McCormick's Pub and Restaurant

Amazing delicious food. The service was top notch and they were very attentive. Had a great view of the lake outside and even though it was cold outside they had heaters and a weather barrier. The food was fresh and was seasoned well. I got the burrata toast and he got the Diane burger. Will definitely come back again.

The food was really tasty and filling. Our server was very nice. We ordered truffle fries, salmon and quinoa bowl, and chicken pot pie.

Outstanding food and service. Had a special Brazilian steak plate for the entree, plus truffle fries, ham/cheese/potato soup (truly outstanding!), and a crème brûlée. Our waiter Drew gave great attention while being friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely find our way back the next time we were in Minneapolis.

Edit- we went back again the same week! Food was just as good and Harper was a wonderfully friendly waitress. Exceptional staff at this restaurant! Kudos to whoever hires and trains them.

Delightful place with splendid food and cool atmosphere! We had the fried chicken sandwich, shrimp po’boy, oysters and drinks. Didn’t break the bank and we had a gorgeous view of the lake.

We are huge fans of McCormick’s best Irish pub fused with a Brazilian influence, in the Twin Cities! Recently enjoyed the Brazilian. Recently enjoyed the Brazilian BBQ with a Guinness.

St. Paddy's Day celebration was a great time! We had traditional corned beef, our waitress was excellent, and a VERY FUN afternoon. Complete with Irish dancing and a bagpiper!

Super friendly staff. Didn't give us a hard time for ordering specialty orders.
Order two classics and added bacon, and our side was fries.
Took a little bit to get home as we picked it up. But even 10-15 minutes later, it was still delicious.
The bacon we weren't sure about before ordering and so we just went with it.
Parking was a little full today. It's was beautiful out so totally understandable.
Anyways. We had a great visit for the first time and the food was deliciously mouthwatering.
If you haven't tried this place..you should!!

Stopped at the public docks while on Lake Minnetonka to go grab some dinner with the family. This was a super close spot to the docks and seemed family friendly with outdoor seating (partially covered, so it was nice and shady on a hot day). The atmosphere was great and the staff were super nice.

The kids ordered cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. My daughter thought they were one of the best Cheeseburgers she has had lol. My son's chicken tenders were amazing, not your standars kids chicken tenders (had to try a bite).

We ordered some food to share. We got the Wings, Tenderloin Sliders with Truffle Fries and this new brazilian dish (forgot what it was called). Everything tasted delicious.

No complaints, however it's definitely not the least expensive casual family dinner, but nothing less to expect from a nice restaurant in Wayzata. We will definitely be back.

In a world of trendy, hit or miss restaurants, this was a breath of fresh air. Great food created professionally and creatively. Everything was very good. Service was professional and timely. All in all a great dinner experience in a lovely setting. We will be back! They do the small, medium, and big things right!

Great location and possible best outdoor seating on lake with a wonderful canopy to shield from sun. Diverse pub style menu offering burgers to steaks to some traditional Irish food items like corn beef and cabbage. Great value.....well worth a visit.

Great food and excellent, attentive service. The lobster and shrimp linguine was very tasty, as was the beer cheese soup. Parking can be challenging but there is on street and ramps nearby. Just across the street from the waterfront with nice views.

Amazing food and service. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and it feels like you’ve stepped into an Irish pub in Dublin. The menu has a nice variety of traditional irish fare as well as Americana cuisine. The owner was out doing table touches and working just like the employees, which is refreshing to see and makes me all the more impressed with the establishment. We have already made plans to return again so we can sit on the patio and try some of the other entrees on the menu we were not able to try the first time. They also know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness, and the wings were some of the best wings I have had in a long time. If you love a good burger make sure you try the McCormick burger with truffle fries!! Keep up the great work!!

Great food and atmosphere! The steamed clams were delicious. The fish and chips were quite good (the tartar sauce was great), the braised beef and scallop sliders were small but filling. But the best part of the meal was the butternut squash soup. Absolutely to die for! Our waitress, Jennifer, was pleasant and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a delicious birthday dinner! We will definitely visit again.

A stunning, sunny afternoon spent sitting at a patio table with my son, gazing out over the lake while enjoying fabulous food and drinks, matched with top-notch service describes my first visit at McCormick’s! Thank you so much- we plan to come back soon 😊 The Ahi tuna wonton appetizers are amazing… the crème brûlée - the best we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!

Neat Irish Pub with some great food. We started with Crispy Wings as an appetizer. They were indeed crispy, yet also moist and the chilli glaze was delicious. For our entrees, we went with the Apple Sweet Potato Curry Soup, Braised Beef & Scallop Sliders and McCormick's Burger (see photos) - all of which we greatly enjoyed. A highly recommended stop.

It's great having a proper Irish pub in town, and McCormick's Pub and Restaurant in Wayzata hits the mark. Overlooking beautiful Lake Minnetonka, this place blends traditional Irish vibes with awesome Continental and Nouveau American dishes.

We had a Guinness, French onion soup, tartare, fried clams, a tasty burger on a potato bun, a bottle of white wine, and ended with a hazelnut mousse. My daughter loved the mousse.

The staff at McCormick's are top-notch. Drew, our waiter, was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Cait was hilarious with my daughter, making her laugh and feel special. My daughter asked Cait for a to-go box for the first time ever, and Cait even let her put her crayons in it. That made her day!

Sitting on the patio, with Lake Minnetonka in the distance and hearing the chatter of passerby’s was simply wonderful. It’s a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy life.

Whether you're grabbing lunch, hitting up Happy Hour, or settling in for a full dinner, McCormick's Pub and Restaurant offers a unique and memorable experience.

walked right into happy hours, prices are unbeatable and plenty to choose from. Fried clams are so delicious, calamari fans you got to try these, well seasoned and not chewy. Friendly service.

Great location, right opposite the boating dock.
Simple yet decent ambiance.
Excellent food, service.

Vegetarian fills might feel daunted with little vegetarian menu. But one can replace meat with Fake meat (Soy based) and the dish can be customised.

Worth a visit.

As a Wayzata native, McCormick's Pub is a corner gastro pub that I've come to treasure when I visit home. Gone is Sunset's, gone is Bellecour, and long gone is its predecessor, Blue Point... but McCormick's remains as a fixture on Lake Street - and is always a favorite! I'd also recommend Maggie's Restaurant down the street for pizza night. That was always a family fave growing up and I'm so appreciative that it's still here!

McCormick's was unexpectedly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. (We're usually moreso burger joint types.) The décor is luxe and ritzy and the menu was quite expensive, but we came for our anniversary, so we splurged on snails and rosé anyways. It was both of our first time trying escargot. I probably wouldn't order it again, but I'm glad we tried it! Excellent beef tartare. The shepherd's pie was the best I've ever had. The lobster roll was decadent and the crusted walleye left me wanting for nothing. Absolutely recommend this place to anybody passing thru the area who can afford it.
