The Bottle House

This place is perfect for wedding receptions. We held my daughter's wedding ceremony in one of the private rooms. It was a small ceremony of around 100 people. Then we moved into the main room for the reception. There were closed to 250 people at the reception and had plenty of room. The bride party and groom party had their own private room areas to get dressed and chill. There was even a food ball table for the groomsmen to play along with tvs and plenty of room to relax. The people were excellent help and provided the services we requested. All in all if you are looking for a good buy for what you are getting......the bottle house is the perfect place.

Wow! This venue was perfect! Melinda and her crew were so easy to work with and very accommodating. We asked and they delivered! Many of our classmates, from all over the country, had not returned to Ottawa in 40 years. This beautiful historic space made a great impression and was the perfect backdrop for an evening of memories and reconnecting. Thank you Bottle House! Ottawa is lucky to have you!

We recently had our 50th class reunion at this venue. The space is gorgeous and Jennifer was so easy to work with. We had changes along the way and they were handled with ease. Thank you for making our event such a success!

We chose the Bottle House for our wedding reception and it was beautiful. The venue is stunning, and they were one of the only places we toured that actually had space for 200 guests and a dance floor. We scheduled multiple meetings to see the space, then again a few weeks before the wedding. I had questions along the way which were responded to promptly, I felt they did a great job staying in touch with us and helping guide us through the process.

Day of the wedding Jen arrived at 10am for us to setup, I’m so thankful she was there as she helped us decorate and even used items from the venue that we had forgotten to bring. She was in contact with the catering company prior to the wedding and it went perfectly, I couldn’t have asked for a better venue or more helpful staff. We’re so glad Ottawa has a great event space now!

I had a great experience here! I started out working with Melinda when beginning my booking and initial consultation for the venue. About a month or two before the wedding Jen Crowley reached out and she was absolutely amazing! She went over all the details and made sure everything was going good and running smoothly as planned. The day of the wedding she was super helpful with everything. The bartenders were amazing and did a great job! The venue was absolutely beautiful and the groom's suite and the bridal suite upstairs was stunning. If you are on the fence about having a wedding here, I would recommend you go for it! I had a great experience and loved having my ceremony and reception here.

The Bottle House staff was excellent to work with! We had my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower at The Bottle House and it was the perfect venue. A beautiful space with plenty of room for our guests. We had a mimosa bar and the bartenders at the Bottle House were friendly, helpful and fun with our guests. Throughout the planning process Melinda was helpful and very conscious of meeting our needs- setting up the space the way we wanted, meeting florists and caterers there to drop things off, and talking through our event with us. The Bottle House is a great addition to Ottawa. It is a great space with very attentive staff who helped make our event a success.

We were quite impressed with the detail that Melinda assisted with in helping plan and layout our event. The facility is quite attractive and also very functional. The addition of the three new large audio visual screens and sound system was very appealing to us and easy to work with. The new stage was also very helpful.

The Bottle House was very easy to work with and were flexible in providing access for our set up, decoration, and clean up phases. I would highly encourage you to consider working with Melinda and her team. You will not regret it. They are professionals all the way.

We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Bottle House, so where do we begin?! We chose the Bottle House for both the ceremony and reception because it was a beautiful local venue. It could easily accommodate a larger wedding or event, but it was perfect for the number of people we were expecting. The venue itself required very little decoration. We had centerpieces on each table and some small decorations on some side tables, but other than that there wasn’t anything we added.

Our wedding came during the COVID-19 pandemic but Jen and the Bottle House staff were great to work with. We maintained constant communication to plan the wedding based off of what guidelines and restrictions were put into place each week. The Bottle House staff put safety measures in place to protect everyone in attendance.

Overall, our experience was great. Jen was awesome to work with and provided us with a wedding experience we will never forget. We had a wedding day which was made perfect by the professionalism and service provided by the Bottle House. We would recommend all others take advantage of this venue for their wedding experience.

We used The Bottle House for our Annual Meeting and had roughly 350 people in attendance. They had plenty of seating for our guests and a nice area for the buffet line. The sound system worked great being able to speak clearly to a large crowd. The staff was very helpful in making sure everything was set up how we wanted and ensured our PowerPoint presentation looked good on their many screens. If you are having a large event in Ottawa this is the place to use! This is a great addition to the Ottawa community!

We had our wedding at The Bottle House on November 9, 2019, and we are still getting compliments on our venue! This place is perfect - the atmosphere, the decor, genuinely, just everything. The staff there is what really made it perfect for us. Everyone we worked with was such a delight. Working with Jen leading up to the wedding, though, made the experience so, truly wonderful! Jen was so thorough, helpful, accommodating, caring and compassionate throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding/reception is a lot, but having Jen at The Bottle House made things SO smooth, positive and enjoyable for us! PSA for brides everywhere - if you want to work with someone who will make this process seamless for you, CALL JEN! I couldn’t recommend her or this venue enough - this was just the perfect place for our special day! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about and wonderful memories from this place! Our wedding was held at the Bottle House and it was the best, stress-free and most enchanting experience I ever had. As a bride, planning your dream wedding can become highly stressful. The staff went above and beyond to create everything we envisioned and more! Not only did they assist us with all our requests but they also coordinated remarkably with our vendors. Additionally, this venue is so unique and beautiful; it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. Thank you Bottle House for the giving us our incredible memories!!!

We had our wedding here in May of 2021. It was set for December of 2020, but had to be canceled last minute due to Covid. The owner is so amazing, and helpful, and willing to work with us, and let us use the big space when we paid to use the smaller space. The entire venue is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the price. Which the price itself is a lot cheaper than other wedding venues we had looked into. There are different ways to set up the bar and different alcohol packages to choose from. We chose to do a cash bar, however you can pay for an open bar. They also have upstairs suites for the wedding party to get ready in that you can add on. Totally totally worth it! They are so cute! My only wish is that the bridal suite had a bathroom in it! Had to sneak my way down the stairs to get to the bathroom and hope that no one sees me. They also have their own speaker system and microphones so all you have to do is plug in to it! No setting up extra speakers! We chose to make our own playlists on YouTube (I pay for premium so no ads!) for the wedding and plug my laptop into their system. The bathrooms are nice and have multiple stalls in them. 100/10 recommend The Bottle House!!

My spouse and I hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at the Bottle House in June 2019. Melinda and the whole crew at the Bottle House were fabulous to work with during our wedding planning process and the weekend of our wedding. Melinda was extremely responsive and flexible when working with us and put our mind to ease when we had any questions or needed to make changes. She also communicated with our caterer and DJ to make sure everything went perfectly during our reception. The space is absolutely beautiful, and Melinda and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect!

Jen made sure my day went perfectly and I cannot thank them enough for all their help! She was always a liable with any questions I had and went above and beyond for us!

As a caterer that has worked with The Bottle House on many occasions, I can truly say that I have never worked with a venue that is more flexible and accommodating. Their venue manager (Melinda) has always bent over backwards to make sure that all of our questions have been answered, and any event concerns were promptly addressed. She has been a pleasure to work with every time we are hired to cater at their location. Everything has been seamless! Keep up the good work! Your space is a true asset to the Ottawa community.

My husband and I got married here and it was absolutely beautiful! Everyone you work with is so incredible nice. They can answer all your questions and let me tell you I had a lot. I'd highly recommend this venue!

The Bottle House was amazing! Our friends and family fit and had so much fun all night! Melinda is wonderful and worked with all of my needs as a bride! I would totally recommend this place for any wedding or party at all!

Was there for an event. Great place, plenty of parking. It was my first time there and hoped it was a restuarant so I could come back. But apparently an event venue only. Lots of space inside and broken into 2 sections, one large and one small. The food served was great. I recommend.

Highly recommend this venue! They went out of their way to make sure the wedding was a success. In time when customer service can be mediocre at best, this group was outstanding. I could not ask for more.

Was there because of vaccination clinic. I'm happy that Franklin County has this wonderful venue that is also working to help the community. It is set up nicely. Local schools are also using it for their proms.
