Black Rock Coffee Bar

I came here because a coworker of mine told me about this place especially since I am anti Starbucks. I walked in and was greeted right away. The place looked very clean and inviting on the inside. The menu was easy to read. I ordered an iced large caramel blondie. It had a great taste to it and it didn’t taste watered down to the end. I noticed a lot of families come in so that was cool to see. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely come back. Oh they played really good music too.

They are open for business. This place looks really cool, giant murals cover some walls with sputnik style lights all over, lots of barn wood on some walls. My wife got a great frozen blended thingy while I enjoyed a hot cappuccino. I'll post a plethora of pics for your enjoyment.
I bought a bag of whole beans and they were very good, I don't know if it's normal procedure but there's no roast date on the bag.

Vibe- This is another cute and cozy coffee shop to come to study, work, or just hang out with friends over coffee! There’s some seating outside and plenty inside. I love the colorful paintings on the wall and the light fixtures are so cute!

Customer service- Great!

Food/drinks- I ordered a matcha latte on my very first visit and it was tasty.

Parking- There’s parking in the lot and also a drive thru too!

Stopped going to starbucks because I love black rock so much! I come here very often to study and really enjoy their coffee and energy drinks. My issue with starbucks is that when I get soy milk as an alternative it’s always chunky at the bottom, this NEVER happens at black rock. The staff here is always super nice and chit chat with customers if they get a chance to. It’s also really clean inside and out. If you ever stop by and don’t know what to get, they give amazing recommendations!

Really cool place. Music can be a little on the loud side for conversation but meh. The bacon and egg Danish is great. Coffee is excellent as well. Despite being really busy parking was easy and there were plenty of available spots. This will definitely be a go-to when I'm in the Houston area.

love this place!! my drink is perfect every single time. i get the chai tea latte with almond milk and vanilla. very welcoming environment. ☺

Solid coffee & vibe. This is the best coffee bar in the area (Pearland coffee roasters is close second). The blackout mocha, chocolate chip chiller, and mint chip chiller is definitely worth it.

This place is great! As soon as you walk in, the shop is filled with an amazing coffee smell and loud rap music. Such a unique take on a coffee shop I haven’t seen before. The espresso was great and so was the oatmilk they use!! My only critique is that both days I went here, the first sip I took of my iced latte it was kinda warm. Even though there was ice in it. I ended up asking for extra ice because it immediately melted. I’m not sure if the boxes of oatmilk y’all used that day were room temp but idk it was just my experience. The GF coffee cake muffin was delicious. Love when coffee shops have GF options. It’s funny that it’s across from Starbucks, I would MUCH rather go here then across the street. Also, I liked how the front of the building opened up like a garage. Really cool place!!

Caramel Blondie chiller is my obsession!!! And the Fuel drinks are great for a burst of energy if you're not in a coffee mood

Went to Black Rock this morning. The service was great and tasty energy drink!

Great coffee shop ambience. Warning that they play loud pop music if you don’t mind it while doing work. Yummy coffee. Best thing here is the lighting! Super bright to fuel your work session.

Coffee was delicious! The iced Caramel chiller and hot caramel truffle coffee were 10/10. Absolute cute spot as well with a drive through!

I have been during happy hour a couple times now and I love it. The people are friendly and the coffee is amazing. My new favorite place

Service was awesome and coffee was yummy! Love the options for kids and ability to swap milk choices. Will definitely be back to try more soon!

Tried this out for the first time with the family, been meaning to and Starbucks line was crazy. We received our drinks with no issues, they offer military discount, so it was a plus for me. Overall, I enjoyed the cappuccino, kid's loved the hot cocoa and whatever sweet drink the wife ordered, she chugged it. I recommend this place as a must try. Will be returning.

Tried one of their most popular drinks, the Caramel Blondie, which is blended coffee. It was nice. Not overly sweet.

It's nicely decorated. Cool artwork on the walls. They have a drive-through and provide indoor & outdoor seating. Several people were there working on their laptop.

Overall, it's a nice spot to come grab a Iced or blended drink and just do some work or a read a book.

Drive through was easy, quick, professional. The gentleman that took my order was very professional and made a Bada** Mexican mocha coffee. The lady at the drive through helped me sign my husband up for birthday rewards and was very kind and helpful. The inside looked super cool from what I could see. I will be bringing them my money from now on instead of the competitors. Thanks guys!

I recently went through the drive-through of Black rock. My son who is on the spectrum was having a meltdown. The staff could definitely hear it while I was waiting in the drive-through line in my car. When I got to the window, I’m pretty sure the staff could see how overwhelmed I felt on my face. I don’t space want to say the staff members name but they ended up giving me the coffee for free. I desperately needed the coffee and that small gesture made my day. Thank you thank you thank you♥
