Burgertown Dairy Freeze

Great local burger! Even the taste is not that different from fast food chain and not that outstanding, you can feel how crafty and delicate it is. The seats and tables are nice to eat and hangout. I assumed that this restaurant is really popular in this area because there were a lot of the car drive in and out for 2-3 hours. The car parking is around 10 cars capacity.

Honestly, a cheeseburger is my favorite food of all time and the burger here ranks in my top 5… absolutely incredible taste that you can’t get anywhere else. The fries are also very good with the incredible fry sauce.

My family makes fun of me for it but this is always a must have on our trips here. So good!

This local dive was super cute and the food was great! We really enjoyed our burgers and fries, the fry sauce, and our milkshakes. Although we waited less than 10 minutes for our food ordered at 1115, customers had a 20 min wait by 1145. It’s still a great place to eat if you don’t have a lot of time to dine.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. I got the Flathead monster and my husband got the Magnum P-I-G with fries and a huckleberry shake. My husband said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had. The fry sauce and the ranch were delicious!! The huckleberry shake (also delicious) had pieces of whole berries in it. We waited 20 minutes but it was worth the wait!

Great burger stand that is a regular stop for our family when we’re in the Flathead valley. Walk-up service from a super friendly cashier/manager. There is often a wait to get your food that they will always inform you of when you order. Get a beeper and you can explore nearby while you wait.

They do take credit cards, but have cash in your pocket. Phone coverage can be spotty in the area so sometimes the card reader is unavailable.

Quick aside: When the power went out during our last visit, they kept the grill running for us and completed the order! Above and beyond.

Mostly outdoor seating (or take-away) but there are about 5 tables available inside.

The fried pork sandwich and Flathead Monster burger are my favorites. Shakes are great, but I don’t order them often (saving the carbs for the burger bun and a couple fries). All in all, recommended if you’re in the area, but be aware it may take a few minutes to complete your order.

The Flathead Monster burger was FANTASTIC!!! The waffles fries and onion rings as well were delicious!! Mint chocolate chip shake was refreshing and the ice cream cones were more than satisfying!
(It was my very first job back in 1985 and the food is still great!!)
Just don't park in front of the apartments, unless you live there, you will get towed!

This place is better than any road side burger stand should be. The service was very friendly. Our burgers came out quick, were fresh and HOT, and they got our semi-complicated order 100% correct. The Huckleberry milkshakes were amazing!

Edit: I love the Viking burger. Have eaten 4x in past month. People come to visit, I’m I drive them 45min to go to Burger Town!! P.s. best fries in a 100mi radius.

Oh and one other thing, if any review complains about the wait time, the staff gives you a pretty close estimate of how long it is going to be as soon as you get to the window. Is there a wait sometimes? Yeah but this is example a place that has a wait because it’s great.

Where I come from this would not qualify as a “dairy bar” as ice cream is soft serve. That said Viking Monster burger was excellent. Picky about buns. Burgertown delivered a nice warm, appropriately proportioned one. Good food, good price, will return.

Great burgers, fresh fries, and real ice cream shakes. It's not fast food, it took 20 minutes to get a couple of burgers, and the staff was frazzled - maybe understaffed. This place always seems to be super busy. But the food was worth the wait. Fries were fresh and hot. The basic burger was hot and delicious. The chicken fingers were large, real chicken breast and also fresh and hot.

Best burger ever! Hate that the secert is out but worth the wait everytime. Everything is made from scratch. Hand cut fries, delicious onion rings, thick shakes and yummy fry sauce. You won't be disappointed!

Be sure to stop here on your trip to the Flathead Valley! One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten! Even better than In and Out! This place is always packed. Friendly service, quality food, mom and pop restaurant, Montana history! Seating outside.

Great place to stop for a burger. I had one of their monster burgers. It was really good, juicy, hot, and fresh. Had their Huckleberry shake. Great meal.

Stopped by on 7/30 after a week’s work in the Bob and inhaled the 1/2 pound burger. The staff truly went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, the restaurant was spotless, and the food was amazing. I can’t wait to come back and will be recommending it to everyone I know passing through Bigfork.

5 STARS… if only for the Huckleberry Milkshake. The burgers are very good, not amazing, but very good. Again, get the huckleberry milkshake.

I got the mushroom/Swiss- it was good, but lacked flavor.
My wife got the Flathead Monster - said it was greasy, but good.

The fries were great. Get the fry sauce though.

Yes, they're really busy often, because they're really popular. But when you can get a pretty great 1/4 pound burger for $6.75, that's what happens.
Seriously, don't miss this place.

Best burger in town! I Love the fast service and convenient location. Good amount of seating outside and some inside too. Great milkshakes, fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches and soda. My personal favorite burger is the mushroom swiss. They keep a jug of free ice water for people waiting on food outside to the left of the order/pickup window.

10/10 burgers and perfect menu options for some variety. Perfectly cheesy, well cooked, delicious flavored patties! Onion rings and fries are delicious too!

The food was amazing! Well worth the 30 minutes. The woman that helped my wife and I had the absolute most beautiful green eyes. The dinner was clean and fun.
