayed at this location in September for the Ironman. They were so welcoming and friendly. I was so pleased with my stay. They even went out of their way to make breakfast for the athletes before we left to go downtown on race morning! The location was a 5 minute ride from the Ironman village. Even if you're not competing in the Ironman, this is a fantastic place to stay during your visit to Chattanooga. The cost was also very affordable. I'll be back and can't wait to see you all again in 2024!

The rooms are nice. Beds are decent. The AC works very well. They have a hot breakfast downstairs and it was yummy. I didn't see any bugs or had any issues in the room. When you leave the entrance, you have a nice view of the mountain.

Loved the Scenic City design inspiration throughout. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful.💛 They had a lot of snacks for sale which is convenient late at night. Snacks offered included Hagen dazs bars, tuna w crackers, chips, apple juice, etc. The furniture had sparkles on it and the head rest was vinyl snake skin material which was very stylish, with even the shade having a photo of Chattanooga on the back. Nice view out the window of Chattanooga and convenient to downtown. The bed was very comfortable. They had bath n body works toiletries. They offer adjoining rooms for large families or groups that are traveling together too. They had a fridge, microwave, and an ice machine at the end of the hallway which is nice. They keep the door locked past a certain time so it is very secure. The bathroom was very fancy how the towels were folded. Great price for a very nice hotel. Definitely would recommend staying here as a top choice on your next visit to Chattanooga.

The hotel was clean and smelled fresh! Floors, walls, bedding, bathroom, and breakfast area. All of it! Front desk staff were very warm and welcoming and a great location for going any which way in Chattanooga. Breakfast was really good and fresh too. Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat!

I was impressed with this hotel!! Clean comfortable beds & the kids loved the pool! Nice outdoor seating area. Bet relaxing No hassle! Easy check in & house keeping doesn’t disturb guest at all! Very nice showers!

Nice and clean. Rooms are cozy our balcony was on the pool side. The pool is way bigger than most. It is 12ft on one end and 3 ft on the other. There is also barbecue grills and a fire pit to use as well. If you have dogs, they even have a pet area.
The fitness room has several options for workouts and there is also guest laundry services. The breakfast area is also nice with several options to eat, a juice machine with 3 different juices and water option and of course good coffee.
Highly recommend staying here if you are in Chattanooga TN.

Nice clean hotel. The front desk employees are extremely friendly and the breakfast was very good! It’s a little dated but that doesn’t bother me. I just want a nice safe place to lay my head without the extra critters brought home with me. No sign of roaches or bed bugs!

Very pleased In our decision to book with this hotel. The rooms and amenities are nice, great location to downtown without being in the center of all the traffic, and the staff is excellent! All very friendly and willing to accommodate the guests however they can to make their stay the best possible!

This hotel punches above its weight imo. Slightly eclectic with balconies on one side of building. Always clean when I’ve been there. Andy at the front desk is always very helpful to all his guests and I told him thanks for the service and I’d write a review.

We had a fantastic stay here this last week. Upon arrival I had discovered I booked a single rather than double queen room and the gentleman working the counter graciously upgraded us at no charge to a room that would accommodate our whole party. The room was clean and while the hotel was visibly older it was well kept. The breakfast was also great. If there is one downside getting into the parking lot is a little difficult but this is primarily a result of road construction.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff and front desk were always polite and helpful. Balcony over the pool and court yard. Court yard has tables two grills bag set gas firepit and lounge chairs, next to the fences in large pool 3-12 feet deep. Our kids 7-17 loved it. Breakfast was good. Juice coffee n milk were available. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt bar, fruit, ceral, oatmeal and muffins, and more were available. I would definitely stay here again our stay here was 3 nights.

Great room, great service, great pool area and a very good breakfast area with phenomenal service with friendly people. The only downside was we were harassed by a few homeless people in the parking lot. But I put that on the city. Not the hotel.

This hotel is perfect for me and my small dog. I stay here often to paddleboard around Chattanooga. I think I've stayed at least 5 times now. They always take great care of me and make things right if/when there have been any problems with my room or stay. Several folks who work at the front desk have been there for years, which is always a good sign.
