Shoe Express of Independence

Some of the stitching popped on a pair of my work boots that were around a month old and instead of exchanging them and going through that whole process I decided to try this place. They were fast, affordable and knowledgeable and even reinforced my other boot so I didn't end up having the same problem. I'm super grateful!!

This is probably one of the best shoe repair shops in Kansas City. Very honest very good at what he does and if you make some mistake, he’ll make it up to you believe me so if you want a good shoe repair or leather shop it’s worth the drive and worth your time.

Honestly the place was quite simple and welcoming on the inside. Service was amazing and they were quite nice to me and my friends, if you are looking for a nice and quite tasty place to get tea, this is the place!

I have a 6 year old pair of boots that I wear daily and fit perfectly. I recently noticed the stitching on the top of one started to come undone. I googled and found Shoe Express. Drove over and was greeted by a man with a smile. I asked if he could repair and he looked them over, sat down , at stitched them right up. He suggested that I apply mink oil occasionally to help prevent future issues.
I was in and out in 8 minutes. The cost was better than expected! I will absolutely come back for any future repairs. A++

I took my “project” to them. They looked it over and told me they could do it. It was quick and perfect. The cost was very reasonable and they were a pleasure to work with.

My husband takes his boots there and is impressed with the quality of the work. The person who works on the shoes is very thorough and takes the time to explain what needs to be done.

Have taken several pairs of boots to get resolved over the years and have always been pleased with the work. Last week I brought in a favorite pair of leather boots my dog decided he like more, the cobbler accepted the challenge of the repairs and the end result was AMAZING!!

I had 4 pairs of shoes worked on, one pair was over 50 years old, they were able to restore them to new! My other pairs were inexpensive shoes that I purchased on Amazon and they upgraded them all with better soles and non slick soles for my heels. I have absolutely no complaints, don't lose your order tkt, they have so many shoes inside their shop that they're working on, it would be near impossible to find your shoes if you don't have your tkt. They did great work for me and very fair priced.

Needed a new piece of Velcro on a brand new pair of boots. Brought my boot in, prepared to leave it for repair, but 5 minutes and $5 later I was walking out with a functional boot. I was thankful to be able to wear my boot right away and thankful to be saved a trip returning for pickup.

We went there this past week, got my husband's shoes fixed by them and ready to pick up next day. Reasonable prices, and bonus great cleaning and polishing. Would highly recommend them.

I have used this shop over the last year to repair 10 ebay/ poshmark finds. the owner is reasonable and sticks to the quality of his work.

Had some shoes that got put threw a house fire . He cleaned them up and salvaged what he could turned out way better than I expected also took him some batting gloves that needed some work haven’t gotten those back yet but I’m sure they’ll be good as well

Great service, work and price. New soles, insoles, laces and oil on the boots to make them like new again!
