Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I went there today to redeem my free double cheeseburger courtesy of T-Mobile. The burger was fresh and tasted great. I stole a few fries from my son and they were hot and fresh. Best food I have had from there ever!

What a surprise! I have missed Steak n Shake and Freddy’s was a worthy replacement!! The food was delicious, the price was great and the staff was warm, friendly and patient with our questions. We will definitely be going back!

This was our first visit to any Freddy’s back on July 10 and upon arrival I was discussing the menu with my young daughter and someone who I thought was a patron eating dinner with her family chimed in to assist with the menu and tell me all the kids menu options and go over everything including things to do in the area as we’re from Northwest IN. Come to find out this was the Assistant Manager Gwen who had just clocked out for the day. I warned her we had a very large party arriving and it was all our first time. Gwen not only hopped back up to assist her crew, she did so happily and eagerly. She helped everyone out patiently and with a smile giving us recommendations. She even made the atmosphere more energetic handing out balloons to the kiddos and made the birthday boy’s day with a whipped cream surprise. What manager goes above and beyond like this AFTER CLOCKING OUT, with a smile, with a LARGE party? Typically we’d get eyes rolled at us as we enjoy being together as a family but suffer through rude staffing at other places. Everyone should take a lesson in customer service from Gwen. Give her a raise and promotion. She should be heading up HR. Truly. Such a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again! Also this burger was delicious and IMO beats culvers steak and shake and even my favorite schoops!! That says a lot!

Had an amazing experience!! The drive thru was fast and the workers were so kind! Extra shout out to Jessica and Nevaeh, these two were so sweet and paid extra attention to detail in my order! Thank you ❤

I was surprised when I was the only person here, but I had some time, and it gave me a chance to look around.
So many stores show signs of wear and it makes you think they don't care at all. But this place is clean! The fabric on the seats looks brand new, no seat was ripped or damaged, the vents are clean, the light fixtures are dust free, and I'm genuinely impressed with how awesome this restaurant looks.
Add to that, the staff were very friendly and the food was very good.
I've only been here once before, and that was when they first opened. But I can really appreciate the quality of the business today and wish them great success.
I do a lot of reviews here, but I usually don't seek the business to post the review. I did this time.

It was good food and a nice place to enjoy eating.

We were on our way back from a 6 month visit to Hines VA hospital where my husband has routine check ups for his skin cancer. These trips usually leave us in quite somber head space.
We were hungry by the time we made it to Frankfort, Illinois.
We seen that there was a new place we hadn't seen before and decided to stop at Freddy's.
We ordered in the drive thru and sat in the parking lot to have our food.
I can not even explain the change in atmosphere in our vehicle that day.
To say that Freddy's food is amazing is an understatement.
Their customer service is top notch, their food is extraordinary and definitely good for our soul that day.
We just visited there yet again on a down day Sept. 2nd, 2023.
Again, outstanding customer service and extraordinary food that lifted our spirits on a bad day.
I wish that we had a Freddy's in Bradley Illinois...hint hint!!
Do not hesitate to visit this establishment, it's more than food, it's an experience.

This place was great! The service was excellent and all of the food was very good.

Food was good, workers were nice and polite. Everything was out fast and the restraunt was clean.

I was there on Monday August 8th Around 12:45 maybe 1pm it took a little bit to get my food but it was hot and the same woman that greeted me did apologize for the wait and I told her I see she’s short staffed but they were hustling back there. Food was delicious by the way fries hot burger hot custard nice and creamy. But I did whiteness a very ignorant guest demanding a refund he was given said refund and was told have a good day. He continued to try to belittle this woman and as an adult he should be shamed of himself. I appreciate this Freddy’s this is the only one I go to now. I don’t know her name but I just want to say thank you for your service and don’t let one ignorant person ruin your smile.

The food was definitely good, but not memorable. Great service, great atmosphere. Not a fan of the skinny fries at all.

I must say I was a little leery of the shoestring fries but they were hot and they remained hot throughout the entire time I was eating. The steak burger was seasoned to perfection not overly salty. The staff were nice and friendly they even took the time out to show me the app so I can receive and redeem points. Without a doubt I would recommend Freddy's to everyone I know. Great job, excellent food made to order.

First time here and it was fantastic. The food is much better than I was expecting for this type of restaurant. The price is very reasonable for the location and product. It's pretty clean inside and out. The manager was very friendly. Great experience all around.

I have never been to this place before. The burgers are absolutely delicious. These are the type of burgers where you have a hangover and you need something greasy! I didn't, but they were delish. I got a double cheeseburger. Anyway I will definitely be coming back here. Not so excited about the chocolate shakes though, I think they use chocolate ice cream which changes the whole taste.

Loved the flavor of the burger. They are paper thin, so you at least have to get a double to feel you have had a burger but it is good. The onion rings were awesome. The cheese curds were good. The fries are like a child straw thin which I like mine thicker, but they were crispy. The frozen custard was delicious. We had a small Turtle Sunday it was loaded with pecans. They have Pepsi and I am a Coke girl, but they have other options. All in all I definitely would go back.

This is my new go to place for burgers. They are thin burgers that get crispy on the edges, kinda like schoops. I personally love em that way. Every order is fresh...burger hot and juicy and the thin fries hot and crispy...every time! The service was great too! Several times I have been asked if I needed anything and they took the garbage off my table. Haven’t tried the custard.

Honestly wait times are hard but the food is good ! Love their onion rings and burgers ! Hopefully they can get more staff but can’t blame the hard workers for making food fresh each visit !

While my vegetarian orders are often screwed up at most other fast food restaurants, Freddy's is always attentive to their customers and their orders. I have never had an order made wrong there. Not once. And my favorite part about freddy's is that they seem to value old fashioned customer service. The employees are always so kind and welcoming.

I just recently discovered Freddy’s because of work. The burgers, fries, and curds are outstanding. Always clean and the food is consistently good. The staff is very friendly and on the ball.Great Place!
