Holiday Acres Christmas Tree Farm

It was a Wonderful Day. A Beautiful Place to enjoy a Day with Family and Children. My Granddaughter visited with a Pony and Goat. She slid down a Hay Hill and climbed the big hay bales. We took a Hay Ride, found our tree and cut it down. We rode the Hay Ride back with our Tree and they tied it up for us while we Roasted Marshmallows and made Smores at the Fire Pit. We drank Hot Chocolate, Hot Apple Cider and relaxed at a Picnic Table while our Granddaughter Played some more. We were enjoying ourselves so much we did not want to go home. The people were so Friendly and Helpful. You are really missing something if you don't make this an Annual Christmas Tradition for your Family. We will definitely be getting our Tree this way every year from now on.

I was so happy to have Holiday arces for our daughters wedding reception celebration. It was such a wonderful venue. Leigh Ann was so wonderful to work with. Was very accomidating and responsive. We loved using the bridal cottage for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, it was airconditioned and had accomidations for food, vanities for hair and make and plenty of room for all 8 girls and me to spend time getting ready together. We used the Barn for the cocktail hour and the pavillion for a beautiful reception. We had 100 guests and had more than enough room for tables, buffet, bar, DJ and a large dance floor. October was the perfect month to enjoy this venue.

It was a great experience. Today was beautiful and on days like today they have a tractor that can take you to the back area of the farm. You do need to make reservations or find a photographer that has a time slot there.

Great venue for wedding -- twinkly lights and clean rustic look! The staff was wonderful and Leigh Ann Smith is quick with communication and helpful with planning process. Loved my experience!

I had my wedding here on 7/25/2020 and it was so amazing. The owner Leigh ann is extremely accommodating and great to work with. It was raining that day and they set up a tent for me to stand under before walking down the isle! Our reception was outside and no rain got under the pavilion. I really couldnt be happier. 2 weeks before the wedding we had our final meeting and I noticed some wasps and mentioned I was nervous about them. She went out of her way to spray before my wedding and made sure it was wasp free! 5/5 stars!

We come here every year to get a Christmas tree and it’s always a great experience. Fun for kids with animals and complimentary cocoa and apple cider.

What a wonderful place. Enjoyed a cider before a nice hayride, cutting an Arizona cypress was super easy… smells great! Fresh tree. Easy process. I’d do it again next year for sure!!

We held an indoor/outdoor engagement ceremony and reception at the Barn at Holiday Acres last month (May). It was a pleasure working with the venue manager Leigh Ann, she was very professional, accommodating, and flexible in addressing our needs. Despite a downpour of rain during the day, we were able to coordinate with her and the vendors, to successfully carry through the event without any major hiccups! The venue itself is gorgeous and a great deal through the event packages offered. Definitely consider this place for receptions, weddings, ceremonies, and parties of all types!

Fantastic family experience! Yes, there were some bugs and ants, but it’s nature and the outdoors, so we just watched where we walked. Very friendly staff, eager and hard working. They obviously want to make this a fun time for all! Lots of little photo op places throughout to take some pictures while looking for a tree!

A cute family farm. It took us awhile to find a good tree, but I'm also really picky. They have great wreaths and some other decor, as well as some slides /animals/ hay bales for the kiddos. This is definitely a country, family farm atmosphere so it's not going to be big and crazy with tons of activities like Dewberry. They provide apple cider and hot cocoa complimentary. Everyone is very friendly!

Holiday Acres is an amazing place!!! Lots of different sizes of trees from 5 to 11 feet, even on the day before closing! It's definitely a family environment with grass sledding, and a five foot tall hay bales to run on. Free hot cider and cocoa. Along with snore supplies to buy to make over the warm fire! A hay ride takes you back into the tree farm, and to pick you back up!!

Great place! Came for the first time today with family of 7. Professional service, fun time, not too crowded, open areas with stuff for kids to do. We will be coming back!!!

Wonderful experience for the grandbabies to drink hot chocolate by the fire pit. While we waited for our turn to go out on the hayride to the tree farm to pick our tree and cut it down ourselves. Staff friendly and very helpful will be a new tradition for our family.

Wonderful family experience! There was a large selection of trees and plenty of friendly staff to help. They shake the trees, then tie them up which was nice. They also had cute decorations for sale and activities for the kids. Highly recommend!

1st year going to this tree farm but it will not be the last. The staff very very nice the process so quick and easy and the prices were very reasonable for all of their Christmas trees, wreaths, and other holiday treats and offerings. Do keep in mind this family business needs your support And their only open For a couple of weeks and then their season is over for the year.

We had so much fun! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they pointed us to a corner with some excellent trees to choose from. We saw some ants and wasps, but that’s to be expected. Leave them alone and they leave you alone. Overall it was a great experience and the memories made will last a lifetime.

Bonus points for being dog friendly, just pick up your poopies!

i was so shocked to find such a gorgeous venue space in south texas! not to mention christmas trees?! the venue space is brand new, spacious, full kitchen and sparkling bathrooms. my event was truly one of a kind - we were able to do smores, have our own caterer, amazing photo ops and our guests had plenty of room to hang out or check out the farm. would highly recommend for your next event, the owners are very flexible to work with and are truly invested in making your experience one of a kind.
