Maggie's Restaurant

This place is a legendary breakfast joint on Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata. It's a small place, but the turnover on tables is pretty quick, so it's completely worth the 10 -15 minute wait. The pancakes are light and fluffy with a great smooth buttermilk flavor. The american fries are fried perfectly. The eggs are cooked always to order. The Italian sausage is perfectly spiced and fresh. It's the place to try if you're around the lake and want a great classic breakfast.

What a find! Like an old Perkins before they became so corporate. Food was great. Our party got eggs Benedict which has a pretty solid hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs and the ham was delicious. Blueberry pancakes also delicious with whipped cream. Chili was reported as "good, but not hot (temperature-wise)" and the cornbread was ok if a little dry. Commercial (open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy) was pretty exceptional with a focus on the gravy that really made the whole meal... side of green beans with it was useless and very bland. Other food items were pretty good as well.

Service was solid, place was pretty packed and 2 servers were perfect, you could tell well seasoned veterans and deserving of being such with the high quality of attention provided to our 7 person party.

Restaurant was pretty clean despite the "run down" ambience that was intentional and adorable. The bit of feedback is the fans in the bathroom are super dusty and gross, and there's no "touchless" opportunities for the door.

Otherwise very happy we found this place. Oh, and very reasonably priced on everything. Despite being in Wayzata, they aren't trying to gouge their customers which is a huge plus.

My family and I have been eating at Maggie's since the 80's. Maggie's is a family-run business so you can feel good about where your dollar is going. Their breakfast is good, but their thin crust pizza is always out of this world every. single. time. They put toppings (pepperoni, onions, green peppers, etc.) under the cheese so it get delightfully mixed in with the tomato sauce and is insulated by the melted cheese layer on top. I have yet to see anyone else do pizza like Maggie's. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in MN to visit family!

Found Maggie’s on Google and it was great! The server was new although maybe that’s good as she made up for it with willingness to help and friendliness making the experience excellent. The Calzone came out faster than expected and was perfect. I’ll be back!

Maggie's is a refreshing change. Walking into Maggie's is a trip to when a restaurant was like going home. The food, service, and atmosphere are wonderful and down to earth. Real food! Not some foo foo dish that some Chef thinks only he can make. At Maggie's you don't need to ask "is the (name a Dish) good"... because everything is really good.

We walked in on a Saturday morning at 9am. We had a group of 5. We got lucky and a table cleared just as we got there. The place was packed. We got waited on immediately, with menus in hand. Our orders were taken and our food came amazingly fast. Our waitress was fantastic. All of us were pleased with our food. I'd come back again.

The service was fast and friendly! The menu was so full that they had to use about an 8 pt font to fit it all in. Everyone at our table was pleased with their order. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavor on savory and sweet items was great. We were there for breakfast, and it was a great start to a morning walking around in the neighborhood.

HOT FRESH FOOD!! The menu is never ending and the whole family should be able to find something they like! Staff are friendly and attentive! Bathrooms were clean and stocked! Restaurant was VERY CLEAN and the decor was nice! They're in a strip mall with many other stores, so that was a plus also!!

This restaurant has been a Wayzata go to for many years. Great American and Italian food. Must try the pizza, suggest double thin crust if ordering medium or large size. Cheese and sauce are delicious on pizza. Pasta, burgers, breakfast, it's all well prepared. Great place for a variety of appetites.

I grew up in Wayzata. My family continues to meet up at Maggie’s. My grandson loves the breakfast choices. Especially the French toast. Not to mention, the best pizza by far!!!

It's the only place in wayzata I know I'm gonna get good food everytime. The pizza is good. I would suggest the garlic cheese bread, and their fries are amazing. I've also had a blueberry malt here and that was amazing as well!!

Great local restaurant. My wife and I go there for breakfast at least once or twice a week. Service is very good even when crowded on weekends. I would highly recommend.

Our waitress was a little forgetful but the food was AMAZING ! Highly recommend crab cake bene. Hashbrowns were cooked PERFECTLY. Will be back :)

The best french toast you’ll ever have and the cutest syrup cups I’ve ever seen. Feels like you’re in the kitchen in a good way, very homey.

Great diner. Food here is really good. I had the rubin sandwich and the cuban sandwich. Both were tasty.

It was such a cute, cozy family diner. Very friendly and prompt service, the menu is HUGE with an amazing variety of food. Everything from Pizza, Calzones, Breakfast all day, Burgers, Salads, Pasta and more! food was hot, and tasted excellent!!! will definitely be returning!

I love the food here! You can’t go wrong with any menu item. The wait staff are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming! There are a variety of menu options, so this restaurant is perfect for anyone.

Maggie's Restaurant is a favorite place in Wayzata for breakfast! It has the charm of a small town cafe where people like to meet, chat and enjoy a great meal!

Their all day breakfast is a great option and the food and service is consistently good.
That and their reasonable pricing, is what brings us back each week.
